ARO, RMTI, PHOT & Extended Watchlist

Aeropostale, Inc. ARO

At the beginning of August, ARO began to experience a substantial sell-off that would cause the stock to fall from the $15-range to less than $8 at the beginning of this month. We are standing at the ready this morning as we’ve observed some northward pre-market trading, with shares changing hands for as much as 10.13. The significant gaps on the chart being filled could provide not only opportunities on the stock side of things, but in the trading of options contracts as well.

The 10/19 $9.00 Calls are of particular interest to us; Closing at .35 yesterday, and with this morning’s gap-up activity, these calls could open up as much as 100%  In that event, we would be looking for a consolidation before getting our feet wet.

Rockwell Medical, Inc. RMTI

RMTI would make a nice intraday move for us after its appearance in yesterday’s morning report, running from a low of 8.75 and reaching its peak at 11.80, good enough for a 35% gain.

Following the high, the stock came back as low as 9.85. Moving we are looking for the stock to hold support at its previous swing low of 8.75. In the meantime the company released an encouraging PR today announcing the completion of an important step in getting a new kidney drug to market, that appears to be contributing to yet another gap-up situation today.

WIXOM, MI–(Marketwired – Sep 17, 2013) – Rockwell Medical (NASDAQ: RMTI), a fully-integrated biopharmaceutical company targeting end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) with innovative products and services for the treatment of iron deficiency, secondary hyperparathyroidism and hemodialysis, today announced the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) accepted the proposed proprietary trade name Trifericfor the Company’s investigational iron-delivery drug, previously known as Soluble Ferric Pyrophosphate (SFP), which is intended for treating iron deficiency in chronic kidney disease patients receiving hemodialysis. A request for proprietary name review for Trifericwill be filed with the New Drug Application (NDA) submission.>>>FULL STORY

GroLife, Inc. PHOT

We had another gainer in PHOT yesterday, as the stock jumped from .046 to .061, affording us the opportunity at a 33% intraday rip. Since 08/30 when we re-mentioned PHOT, it has been as low as .0318, which makes yesterday’s high a move of 93%

For almost a year now, we’ve placed a strong focus on marijuana-related stocks, publishing several reports, and doing the most recent followup at the end of August. The industry has, and we believe, will continue to bring us profits in the future. It’s for that reason we suggest everyone keep a marijuana stock watchlist of their own. We have only just begun to realize the potential for this up-and-coming sector, which is certain to be a high-growth area for years to come.

Extended Watchlist:
AGEN, NBS, BCRX, RGDO, SUTR, DNDN, MATR, SD

BEAT, GRPR, INO, IWEB & Extended Watchlist

BioTelemetry, Inc. BEAT

After appearing on yesterday morning’s extended watchlist, BEAT went on a run that would take it from it’s early morning low of 6.40, to a strong close at 7.56, just a few pennies below the 7.59 high-of-day. A total intraday gain of 19% was made possible, an exemplary single-session move for a NASDAQ stock trading at over 5.00/share.

With the momentum we observed into the close, BEAT is a candidate for further gains, if it can maintain a base of support at or above previous resistance around 7.00.

Grid Petroleum Corp. GRPR

Another gainer to come off of the morning watchlist yesterday was GRPR, which in the first half hour of trading, would make a move from .0013 to as high as .002, representing a rapid move of 54%

Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. INO

We’ve been following INO all summer long, and it has not been a source of disappointment. Beginning with the addition of the stock to our extended watchlist on June 14th, at which time INO was trading as low as .645. By July 1st, it had hit a dollar. Yesterday, we saw a new high of 2.20, which equates to an increase of 242% from our original mention.

Yesterday we had IWEB back on watch, attempting to anticipate a reversal from its recent consolidation, and our timing once again proved to be extremely accurate. After opening at .026, the stock was able to break back above three cents, trading for as much as .0327. That intraday move works out to 26% on just under twice the 3mo. average volume.

Since we first began talking about IWEB on July 9th, the stock has presented us with cumulative gains approaching 150%

As we go forward, we’d like to see the RSI continue to hold above the 50-line, and support hold above the 50DMA at .0272. Key resistance points are recent swing highs of .0355 and .04.

July was a busy month for the company, as it added several new clients, and made a good deal of progress toward its goal of becoming a full-service cloud computing provider:

IWEB, BCRX & Extended Watchlist

IceWEB, Inc. IWEB

We’re still focusing on IWEB after it turned in another solid session yesterday. The stock managed to close at .033, holding most of the gains from the most recently observed spike on slightly greater-than-average volume.

Maintaining support at that level was an important step in getting past current resistance at .0355, which as we mentioned in yesterday’s report, will allow the stock some breathing room and hopefully kickstart the next significant move on the chart.

In addition to a continuation of recent trends on the chart, we’ll be on the lookout for the effects of both the start of another round of shareholder awareness, and some new press out this morning.

Before we take a look at today’s press release, which outlines two of IceWEB’s new clients, we’ve uploaded a video presentation of the IWEB chart for your convenience:

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. BCRX

BCRX enabled us to register gains for the second consecutive day after appearing yesterday’s morning report. Following early-morning low of 3.29, the stock rose fairly steadily over the course of the day to eventually cap off a 43% intraday run at it’s high of 4.72.

BCRX traded nearly 13X its 3mo. average volume, and held the majority of the day’s gains into the close, thus we will want to monitor the stock today for a continuation of that impressive momentum.

From the low following our initial call (2.83) on BCRX which came in Monday morning’s report, yesterday’s 4.72 high represented a possible gain of 67%
