Midweek Options Movers, 3 Fresh Ideas

Four for Five on Tuesday:

Our performance for yesterday’s session turned out to be an extremely solid one, with our premarket report containing five potential options targets, four of which posted really good results on the day. Most were puts, and with the help of a crummy day for the markets, the opportunities were not in short supply.

We’re also going to include figures from the RIVN Weekly $25-23 Puts we signaled on Monday and updated in yesterday’s report, because of the impressive new highs they tacked on:

Good Start to the Week, 5-Pack of Ideas

Solid Moves Monday:

We got the week off to a fairly good start yesterday morning, signaling a series of four potential options trading targets. Three of those produced instant results for us, and posted some good figures on the day. We’re still getting along, even as the big name earnings reports that are typically our bread and butter, have been few and far between. A look at the extended earnings calendar suggests that the next major earnings period will begin ramping up in the last week of October, so we’re less than three weeks away from much more exciting times.

In the meantime, our three runners from yesterday morning’s report, the the and the held us over pretty well for Monday, and we have a solid slate for today as well. Here’s how those figures broke down for yesterday:

NVDA Weekly $437.50-440 Calls
$437.50:
 9.10-17.15 (+88%)
$440: 7.90-15.27 (+93%)
_____

COIN Weekly $77-79 Calls
$77:
 1.49-1.96 (+32%)
$78: 1.08-1.52 (+41%)
$79: .80-1.17 (+136%)
_____

RIVN Weekly $25-23 Puts
$25: .94-1.82 (+94%)
$24.50: .69-1.46 (+112%)
$24: .48-1.13 (+135%)
$23.50: .32-.86 (+169%)
$23: .20-.61 (+105%)

Recapping Options Runners, Fresh Plays

Markets Rip on Monday:

We were a little light on options activity with one of the two ideas we signaled in yesterday’s report, but fortunately for us, the day was marked by a sizable surge in the markets. That not only sent our SPY 12/12 $393-394 Calls for the day on a major run, but we saw new highs in several of the December 16th Calls we’ve been tracking in other chains in recent weeks.

We signaled the SMAR 12/16 $35-40 Calls for observation on December 2nd, and both the GTLB 12/16 $45 Calls and the FERG 12/16 $115-120 Calls we targeted on the 6th. Here are the full breakdowns of yesterday’s SPY’s, and the performance of the other plays over the aforementioned date ranges:
