Tuesday’s Top Up-Tickers, 5 New Possibilities

Tuesday’s Options Updates:

We finally ran into a hitch for the first time this year yesterday, with one of the three potential options plays we laid out in our morning report failing to produce instant results. Our BOX 01/19 $25 Calls may need some more time to produce a sizable upswing, but the other two targets certainly worked out for us on the day.

Those plays were the MSM Weekly $90 Puts, and the AYI 01/19 $210-220 Calls, and below you’ll find the intraday moves on those, as well as another update on the CYTK 01/19 $70 Calls which we’ve been tracking since December 29th, after they recorded an impressive new high this week. It’s a good example of how some of our longer-term ideas can take slightly longer to come to full fruition.

A 4-Pack of Fresh Options Plays

Options Puts Buck the Market Trend:

We decided to go bearish on a couple of options ideas for yesterday morning’s premarket report, flying in the face of the market sentiment of the day. HAL and LMT were both coming off their earnings reports, and a short felt like the way to go.

Despite the markets roaring up, both of our ideas bucked the overall trend and recorded excellent moves on the day, providing ourselves and our readers with multibag intraday gain opportunities. Our specific targets were the HAL Weekly $41.50-40.50 Puts, and the LMT Weekly $465-460 Puts, and here were the excellent moves they put forth for the session:

HAL Weekly $41.50-40.50 Puts
$41.50: .45-1.10 (+144%)
$41: .33-.80 (+142%)
$40.50: .22-.53 (+141%)

_____

LMT Weekly $465-460 Puts
$465:
2.90-8.60 (+203%)
$460: 1.90-5.50 (+189%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
NFLX Weekly $$260-252.50 Puts
PG Weekly $160-162.50 Calls
IBM Weekly $131-133 Calls

Another Solid Options Effort:

We took a bold stance in yesterday morning’s premarket report, going bearish on all three sets of options ideas we formulated for the session. While all three target stocks turned in green candles on the day, the first couple hours of the session definitely played into our hands nicely. There were substantial opportunities for gains on the table for all three of our interests.

We were targeting the URBN Weekly $35-33 Puts, the DLTR Weekly $132-130 Puts, and the BBY Weekly $122-119 Puts. The following are the morning ranges and total possible profits that could have been attained off of these ideas:

URBN Weekly $35-33 Puts
$35:
 1.70-3.20 (+88%)
$34: .90-2.30 (+156%)
$33: .55-1.55 (+181%)
_____

DLTR Weekly $132-130 Puts
$132: .26-.77 (+196%)
$131: .20-.45 (+125%)
$130: .17-.44 (+159%)
_____

BBY Weekly $122-119 Puts

$122: 4.25-7.25 (+70%)
$121: 3.00-5.60 (+87%)
$120: 3.00-5.73 (+92%)
$119: 2.62-4.99 (+90%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
DE Weekly $352.50-360
FUTU Weekly $54-57 Calls
HPQ Weekly $33-35 Calls

iSpecimen, Inc. ISPC – Recap:

On Monday morning, we tagged ISPC in our watchlist, and that stock went on to make a nice intraweek move.

From a low of 8.06, the stock ran as high as 18.50. That works out to an increase of 130% which is an excellent short term move for a NASDAQ stock in this price range. In those two sessions. ISPC has traded roughly ten times its 30-day average volume.
