Another Big Trading Week on the Books

Boeing, Equifax, Netflix Updates:

We had some big name earnings reporters toward the end of this week, and we’ve taken full advantage. On Wednesday, we signaled some successful weekly NFLX calls which once again put forth a solid intraday performance, and yesterday’s fresh ideas in the BA and EFX chains also worked out quite nicely on the day.

Blue Sphere Corp. BLSP

Once again we’re providing an update on BLSP, which we signaled in Wednesday’s report just prior to the stock making a 114% run from .0028 to .006. After recapping those numbers in yesterday’s report, we saw yet another excellent intraday exhibition from BLSP.

From a low of .0055, the stock pushed to a high of .0093, which represents an upswing of 76% on the day, and a two-day increase of 232% over our observed low on Wednesday. That high fell just one tick shy of the present 50DMA at .0094. Should it manage to breach that level, things could get even more interesting for BLSP, which was trading north of two cents as recently as February.

Nano Labs Corp. CTLE – Recap

At the top of our to-do list this morning is going to be CTLE, which we tagged for observation in yesterday morning’s premarket report. We include these Extended Watchlist plays nearly every day, and it’s always a good idea to add them to a watchlist on your own screens, as they often turn up hidden gems like this one.

CTLE recorded a low of .0044 before pushing up to a high of .0095, which represents an intraday rip of 116% The stock posted this performance on its largest single day trading volume in well over five years, with over a billion shares changing hands! With activity on this level, we’ll certainly want to continue to follow the CTLE chart as we head through midweek.

Ebix.com Inc. EBIX – Bottom Bouncer

We took notice of EBIX this morning on a routine scan, and discovered a very attractive bottom setup on the chart. As you can see on the included snapshot below, the stock fell off a cliff last month and has spent the past week establishing a new bottom.

This is exactly the type of setup we look for in a potential recovery play, with a base of support along with a massive topside gap on the chart. We’re going to add a longer-term options idea that would allow us to take advantage of any impending rebounds. We’re going to radar the EBIX 06/18 $40-45 Calls.

Fresh Options Idea:
AMBA Weekly $118-121 Calls

Fresh Options Plays, Friday’s Multi-Baggers

SolarWinds Corp. SWI – Bottom Watch Play

Many SWI shareholders have been running for the hills following the company’s software being at the center of a major global hacking effort last week, and that’s precisely why we are becoming interested in the stock as a bottom-watch play.

SWI is apparently on track to report a big year-over-year earnings increase, and while the full ramifications of the company’s role in the breaches is not yet known, we want to get out ahead of the crowd and begin monitoring it for a bottom-bounce entry point nonetheless.

Not only will we track the stock, but we’re going to formulate a longer-term options idea to monitor over the next couple of months, with the SWI 02/19 $12.50-17.50 Calls.
