FB (Facebook), GMXS, EMWW & Today’s Extended Watchlist

Facebook, Inc. FB

Here’s our take on FB. As a service used by a sizable portion of the free world, and all of the excitement being kicked up by today’s IPO, it would seem reasonable to expect the stock to trade like a beast out of the starting gate, BUT (and here is our word of caution)- We will not be getting married to FB stock in its early trading days, as we feel that once the initial hysteria dies down, FB will be subject to a large consolidation.

For the short-term, we feel that taking quick profits, and adopting a cautious attitude will prevail. As far as the long-term is concerned, it seems unlikely that Facebook will hold its initial gains.(which could figure to be pretty substantial). So what we are looking at here, is a bit of a double-edged sword, but leaving out all emotion and trading smartly could make a play at this new stock worth our while.

Gemini Explorations, Inc. GMXS

GMXS had another nice performance yesterday on the heels of a post-market announcement made by the company Wednesday.

We saw gains on the order of 47% on its second highest volume day ever, trading 369,000 shares, just 20K shy of the all-time high.

The stock closed with strength Thursday, finishing at it’s high-of-day, and having broken through the 50MA. The next key levels of resistance will be the 20MA (.08), and the 52-wk high of .10, however beyond that, we’re in blue-sky breakout mode, and traveling into uncharted waters.

From yesterday’s close at .078, to the previous ten cent high, would represent a gain of 28%; nothing at which to bat an eye.

Structural Enhancement Technologies EMWW

Winners, winners, everywhere! EMWW saw another green session Thursday, also having closed at it’s HOD (.0098), up 30% on the day.

Extended Watchlist:

GMXS, HPCS & Today’s Extended Watchlist

Gemini Explorations, Inc. GMXS

GMXS has taken a backseat to a lot of our other interests lately, having been on our radar since March 21st.

The stock has been trading in a tight channel in the .05-.10 range (as you can see on the GMXS Chart), We wanted to bring your attention back to  GMXS, as it seems to be trading at a relative bottom, with support at around a nickel..

There was also news out this morning:

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA, May 16, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) — Gemini Explorations, Inc. (‘Gemini’) (PINKSHEETS: GMXS) is pleased to announce that it has commenced negotiations with adjacent concession owners to expand its land holdings at the La Tapada gold project.

HPC POS System, Corp. HPCS

We also wanted to add a possible bottom-bounce play in HPCS. Let’s keep this one on our watchlists today as well.

Extended Watchlist:

ZNGA, MFTH, MSVS, F & Today’s Extended Watchlist

Zynga, Inc. ZNGA

ZNGA hit 8.67 yesterday, gaining 18% from its 52-wk low that we pointed out the day prior. It’s always nice to be able to time a bottom just right.

As we said yesterday, Friday’s upcoming Facebook IPO has a lot of folks buzzing about related stocks as well, leading us to believe that the rest of the week could continue to be very interesting for ZNGA.

Yesterday we pointed out ZNGA options as well (the $10 June Calls), which traded as low as .35, and as high as .55, for a possible 57% profit.

Medisafe 1 Technologies Corp. MFTH

Micron Enviro Systems Inc. MSVS

These two new momentum plays popped up on our radar recently after we noticed inreasing volume and PPS. We are going to be to keeping an eye out for each to continue the patterns we have observed, hopefully bringing us some nice added gains.

Ford Motor Co.  F

We want to keep our scanners attuned to Ford stock as well as the stock has been on a steady downtrend of late. It is currently trading as low as it has since the last week in December, and we are on the sidelines patiently waiting for it to settle into an absolute bottom, which we will attempt to time as well as we did with ZNGA.

Once we see a turnaround here, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the stock go right back to around 12.00 or 13.00, which would be a tidy gain from current levels.
