Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TNDM Recap & More

Tandem Diabetes Corp. TNDM

First up this morning, we want to recap the performance of TNDM, since slating it for observation on April 11th. The following day, the stock found support at 6.62, and hasn’t looked back since.

Yesterday, after what has been a bullish period that has already persisted for weeks on end, the stock hit a new high of 11.30. That works out to an upswing of 71% in just a shade over a month, and the highest PPS the stock has seen for more than eight months. We’re not that far off from seeing TNDM test the highs from its huge run back in August of last year.

Stein Mart, Inc. SMRT

We also would like to backtrack to a call we made even earlier in the year that has made some excellent long term progress. We signaled interest in SMRT back on March 16th, and in these past two months the stock has done little else but continue to bull its way upward.

From the 1.33 low we witnessed shortly after that alert, SMRT has gone on  to reach a high of 3.35. That works out to a gain of 152%

The Home Depot, Inc. HD – Options Idea

HD was already looking a bit top-heavy, and that’s before the company released a an exceedingly disappointing quarterly report.

We’re going to want to track a range of bearish options ideas to correspond with the present situation- the HD Weekly $187.50-182.50 Puts.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: KORS Recap & More

Michael Kors Holdings, Ltd. KORS – Options Recap

We took the opportunity to signal some KORS options yesterday in the wake of the company’s convincing earnings beat, and it was a good thing we did, because the stock had a monstrous session, running from a low of 42.71 to a high of 45.73.

That was more than enough of an intraday push to facilitate some really great gain opportunities for anyone who looked into our highlighted ideas, the KORS Weekly $41.50-43.50 Calls. Each and every contract in our specified range erupted with big time multi-bag moves on the day exceeding 1000%, which were as follows:

$41.50 Calls – Range: .31-3.97 – Max Gain: 1180%
$42 Calls – Range: .25-3.45  – Max Gain: 1280%
$42.50 Calls – Range: .20-2.65 – Max Gain: 1225%
$43 Calls – Range: .14-2.75 – Max Gain: 1864%
$43.50 Calls – Range: .13-2.25 – Max Gain: 1630%

This was certainly one of our sharpest calls and greatest plays of the entire summer so far, so cheers go out to anyone who hopped on for the ride!

Ubiquitech Software Corp. UBQU

The UBQU newsreel has been hot over the last week, wherein we learned that the company’s HempLife subsidiary was expanding its line of CBD products to include offerings for pets, and that UBQU also launched a new division that brings it into the trendy cryptocurrency space.

Along with a confluence of recent developments, we are also seeing bottom-bounce potential in the UBQU chart at the present time. The stock has essentially been getting beaten back all summer long, so we’ll want to begin watching for the possibility of a convincing rebound in the days ahead.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: RT Recap, Fresh Ideas & More

Ruby Tuesday, Inc. RT – Update

It was in our premarket report the Friday before last that we perfectly called the bottom on Ruby Tuesday, as the stock registered a new 52-week low of 2.08 that day. It spent last week pushing its way ever upward, reaching a high of 3.20 on Friday, which works out to an increase of 54%

The extended term options idea that we formulated, the RT 11/18 $2.50 Calls, have also broken out as a result. From the low of .05 on the morning of our first alert, to Friday’s new high of .60 represented an astonishing one week swing of 1100%

We’ll want to continue to keep ourselves abreast of the situation here as we kick off another trading week. We want to see RT continue to register higher support levels each day, and with plenty of time left until the expiration of those contracts, a sustained rally for the stock would mean more gains on the options side of things as well.

Hasbro, Inc. HAS – Options Idea

We’re seeing another potential options trading opportunity unfolding with Hasbro this morning on the heels of its premarket earnings beat. In this case, the stock has also recently come down to 6-month lows, and is approaching heavily oversold territory.  As our regular readers are aware, we’re always on the lookout for plays of this nature. Our targets of interest will be the HAS Weekly $79-81 Calls, unless the stock breaks 81, in which case we’d roll our strike price up to match the activity.

Sipp Industries, Inc. SIPC

We want to tag SIPC for observation this morning after running across a new PR in which the company disclosed that it has retired 395 Million shares (>>View PR).

Additionally, the stock has been in the process of consolidating off of a recent run to nearly a penny, so we’re going to be on the lookout for a potential dip-and-rip scenario.
