Lossless Thursday, 5 Plays to End the Week

Thursday’s Big Plays:

Even with our level of acumen, which makes missing on daily options ideas rather rare around here, it’s always exciting when we have a chance to complete a perfect week. But that’s what we’re faced with today, having yet to falter on a single target this week. A green slate today would complete that feat, because once again on Thursday, everything we signaled in our daily premarket report recorded sizable intraday upswings of which traders could have taken advantage.

We were zeroed in on the AZN Weekly $64-62 Puts, the DIS Weekly $105-107 Calls, the PYPL Weekly $61-59 Puts, and the ARM Weekly $96-98 Calls. Here were the moves they made on the day, which ranged from moderate to downright eye-popping:

Friday’s Half Day Runners, A Pair of New Ideas

Friday’s Half Day Runners:

It was a rather subdued finish to the short holiday week on Friday, just as we surmised it would be in our premarket report for the day. That didn’t stop us from formulating a few options ideas to close things out, all three of which posted some sort of intraday movement. The holidays can be rather laid back, and we’re looking at a sleepy start to this week as well, with no major earnings reporters on the slate for this morning.

Friday’s runners were the HTHT Weekly $35 Calls, the BABA Weekly $78-79 Calls, and the SPY 11/24 $454 Calls, and here are the numbers they recorded on the session:

HTHT Weekly $35 Calls
$35:
 2.50-2.85 (+14%)
_____

BABA Weekly $78-79 Calls
$78:
 .31-.65 (+110%)
$79: .10-.24 (+140%)
_____

SPY 11/24 $454 Calls
$454: .86-1.41 (+64%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
WMT Weekly $155-157.50 Calls
BBY Weekly $69-70 Calls

Star Alliance International Corp. (OTCMKTS:STAL) – Recap:

As we were just reminding our readers on Friday, we’ve been tracking STAL since our report on  November 3rd, and a PPS of .001, and the stock has been setting impressive new highs. That happened once again during Friday’s session, with the stock reaching a new high of .0177, which represents an astonishing 1670% rise over our initially observed low earlier this month!

Blackstar Enterprise Group, Inc. (OTMKTS:BEGI) – Recap:

Another one that has popping up on our watchlists for quite some time is BEGI, which, following our tag on October 30th, has run from a low of .0008, up to Friday’s high of .0105, which marks an upswing of 1212%

The OTC Markets in general seem to be heating up recently, which is why we suggest going through our daily extended watchlist for potential hidden subpenny gems, as STAL and BEGI have turned out to be. We aren’t being paid to promote any of the penny stocks in our extended watchlists, we merely do a routine daily scan for interesting potential targets for readers to consider.

Recent Options Movers & More

Recent Runners:

With no earnings plays to work with, it was a pretty rough outing yesterday to kick off the week. We didn’t see immediate chances for returns on the few options ideas we selected, leaving us in anticipation of another earnings season to begin its return next week. We’ll keep the plays we highlighted yesterday on the radar as always, but for this morning’s report, we’ll just focus on some other longer-term ideas we recently formulated, and the progress they’ve managed since then.

We flagged the EVGO 08/18 $4-5 Calls last Monday the 3rd, and the SNOW 08/04 $170-165 Puts we signaled on Friday morning, and have seen some reasonably solid swings from them.

EVGO 08/18 $4-5 Calls
$4:
1.40-2.39 (+95%)
$5: .04-.10 (+150%)
_____

SNOW 08/04 $170-165 Puts
$170:
6.98-12.52 (+79%)
$165: 5.19-9.70 (+87%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
SPY 07/11 $439-441 Calls*
INTU Weekly $460-465 Calls
WDFC 07/21 $200-210 Calls
PSMT 07/21 $75 Puts

*Trading options contracts on their day of expiration should only be attempted by experienced traders

T2 Biosystems, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTOO)

We’ve also seen quite an impressive multibag run from TTOO, which we began tracking in our report from the morning of June 22nd. Over these past few weeks we’ve witnessed the stock rise from a low of .066 to as much as .1894 in the premarket this morning. That works out to a gain of 187%
