Solid Options Plays, Fresh Targets

More Options Review:

Yesterday turned out to be a very fruitful session for us, with three out of the four potential options trading targets we mentioned in our premarket report yielding some good intraday opportunities. No one can win them all, but it’s come to the point where missing on any of our ideas is a relative rarity for us, as any of our regular readers can attest.

Yesterday’s winning items of interest included the BABA Weekly $93-95 Calls, the MKC 04/21 $75-80 Calls, and the PVH 04/21 $80-85 Calls, with the BABA Calls providing the clearest path to big time profits. Here’s the breakdown of yesterday’s activity in these plays:

4 Fresh Earnings-Related Options Plays

Solid Options Review:

Things have gone rather well for us so far this week, with respect to our daily options targets. We had another good session on Tuesday, wherein each of the weekly sets of contracts we signaled interest in tracking, produced intraday upswings of a significant magnitude. We had one longer-term play on ALC which did not experience a big move, but we will likely be coming back to it sometime in the weeks ahead prior to its expiration.

The selections we made with weekly expirations, however, did post some good single-session rips. They were the TSLA Weekly $207.50-210 Calls, the ZM Weekly $76-78 Calls, and the WDAY Weekly $187.50-182.50 Puts, and here’s the breakdown of the kind of profits that were on the table for traders on Tuesday:

TSLA Weekly $207.50-210 Calls

_____

WDAY Weekly $187.50-182.50 Puts

Big Play Wednesday:

Perhaps some of our newer readers thought we were exaggerating in yesterday morning’s report, when we mentioned how common it is for us sweep the board perfectly with our daily options plays. They wouldn’t have been under the wrong impression for very long, and yet again, all four of the selections we made in the premarket went on to make big moves.

We were on the bearish side of the fence with all of them, which were the SPY 01/25 $398-396 Puts, the BA Weekly $210-205 Puts, the MSFT Weekly $240-235 Puts, and the NEE 02/17 $80-77.50 Puts.  With the markets gapping down and sliding in the first hour, we were able to see the following ranges and total possible profits from these ideas:
