5 Fresh Ideas to Close Out the Week

Solid Moves on Thursday:

Things proceeded fairly well following our premarket report yesterday morning, wherein we flagged four possible options targets for ourselves and our readers. As it turned out, three of them made solid daytrading candidates, with the fourth registering nominal activity. The odds worked out quite in our favor and got us back on a good track.

The three runners were the FDX Weekly $260-265 Calls, the KBH Weekly $47.50-46 Puts, and the SPY 09/22 $432-433 Calls and here’s what they did for us:

FDX Weekly $260-265 Calls
$260:
 1.82-4.21 (+131%)
$262.50: .88-2.56 (+191%)
$265: .38-1.29 (+239%)
_____

KBH Weekly $47.50-46 Puts
$47.50:

_____

SPY 09/22 $432-433 Calls
$432: 2.52-3.42 (+36%)
$433: 1.90-2.70 (+50%)

Monday’s Runners, Pair of Longer-Term Plays

Good Start to the Week:

We got the fresh trading week off to a pretty good start yesterday morning. Despite having no big name earnings reporters to work with, we floated a few ideas that flew in the face of the overall trend of the day, yet still managed to log some serious intraday upswings. Unfortunately, we’re just entering another dry spell for earnings, and as usual, we’ll get along however we sit fit on the day-to-day.

As for yesterday’s targets, we were looking at the TSLA Weekly $277.50-272.50 Puts, the NVDA Weekly $435-430 Puts, and the SPY 09/18 $444-443 Puts, and here are the kinds of intraday runs they established on the session:

Friday’s Multi-Baggers, Trio of New Ideas

Reviewing Friday’s Winners:

Friday was a bloody red day for the markets in general, with a gap-down in the morning and a steady decline throughout the day. The plays in question were the DASH Weekly $82-81 Puts, the ADBE Weekly $537.50-530 Puts, and the LEN Weekly $117-115 Puts and the potential gains they afforded traders were certainly nothing to sneeze at. Check out the breakdown of their daily moves:

Tuesday Recaps, Fresh Ideas

Two for Tuesday:

We fared reasonably well yesterday, having selected a trio of potential plays for our premarket report. While we didn’t manage a clean sweep on that, two out of three isn’t half bad, and our moving targets produced a very solid performance on the session. We also had a solid NASDAQ play pop off of the extended watchlist, so all in all we’re in pretty good shape as we cross this week’s midpoint.

Yesterday’s movers and shakers were the ORCL Weekly $117-115 Puts and the NVDA Weekly $455-450 Puts, and here are the total possible gains they facilitated on Tuesday: .

AMKR 10/20 $22-23 Calls
AIN 10/20 $85-90 Calls

We had AVTX in yesterday’s report, and the stock started out changing hands for as little as .102. As of this morning’s new high of .24 that marks a 24-hour swing of 139%
