Blue Horseshoe Stocks: CRGP Recap & More

Calissio Resources Group, Inc. CRGP

Amidst one of the biggest market backslides in years, we were still able to root out a triple-digit gainer from among the chaos. We tagged CRGP in our premarket extended watchlist as a momentum play based on the activity it recorded at the end of last week.

CRGP had enough strength and interest from the trading community to barrel its way from a daily low of .005, cracking through the elusive penny-mark, and setting a high-of-day at .0118. That represents an intraday pop of 136%, and it happened in conjunction with more than 9X the 3-month average volume of shares changing hands on the day.

Following its nice run, the stock pulled back to .0059 into the close, and we will be on the lookout for the possibility that it needs to come back a bit further to fill the gap on the chart from Friday’s close of .0045. So it’s from that level that we’ll look for possible bounce-play opportunities, should CRGP continue to consolidate.

Options Review

With the volatility caused by current market conditions, there was money to be made on both sides of the fence over the course of the day with the general options ideas we offered in our morning report, which were SPY In-the-Money Puts, and UVXY Calls. Here’s an idea of the kind of gains that those selections made available during yesterday’s session:

SPY $190 Puts – Range: 1.48-5.34 – Max Gain: 260%
UVXY $49 Calls – Range: 7.21-19.00 – Max Gain: 164%

We expect the current market to continue to provide similar action and chances for gain, but we wouldn’t expect to see it occur with quite the same volatile conditions as yesterday.

We’ll be looking to go long on big-name options whose stocks have been beaten back severely over the past few sessions. As the market corrects itself, we’ll be monitoring some longer-term options to possibly take advantage of the eventual recovery.

To allot sufficient time for us to see that, we’ll be tracking 09/18-10/02 Calls in the FB, GPRO, GMCR, AAPL, NFLX, and TSLA chains. We’ve banked enormous profits off of every one of these in the past; it’s now just a matter of laying in wait for the next big chances to present themselves.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Bottom-Play Watchlist & More

Mobile Broadcasting Holding, Inc. MBHC

We began taking a look at MBHC yesterday, mostly focusing upon the strong additions to management, and the extreme promise pertaining to the company’s news of a global deal signed with Twitter. We did however, publish a video highlighting some of the key points on the chart, and that’s what we’re going to focus on to start things off today.

The stock would make a handful of intraday moves on almost twice the monthly average volume. Early on we saw a run from .0042-.0057 (+36%), followed by two separate subsequent swings from .0041-.0053 (+29%).

Most importantly the stock recorded a higher low,  holding support above 50DMA of .004 as we’d hoped for, and we want to continue to see it maintained above that level.  Moving forward, we’ll be looking out for a breach of the resistance that cropped up at .006 .

Stocks on Bottom-Watch

The following four plays have been getting beat up pretty bad of late, and whenever we notice stocks in this position, we like to relegate them to a potential bottom-play watchlist. Some of the biggest rapid moves we witness come from course-correction related bounces, so we’ll have these stocks on our recovery watchlist moving forward:

Stragenics, Inc. ASAB

Blue Water Global Group, Inc. BLUU

Windstream Technologies, Inc. WSTI – Letter To Shareholders

Cafe Serendipity Holdings, Inc. CAFS – Recreational Marijuana News Out

B2Digital, Inc. BTDG

BTDG is a momentum-play that we’re going to be monitoring as we head into mid-week, and we’ve gone ahead and pointed out the reasoning behind this on the following chart snapshot. Yesterday brought a break of a key resistance point and with a number of other bullish indicators are leading us to give BTDG part of our attention.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: LFAP, GPRO Recaps & More

LifeApps Digital Media, Inc. LFAP

Our timing in alerting LFAP in yesterday’s premarket report honestly couldn’t have been any better. The stock had fallen to a new 52-week low in the previous session, and we caught it on our news scanner with a PR which highlighted the launch of the company’s Apple Healthkit-Enabled App For iOS.

The coincidence of those two events provided a springboard for the stock, which opened at its daily low of .0027 and served up the chance at a double-bagger as it surged 100% to .0054. That was followed by a short recession to .0035, and rebound back to a high of .0047, tacking on an extra 34% spike.

Cheers go out to any of our readers who were able to take advantage of this timely call!

GoPro, Inc. GPRO – Options

GPRO turned out to be one of the better options trading calls we made this week. Yesterday we mentioned that as a result of a big gap up on earnings, we’d be on the lookout for potential plays in the range of Weekly $49-51.50 Calls.

