Blue Horseshoe Stock: More Options Success

General Motors Co. GM

We went very options heavy in our report yesterday morning, updating our readers on the success of ideas we had earlier in the week, and also including a pair of fresh ideas, GM Weekly $40-42 Calls.

We’re pleased to report that all five of the contracts in our designated range produced the opportunity for tangible intraday profits.

$21 Calls – Range: 1.61-2.73 – Max Gain: 70%
$21.50 Calls – Range: 1.00-2.22 – Max Gain: 122%
$22 Calls – Range: .73-1.70 – Max Gain: 133%
$21.50 Calls – Range: .42-1.26 – Max Gain: 200%
$22 Calls – Range: .18-.85 – Max Gain: 372%

Burlington Stores, Inc. BURL

Also freshly formulated in yesterday’s report was our idea for the BURL Weekly $141-144 Calls, and we were not disappointed on that front either. While the bottom half of the range was pushed too deep into the money for any serious activity, we quickly zeroed in on the top performers, the $143 and $144 Calls.

The $143’s managed a huge run from 1.45-5.80, marking an intraday surge of 300% while the $144‘s posted a range of 1.40-4.00, which works out to a 186% rip.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Fresh Options Ideas & More

First we’d like to apologize for our email list members for the absence of yesterday’s premarket report. Our service provider was shut down for the most of the day rendering us unable to send our daily report via email. This is an exceedingly rare event, but in these cases, you can always bookmark and visit BlueHorseshoeStocks.com just before market open, as all of our newsletters are archived there for easy reference.

Alcobra Ltd. ADHD

We did include ADHD in yesterday’s report, but since many of readers happened to miss it, we’ll back up to the next most recent mention, when we alerted the stock on September 29th.

The stock did see sub-1.00 prices that day, but took a couple more sessions to see its low of .96. Since then ADHD has been on a steady run-up, culminating in a new high of 2.17, which represented a very nice 127% move in a three week period.

PayPal Holdings, Inc. PYPL

We want to highlight a range of options for PYPL after the company posted its quarterly earnings after market close yesterday. The stock has been on a nearly continual rise all year long, and in premarket trading today, PYPL shares have rocketed into blue skies, setting a new annual high with each uptick.

As we often do in these post-earnings beat gap-up situations, we’ll identify a set of options contracts in the PYPL chain to observe as things kick off this morning, in this case, the PYPL Weekly $71-72.50 Calls* for potential quick strike trades today.

*Important: Never trade options with a weekly expiration on a Friday unless you’re an expert trader with disposable funds. It’s extremely risky.

AcelRx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ACRX

ACRX recently fell off a cliff after the FDA rejected the company’s NDA for its Dsuvia drug, however ACRX believes it can meet the accompanying guidelines to eventually submit a successful application. We did alert that event in last Friday’s report, and meanwhile, the stock is gapping up this morning after having seen and bounced off of new annual lows yesterday.

Recovering even a fraction of the ground it lost last week, could spell significant upswings for ACRX in coming sessions.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BVTK Pops Again & More

Bravatek Solutions, Inc. BVTK

BVTK was among our mentions in Wednesday’s premarket report after it was unearthed in our chatroom* the previous morning before making a 500% move.  Those who missed that run got another chance right away as the stock ran from .0009-.0035 that afternoon, and topped out at .0041 to close out the short week on Friday. That added another two-day swing of 355% to the activity we had observed in BVTK, which was followed by a pullback to .0015.

Once again, to kick off the new trading week yesterday, BVTK began to run, returning to a high of .0034 on the day, representing yet another two-day upswing out of this volatile runner amounting to 127%  The stock ended the session having traded roughly three-and-a-half times its monthly average volume. Things could get very interesting if it can manage to crack resistance at the previous swing high of .0041.

The company filed an 8-K this morning as well , pertaining to an agreement with i3 Integrative Creative Solutions, pursuant to which i3 Integrative will promote and solicit commitments in the United States federal government military and civilian markets regarding the Company’s cybersecurity email software and telecom services. Bank of America Corp BAC – Options Ideas

Whenever we spot an opportunity to swoop in post-earnings with some options ideas, we jump on it right away, and that’s what we have with BAC this morning.

We haven’t highlighted this stock in quite awhile, but with a very solid beat on earnings and a small gap-up in the premarket, we’re going to want to signal a couple of short term contracts for observation in the BAC Weekly $22.50 and $23 Calls.

In the event that a more sustained rebound is in the cards, considering the fact that BAC was already coming off of a relative bottom just yesterday, we’ll have the BAC 05/12 $23.50 & $24 Calls on watch as well.

Bottom-Watchlist

We want to put an observational tag on both Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. SRNE and OncoMed Pharmaceuticals, Inc. OMED.  Both of these stocks have taken serious beatings of late, and consequently, are in extreme oversold territory. Chances for recovery plays here seem quite high, so we’re going to watch for these to establish higher lows in sessions ahead.
