Options Review:

We’ve been all over the SPY lately, playing it both short and long over the past week with great success each time. Yesterday morning we signaled some fresh bullish targets for the dailies, and were met with multibag runs on the session.

We were after the SPY 01/12 $470-472 Calls, and thanks to a gap-and-go right out of the starting gate, we got the following opportunities:

We also had a trio of other fresh plays, of which two produced instant results- the INFY 01/21 $25-26 Calls and the AMBA Weekly $157.50-162.50 Calls. We also signaled a longer-term play in some February calls on NFLX, but we’ll circle back around to those in an upcoming report. OTC Runners Review:

It is often difficult to divert our full attention from options trading, especially during such a fruitful time, but we’ll only depart momentarily for updates on some excellent moves on stock side of things that were borne from yesterday morning’s extended watchlist.

A NASDAQ and an OTC play, respectively, we were tracking NURO & GLCO and surprisingly enough, it was the big board play that busted the double-bag barrier with a huge move on the day. GLCO turned in a very respectable intraday mope as well.

US Steel Corp. X – Options Review:

We offered up a possible trade idea for the X chain in Friday morning’s premarket report, just as the company provided first quarter 2021 guidance that reflects higher expectations on strong steel demand leading to a rise in price. That led to an excellent session wherein X approached its previous high of the calendar year thus far, though it did ultimately come up just shy of the mark.

Our designated targets, the X Weekly $22-22.50 Calls fared quite well, with the PPS surging past and holding over $24 into the close. That facilitated the following gain opportunities for anyone who happened to catch our signal:

eXp World Holdings Inc. EXPI:

Speaking of solid options plays, on Wednesday morning we threw out an idea for the EXPI chain, specifically targeting the EXPI 03/19 $50-52.50 Calls. The stock performed exceedingly well to close out the week, running to new highs.

That move enabled our options plays to record some excellent double bag trading ranges, and with the momentum built up in the stock, we’re going to want to continue to track these ideas, in addition to rolling up to include the EXPI 03/19 $55 Calls.
