Blue Horseshoe Stocks: RXMD Recap

Nxt-ID, Inc. NXTD

We most recently mentioned NXTD a couple of weeks ago on February 12th, following a long period of consolidation off of the massive run we observed back in December. The stock seemed to be settling down at a bottom, and indeed, it reached its low of 2.00 the very next day.

After a bit of sideways trading NXTD has awakened in a big way on the heels of a key development coming over the newswires (see snippet below). Already in the premarket, it has risen by 100% since our alert, hitting 4.00 in early trading.

In addition to the stock itself, we’re also going to place a couple of contracts in the NXTD options chain in watch, the NXTD 03/16 $2.50 & $5 Calls.

Discover Financial Services and FitPay, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of NXT-ID, Inc., today announced a network services agreement to allow devices that are integrated with the FitPay Payment Platform[TM] to provision tokenized payment credentials through Discover® Digital Exchange (DDX). The agreement enables Discover cardholders, along with alliance partner cards, to easily make contactless payment transactions at retail locations with wearable or Internet of Things (IoT) devices that include payment capabilities powered by FitPay[TM] (>>View Full PR)

Progressive Care, Inc. RXMD

We initially flagged RXMD in Thursday’s premarket report after noticing the amount of momentum that had been building up in the stock recently. It managed to finish out the week sustaining that momentum and continuing to head into blue skies, setting a new 52-week high with each uptick.

From Thursday morning’s low of .0663, the stock attained a high of .0979 which workes out to a two day swing of 48% and stand as the highest PPS recorded since 2013.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Big Options Success & More

Huge Options Success

We went all-in on the options front on Friday, with both of our primary focal points being high-risk options plays, and the rewards were considerable. Both sets of ideas turned out to be successful, regardless of the strike prices chosen.

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd BABA – On Friday morning, we were just patting ourselves on the back for Thursday’s successful alert of the BABA Weekly $162.50-170 Calls which had provided some nice gain opportunities on the order of 119-311% Those figures were nice, but they paled in comparison to Friday’s performances. We did specify that we’d want to “continue to keep our eye on these plays to close out the week, as further increases are a possibility.”

“Further increases” may be the understatement of the year. Explosions would have been a more accurate term! Our highlighted range actually contained an ultra-rare FIFTY-bagger, so anyone who had been following our BABA options coverage had a chance to make a mint!

$244.50 Calls – Range: 2.00 – 6.95   – Max Gain: 247%
$245 Calls – Range: .53-4.41 – Max Gain: 732%
$245.50 Calls – Range: .10-2.18 – Max Gain: 2980%
$246 Calls – Range: .01-.51 – Max Gain: 5000%

_____

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc  WMT – Our other options focus from Friday was for Walmart, with the WMT Weekly $79.50 & $80 Calls. An early run by the stock created the necessary volatility to push our ideas to multi-bag status inside of the first hour.

The $79.50 Calls were the big winner there, running from .19-.86 for an intraday pop of 353% The $80’s weren’t too far behind with a solid push from .15-.46; a gain of 207%

China Information Technology Inc. CNIT

We saw a wave of increased activity in several China-based plays on Friday, and CNIT is one among them that seems worthy for observation as we kick off another trading week this morning.

We like the chart setup- the stock had a really solid run from May to June after which there was a consolidation, and has recently been showing strength off of its established support in the mid-.80’s. There was also a recent bullish breach of the 50DMA.

The company will need to get and keep its shares above $1.00 to satisfy NASDAQ’s minimum bid requirements, and we think there’s a fair chance of that happening.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TROV Recap & More

TrovaGene, Inc. TROV

We wanted to swing back around this morning for a stock that we mentioned on Monday of last week. We said we’d want to have it on watch in later sessions, as the company had just released news of a service agreement with pharma giant AstraZeneca.

There was a slight pullback off of the initial spike that the announcement caused that day, and TROV found support at a low of .85. This morning the stock has reached as high as 1.35 in the premarket, which marks a rise of 59% over the lows we observed last week.

We want to continue to keep an eye on TROV and see it make higher highs and higher lows. If the stock can hold at or above previous resistance at 1.20 on any pullbacks, it’ll be a positive signal.

Marathon Patent Group, Inc. MARA

Hitting our radars as a bottom-bouncer this morning is MARA, which popped up yesterday with its first significantly bullish session in quite some time. It had been pretty well oversold for months, as you can see on the accompanying chart snapshot.

We’ll be interested to see if MARA can put together a multi-day trend, or if yesterday’s move was an aberration. The first step will be a breach of the current 50DMA at .40, which also coincides with an an area of considerable previous resistance.

_____

Highway Holdings Ltd. HIHO – Another potential bottom play we wanted to quickly point out this morning is HIHO. We’ve noticed that the stock has come up off of a double-bottom formation and has been holding support well at the 3.30 level over the past few sessions. We’ll look for it to continue to do so.
