Good Start to the Week, 5-Pack of Ideas

Solid Moves Monday:

We got the week off to a fairly good start yesterday morning, signaling a series of four potential options trading targets. Three of those produced instant results for us, and posted some good figures on the day. We’re still getting along, even as the big name earnings reports that are typically our bread and butter, have been few and far between. A look at the extended earnings calendar suggests that the next major earnings period will begin ramping up in the last week of October, so we’re less than three weeks away from much more exciting times.

Another Clean Sheet on Friday:

We finished last week out in top form, wrapping things up in a nice little package in Friday morning’s premarket report. After Thursday’s huge session in which we called six plays and landed six winners, we dialed it back a bit and only went for three possibilities. We were not disappointed with the activity that followed, which capped off another solid trading week on an extremely high note, including another thousand percent mover.

We got along quite well as we closed out the short trading week on Friday with a slate of four possible options plays, and saw gains ranging from good to great in three of those four targets. The markets got off to a bullish start, and after lunch hour, reversed track and fell into the close. That provided plenty of intraday activity to facilitate some very nice upswings in our daily targets.

We also saw a decent intraday move out of GRRR, which we tagged in Friday’s extended watchlist. The stock ran from a low of 3.39 on up to a daily high of 5.79 which represented a rise of 71% on the day.
