Blue Horseshoe Stocks: INSY Recap & More

INSYS Therapeutics, Inc. INSY

As we were just mentioning yesterday morning, we’ve been tracking the INSY 01/19 $8 and $9 Calls since Wednesday morning.

After Friday’s session brought us some solid gains, we mentioned that we could be in line to see an extension to those moves, and that we’d look to roll up our strike price to the $10-level if the stock held above its premarket low of  9.75, which it did with no problem.

We were able to see some nice extensions to the highs we had already observed in the $8 and $9 Calls, and as a nice move on the $10’s as well. We’ve now witnessed the $8 Calls run from .90-3.20, for a gain of 255%, while the $9’s have gone up from .60 to 2.70, which works out to a 350% run. Excellent gains were there for the taking on the $10 Calls as well, as they ran from .70-1.80 on the day, a 157% rip.

A play on the stock alone from the low on Wednesday following our initial alert at  7.64, to yesterday’s high of 11.62, would have been good for gains of up to 52%and the stock has trended even higher in the premarket this morning, so we’ll be on the lookout for this party to possibly keep rolling.

Pot Stock Updates

We’d also like to swing back around to provide updates for a couple of our favorite cannabis plays. Back on November 7th, we reminded our readers of what a big year 2018 was gearing up to be for the marijuana business. We included a list of cannabis plays to watch closely, and among them was ACBFF and TRTC. Two stocks that we’ve been tracking for years.

Neither one has gone any lower since November, and in fact each have gone on to make some fantastic moves in the last 7 weeks. The excellent gains made available by these plays were as follows:

Aurora Cannabis, Inc. ACBFF –  Range: 2.7776-9.50 – Max Gain: 242%

Terra Tech Corp. TRTC – Range: .1885-.578 – Max Gain: 207%

There;s not going to be any slowdown in our tenacity to cover cannabis stocks as we progress into the new year. California kicked off legal recreational sales this week, and Canada will do so in just six short months. 2018 is set to be a very green year!

Extended Watchlist:
AMD, APDN, BCRX, NSPR, RGSE, INPX

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PZRX Review & More

PhaseRx, Inc. PZRX

It seems like most of the big runners we’ve caught up with in recent weeks have been pharma plays of one type or another, and that trend continued yesterday. PZRX was the standout performer from our premarket watchlist, trading in a rather impressive range throughout essentially the entire session.

The stock saw an early low of .82, and surged continuously up to a high of  1.55 roughly an hour before the close. It worked out to an intraday swing of 89% and came on fantastic liquidity, with more than 43X the monthly average volume flowing through the PZRX.

The stock closed with strength in the high 1.20’s and is inching back into the 1.30’s in the premarket. The move was catalyzed by the company’s 2nd drug development candidate, PRX-ASL, for the treatment of ASLD, a rare liver disorder, has received orphan drug status by the FDA. (>>View PR)

.We’ll continue to track its activity and look for higher lows and higher highs as we head into week’s end.

Iconic Brands, Inc. ICNB

We tagged ICNB as a bottom-watch play early in the week, and have begun to see the rebound that we were looking for.

We subsequently observed a low of .0058, and yesterday with the stock reaching .008, it marked an intraweek swing of 38% Once again, we’ll be looking for the establishment of higher highs and higher lows in forthcoming sessions.

SeaDrill Ltd. SDRL

Speaking of excellent bottom calls, we’ve had an even better one in SDRL. We highlighted this one in our report last Wednesday, after which time we observed the stock at a low of .22. Yesterday it attained a .62 high, representing an upswing of 182% over the span of just a few sessions. Once more, we’ll be looking out for a more sustained recovery

Anadarko Petroleum Corp. APC

We want to put a few sets of options contracts from the APC chain on watch today after noticing the annoucement of a massive share buyback program by the company to the tune of $2.5B, effectively reducing the number of outstanding shares by 10%

The stock has tested an area of recent resistance as a result in premarket trading. We’re going to radar the APC 09/29 $47-48.50 Calls, and watch them into next week.

Extended Watchlist:
VEON, BCRX, ITUS, EGO, ESNC, ABUS, BSTI

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: IDXG Recap & More

Interpace Diagnostics Group, Inc. IDXG

We last talked about IDXG on the 16th of last month. (Please excuse us for being currently unable to provide the link to that report like we normally would, as our primary servers are located in Houston, and our service provider is still recovering in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.) Subsequent to that mention, we observed a low of .72 in IDXG, and the run we’ve seen has been pretty impressive.

