Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Super-Subpenny Movers & More

In Ovations Holdings, Inc. INOH

We talked about INOH in Friday’s premarket report, noting that the company had just come current on its filings.

We’ve been tracking a bunch of super-subpenny plays lately, which for one reason or another, have seen heightened activity over the past couple of weeks. We surmised that INOH could be the next link in that chain, and we weren’t disappointed.

The stock traded in a range from .00039 to .0006 on the day, an upswing of 54% on roughly three times the monthly average volume. We’ll want to continue to watch INOH for the recording of higher highs and higher lows as we kick off the trading week.

IDO Security, Inc. IDOI

Speaking of super-subpenny stocks, we put IDOI on our readers’ radars back on March 21st after seeing a pretty sizable uptick in price action and volatility just prior to that.

After a couple of weeks of trading sideways, IDOI once again saw a rush of activity flow into the stock and Friday’s session brought a chance at some very respectable intraday gains.

The stock traded up from .0003, cracking the super-sub/subpenny threshold and reaching a high of .0011 for a daily pop of 267% We’ll also continue to keep an eye on this one to see if it can carry some of that volatility over to this week.

Akari Therapeutics, Plc. AKTX

We tagged AKTX on Thursday, and saw a solid intraday performance as it ran from a low of 13.69 to 18.46, (+35%). We noted this in Friday morning’s report, and mentioned that we wanted to stay on its trail.

What we ended up seeing was a very similar move to the previous session as AKTX came down off of Thursday’s highs and executed a dip-and-rip pattern that caused it to retrace its steps, trading in a range from 13.50 to a new high of 18.80, an intraday move of 39%

Galectin Therapeutics, Inc. GALT

Speaking of new highs, we wanted to comment on GALT, which is a stock that we’ve been tracking pretty regularly since the beginning of this year as you can see with a quick view of the GALT tag on our blog.

Our observed low of .935 came a couple of weeks following our tag of the stock on January 12th, and for the most part, it has been a continual climb since then, reaching a new peak at 2.87 on Friday. It works out as a total move of 207% that we’ve seen from GALT in 2017.

Extended Watchlist:
NAKD, XGTI, SWFT, GERN, CETX,

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: USRM, ICLD Follow-ups & More

U.S. Stem Cell, Inc. USRM
We’ve been tracking USRM very closely over the past few weeks, since initially mentioning it on the morning of February 27th and witnessing a huge subsequent increase( .014-.0545,+289%). We monitored the consolidation off of that high down to .0175, and once again signaled that it was time to give it our close attention last week on the 15th.

The rebound that has since occurred has been very nice, with USRM surging back to .053 yesterday, a jump of 203% over its .0175 swing low. So that’s twice now, in the span of less than a month that we’ve seen a 200% move out of this play. We’re obviously going to continue following it, with the type of price action and volatility we’ve seen so far, USRM is currently a swing-trader’s paradise.

InterCloud Systems, Inc. ICLD

We also had a ringer with ICLD earlier this month, when we signaled it on the 2nd before the stock took off from a low of .0157 to a high .0985, a 527% rip. After watching it consolidate off of those highs for a few days, re brought it back to readers’ attention in yesterday’s premarket report, and our attempted timing of the reversal couldn’t have worked any better.

From an early low of .0302, the stock steadily made its way up to a high .0439 shortly after 1PM, for an intraday spike of 45% and held more than half of its daily gains into the close, so this one will also remain on our watchlist in coming sessions.

Northern Dynasty Minerals, Ltd. NAK

We tagged NAK last Thursday after watching the stock search out a bottom for quite awhile. The stock did bounce, and has thus far posted a 31% increase, reaching 1.58 yesterday and closing just a tick below at 1.57, as you can see on the included snapshot.

Also on the chart, we can see that the RSI is on the verge of cracking the 50-line, and the MACD has just crossed in a bullish manner. Conditions seem to be ripe for the possibility of a continued rebound, so we’ll pay close attention to NAK in sessions to come.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options, MHRC Updates & More

Magnum Hunter Resources, Inc. MHRC

We’ll kick things off this morning by updating everyone as to the status of MHRC, which we placed in Monday’s premarket report as a bottom-watch play. We really couldn’t have timed our alert any better, and after registering a low of .021 Monday, the stock has made continuous progression throughout the week.

Yesterday, after seeing a low of .0257, MHRC ran as high as .0337, marking an intraday move of 31% As measured from our observed low on Monday, yesterday’s high represents a three-session swing of 60%

We’ll continue to remain interested in MHRC in sessions to come provided it continues to establish higher lows as it has been doing. As we’ve pointed out on the following chart snapshot, a number of factors lead us to believe that upside potential remains high with this play. The stock was beaten back vigorously earlier this month, and there are even a couple of gaps to fill on the chart.

Options Updates

We’d now like to update our readers on our options ideas from Tuesday, which included targets in the WMT and HD chains- Yesterday we stated our belief that action in WMT and HD stocks could provide options traders with further opportunities for swing trades and as it happened, we were right.

Walmart-Stores Inc. WMT – For WMT the bullish run continued, and some of the contracts we were observing recorded substantial intraday moves. Possible gains ranged from the $58 Weekly Calls, which traded in a range from 1.81-3.06, allowing for gains of up to 69%, to the $60’s which ran from .26 to 1.16 for a huge 316% rip.

___

The Home Depot, Inc HD executed a textbook dip-and-rip rallying into the close, and all of the contracts we originally signaled made big swings:

$123 Calls – Trading Range: 2.10-3.55  – Max Gain: 69%
$124 Calls – Trading Range: 1.30-2.55  – Max Gain: 96%
$125 Calls – Trading Range: .72-1.73 – Max Gain: 140%

Wednesday’s Other Notable Moves

In addition to the preceding plays, the following pair also made some solid intraday pushes after appearing in our morning report:

Axion Power International, Inc. AXPW turned in a nice intraday performance as it ran from a low of 1.10 to 1.60, for gains of up to 45% on nearly ten times its 30-day average volume.

Advanced Defense Technologies, Inc. ADCF ultimately ended taking a pounding into the close, but before that happened, it made a noteworthy pop straight out of the starting gate, running 39% from .0079 to .011.