The price action on GPRO as the stock predictably performed a dip-and-rip maneuver on the chart, provided a couple of swing opportunities in each set of contracts in our targeted range. For example:

The $49 Calls shot up 61% from 3.10 to 5.00 in the first 15 minutes of trading, and dipped back to a low of 2.40 before rebounding as high as 4.50, adding another 87% swing.

The $51.50’s first ran from 1.30-2.75 gaining 112%, and followed that up with a pullback to .92 before returning to 2.16 (+135%)

Each set of contracts between those low and high ends of our selected range ($49.50, $50, $50.50, & $51’s) also served up opportunities with similar price action and possible gains for traders.

Added Notes:

We picked up on a couple of stocks with fresh PRs out this morning that also happen to be coming up off of recent lows. As LFAP decisively proved yesterday, this has the potential to create the conditions necessary for rapid gains. We’ll have both of these on our radars as the session kicks off:

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options, Bottom-Plays & More

GoPro, Inc. GPRO – Options

GPRO’s Q1 earnings beat on revenue and profits causing quite a surge in PPS. Yesterday the stock traded up from the $45-range to the $47-range, and this morning we’re observing a sizable gap-up, as GPRO has already changed hands for as much as 53.54 in the premarket.

In the midst of all this, we’ll be on the lookout for chances with GPRO Weekly Calls, most likely in the range from $49-51.50, with our strike price being dependent upon where the stock ultimately finds support off of this morning’s early highs.

It would fulfill a classic dip-and-rip scenario which by now, as our regular readers are well aware, is one of our favorite chart setups.

Windstream Holdings, Inc. WIN

We also want to point out the nice intraday move made by WIN following its inclusion in yesterday’s extended watchlist. The stock briefly touched a morning low of 10.71, before running 22% to a high of 13.05 on just under 4X its 3-month average volume.

The move came on the heels of upgrades for the stock from a number of Wall St. analysts, and over at one of our favorite data reference sites, BARCHART.COM, GPRO is currently receiving an 80% Short-Term “Buy” Rating.

LifeApps Digital Media, Inc. LFAP

LFAP is a potential subpenny bottom-play that is catching our attention this morning, and we wanted to pass it along to our readers. We’re always on the lookout for stocks trading at or near their 52-week lows, and not only does this one fit that bill, but the company also released some interesting news this morning.

At this price-point and in this situation, there’s always a chance for a nice rebound to provide quality opportunities for quick-strike trades.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Ideas, Bottom-Bouncer & More

 New Options Ideas

The Priceline Group, Inc. PCLN– It was just last week that we successfully targeted PCLN Calls in the $1065-1085 area, and already the stock has hurtled its way to its highest PPS levels since September. In this morning’s premarket the stock has traded as high $1225.75.

For a possible day-trade opportunities this week, we’re going to keep an eye on Weekly PCLN Calls in the $1180-1225 range, provided the stock can maintain support at or above $1175 on any pullbacks.

Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals, Inc. TTPH – TTPH is another morning gapper that we’re going to be transfixed upon this morning. In the midst of a ‘Superbug’ outbreak in California which is one of today’s top-reported headlines, TTPH, which is developing an antibiotic to combat these types of drug-resistant pathogens has become the subject of potential buyout rumors.

We’re going to monitor the TTPH $40 Calls for another possible short-term target as we head into the end of this holiday-shortened trading week.

Longer-term Ideas

In addition to the preceding short-term plays, we also have a couple of  ideas for longer-term opportunities with GoPro, Inc. GPRO and Garmin, GRMN. Both stocks have seen significant pullbacks this week, and are showing symptoms of a possible rebound in the premarket with slight gap-ups.

We will want to radar March 20th GPRO $47 and $48 Calls (Closed at 2.50 and 2.08, respectively).

For GRMN we’ll be monitoring the March 20th $52.50 and $55 Calls (Closed at .76 and .30, respectively).

Atheranova, Inc. AHRO

We also want to tag AHRO this morning as a potential bottom-bouncer. The stock recently fell off of a cliff, and yesterday began to rebound off its newly-established 52-week lows.

We always keep our eyes peeled for stocks in this position, as we have used them to our advantage time and time again.

Angie’s List, Inc. ANGI

ANGI was a point of focus on yesterday’s extended watchlist, as well as a topic of discussion in our trading chatroom*. The stock made a big move from 6.45-7.80, a 21% intraday spike.

The accompanying options idea we floated in our chatroom* yesterday were the March $7.50 Calls,. which made a significant move from .25-.85, and will continue to garner our attention moving forward.