Yesterday the stock hit 1.73, which represents a 140% increase, and the stock closed with strength just below its high of day, so we’ll be interested to see if there will be further gains in store. The key for IDXG will be to maintain above the NASDAQ minimum bid requirement of a dollar per share on any pullbacks.

Insmed, Inc. INSM – Options Update

We highlighted our interest in a set of options for INSM in yesterday’s report to try to take advantage of the flux in activity caused by the company’s positive Phase III results on its rare lung disease treatment study.

We saw the beginnings of what could be a good idea that we’ll want to continue tracking in the INSM 09/15 $27-30 Calls. The $27’s we’re the only ones that were pushed into the money, and they did manage an intraday run from a low of .95 to 1.60 for a 68% swing on the day. We’ll continue to keep an eye on these contracts if INSM can manage to record higher lows over the next few sessions.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BBY Options, XTRN Recap & More

Las Vegas Railway Express XTRN – Update

As we were just mentioning yesterday, a member of our daily live trader’s chat* allowed participants to snag gains of up to 300% on Tuesday as XTRN ran from .0003-.0012.

We also noted the immense volume flowing through the stock, along with a bullish close and suggested that a continuation of momentum was possible. Sure enough XTRN followed up one strong session with another, trading in an intraday range from a low of .001 and reaching as high as .0027, which works out to an intraday run of 260%

That is certainly a premium single-session gain opportunity that was available to all of our subscribers, but chatroom members* could have had a shot at the full two-day swing, which comes out to an incredible 800%

XTRN received an offer to be bought out and merge with XREE, another ‘X-Train’ company that runs scenic train tours, so we’ll be interested to see how that situation plays out.

Best Buy Co. Inc. BBY – Options Idea

Post-earnings options ideas for high-profile companies have produced some of the biggest gains that we come across, so we want to formulate one for BBY today. A unexpectedly strong Q1 release has catapulted the stock here in the premarket where it has touched eleven-year highs.

We are going to be very interested to track BBY Weekly $55-58 Calls for potential swing trades, especially if the stock behaves predictably and executes an early dip-and-rip.

_____

Bonus Idea – Abercrombie & Fitch Co. ANF

ANF posted a mixed earnings release, beating on sales but taking a heavy loss for Q1. Still, the markets as a whole seem bullish, and ANF is gapping up moderately in the premarket. We’ll be looking at the ANF Weekly $13 & $13.50 Calls.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Kicking Off the Short Week

Netflix Inc. NFLX – Options Update

We hope all of our readers enjoyed the long holiday weekend! Our first order of business this morning is to provide an update on Friday’s options trading idea. We signaled our interest in tracking the NFLX Weekly $93.50-95.50 Calls for potential daytrades, and every one of the contracts within our targeted range allowed for multi-bag single-session gains.

$93.50 Calls – Range: 1.47-3.22 – Max Gain: 119%
$94 Calls – Range: 1.16-2.75 – Max Gain: 137%
$94.50 Calls – Range: .97-2.50 – Max Gain: 158%
$95 Calls – Range: .57-2.00 – Max Gain: 251%
$95.50 Calls – Range: .31-1.53 – Max Gain: 394%

We always issue the same warning when we submit a weekly options idea on a Friday, stating that it is very high-risk. While that is true, the high reward factor like we saw here is what keeps us interested in this sort of options trading.

More Updates

Lot78, Inc. LOTE – This was one of a pair of stocks we tagged for observation in Thursday morning’s premarket report, which finished off the week on a strong note. From a low of .0037, it surged to .0063 toward the end of the session. It closed at that high of day, having made an intraday jump of 70%

We’ll remain interested in LOTE moving forward provided it can maintain support at or above the .0046 level.

______

GreenGro Technologies, Inc. GRNH – This is a stock that we’ve literally mentioned dozens of times in the past. Most recently was on Thursday, at which time we witnessed the stock trading at a nickel. Friday, it managed to reach .07, an overnight increase of 40%

We’ll also leave this on our radars going forward to watch for signs of a continued uptrend.

SAExplorations Holdings, Inc. SAEX

We’re going to be keeping an eye on SAEX, which raised flags on Friday with a hearty 70% bounce off of its 52-week low, established on Thursday.

Whenever we see stocks in this position, we’re interested in the possibility of taking advantage of the volatility and possible recovery. A return to even the current 50DMA of .48, where the stock was trading merely a week ago, would spell double-bag gains from current PPS levels.
