Blue Horseshoe Stocks: DRI Recap & More

General Mills, Inc. GS

First up today, we are taking a look at General Mills following the company’s solid quarterly figures on earnings and profits released here in the premarket.

The stock itself has gotten badly beaten up recently, as have most stocks in what is shaping up to be a very turbulent finish to 2018. However, the strong numbers reported could be just the catalyst to effect a convincing reversal. We’re going to be waiting in the wings with our eye on the GIS Weekly $37.50 Calls to try to take advantage of the situation.

Darden Restaurants, Inc. DRI

We highlighted some calls in the DRI chain yesterday, the DRI Weekly $95-105 Calls. Of those three sets of contracts, we got some very nice activity from two out of the three. While the $95′s were too far in the money, the $100′s and the $105′s fared quite well.

The $100 Calls traded up from a low of 2.85 and hit an even 5.00 for a gain of 75% and the  $105′s surged from .65-1.60, producing a gain opportunity of up to 146%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Updates, Options Ideas

Spectrum Global Solutions, Inc. SGSI

We wanted to circle back around to mention SGSI this morning, and pass along some media from the company that does not appear in its official news feed.

The president of Spectrum Global gave an interview on the company, and we would highly suggest that our readers take the time to check that video out. Additionally, for anyone who may have missed our initial special report on SGSI, it would be a good idea to give that a look as well.

Spectrum had a really solid year of growth in 2018 and we are very excited about the company’s prospects for the coming New Year.

Riot Blockchain, Inc. RIOT

We also want to place RIOT on recovery watch this morning. The stock, along with the price of Bitcoin, has been beaten up for quite some time now, but may be seeing some stabilization, especially with investor confidence in traditional securities being at perhaps the lowest point in the whole of 2018.

RIOT saw the beginnings of a bottom-bounce yesterday, and we’re going to want to monitor it into year’s end for the potential of a more sustained rebound.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: New Highs Everywhere!

New Highs Everywhere!

We were just updating readers on the progress of TLRY, DCTH, and NBEV in yesterday morning’s report. We were already impressed with their performances prior to yesterday, and yet each one managed to pile on the potential gains. All three rose sharply to new highs, so we’re coming right back to recap those excellent moves today. .

Tilray, Inc. TLRY – This is the hottest new IPO, and we’ve been tracking it since last Tuesday, at which time the stock was trading at 87.50. Yesterday it hit $300 even, an incredible seven-day swing of 243%

We were also tracking the TLRY 09/21 $91-93 Calls, which made great moves but have since been pushed so far into the money that they’ve been passed over, with the exception of the $93′s, which were still trading volume yesterday, and reached a high of 139.24, From our observed low of 5.23, that marks a fantastic gain of 2562%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: DRI Review & More

Darden Restaurants, Inc. DRI

On occasion, we’ll see an opportunity for a longer term move in a stock, and instead of signaling weekly options, we’ll select a later expiration date. This is what occurred with DRI, when we signaled the DRI 07/20 $100-115 Calls back on the 22nd of last month.

After roughly three weeks, DRI has done little else other than continue to climb, and it has provided some really great chances thus far in these contracts that are set to expire this Friday.

Here are the total gains that have been made possible by this idea to date:

$100 Calls – Range: 3.00-12.30 – Max Gain: 310%
$105 Calls – Range: .90-7.30 – Max Gain: 711%
$110 Calls – Range: .30-2.50 – Max Gain: 733%
$115 Calls – Range: .05-.55 – Max Gain: 1000%

Biocept, Inc. BIOC

We also want to track back to our tag of BIOC from Friday. The stock had been showing the beginnings of some bottom bounce activity earlier in the week, and our hunch that further gains were possible turned out to be correct.

BIOC traded in a daily range from 7.06 on up to a high of 12.15, which represented an intraday pop of 72% on Friday.
