Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Review & More

Walmart, Inc. WMT

At the top of our report yesterday was an idea we formulated for the WMT options chain, the WMT 03/16 $90-93 Calls. WMT stock had been under pressure in the previous two sessions, and we got the start of the rebound we were looking for.

We’ll want to see that trend confirmed today with the registering of higher highs and higher lows, but as it stands, here are the gains that our idea yielded on the first day.

$90 Calls – Range: 2.70-3.90 – Max Gain: 44%
$91 Calls – Range: 2.30-3.20 – Max Gain: 39%
$92 Calls – Range: 1.78-2.56 – Max Gain: 44%
$92.50 Calls – Range: 1.62-2.26 – Max Gain: 40%
$93 Calls – Range:1.39-2.00 – Max Gain: 43%

.
Avis Budget Group, Inc. CAR

We also said we were going to look for opportunities in the CAR 03/16 $42-44 Calls yesterday morning, and those got off to a good start as well. After gapping up considerably, the stock continued to run, facilitating the following intraday moves on our first day of observation.

$42 Calls – Range: 2.80-3.90 – Max Gain: 39%
$43 Calls – Range: 2,21-3.11 – Max Gain: 41%
$44 Calls – Range: 1.70-2.60 – Max Gain: 53%

Based on the premarket activity we’re observing this morning, we’d expect CAR to extend its gains, and see further increases in these contracts.

Progressive Care, Inc. RXMD

We also had RXMD in yesterday’s premarket report via our Extended Watchlist, and saw some good first day activity there as well. It caught our eye because of the huge run it had already previously been building up. We thought we could ride the wave, and it worked out nicely.

The stock traded up from a low of .0663, and went as high as .086, for a move of 30% on the day, and being in blue skies at the moment, there’s no telling when this ride will let up.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: This Week’s Big Runners

Marijuana Company of America, Inc. MCOA

As a part of our general focus on marijuana related stocks, we’ve been hot on the trail of MCOA, first bringing it into the mix early last month (at a low of .0094) and keeping it the conversation all through this week as its gains have gone exponential.

Leading into yesterday’s report, we had already witnessed a move of more than 500% and the stock followed that up with yet another stellar performance on the day. It traded up a solid 70% from a low of .072 to a new high of .1225.

That means that a stock we signaled for observation one month ago tomorrow, went from subpenny and smashed through the dime barrier, which definitely isn’t something you see every day! Neither is a twelve-bagger of any kind, yet the overall run we’ve seen from MCOA in four weeks now amounts to 1203%

Cannabics, Inc. CNBX

CNBX is of course another pot play that we jumped on early last month when we began heavily urging our readers to take heed of the second Green Rush that we’re currently experiencing, and we’ve stuck with it consistently. Subsequent to our report on October 5th we saw it trading for as little as .06, and the epic run it has mounted since then has taken it past the elusive dollar barrier!

Yesterday it posted another nice intraday move going from .75 to 1.12 (+52%) and measuring from that six-cent low, it equates to a remarkable overall run of 1766%

Medical Marijuana, Inc. MJNA

At this point there are so many huge performers in the cannabis space that it’s beginning to become difficult to keep up with all the winners, but we need to take a minute to update our readers on MJNA, which is a play we’ve followed for years.

Like many other pot stocks, it has enjoyed a huge rush of upward movement in recent weeks. We tagged it in our report on September 23rd, saw a low of .04, and yesterday, in a session with absolutely enormous dollar volume, it hit .23. A hefty 475% move has been the result, and as we keep saying, with elections coming in just a few days and medical and recreational marijuana on several ballots, all of these cannabis stocks could still stand to make big swings to the upside.

Galenfeha, Inc. GLFH

Speaking of multi-day runners, starting on Monday morning, we’ve been steadily tracking GLFH through what has been a series of solid daily increases that have amounted to a fairly impressive 3-day run.

As we’ve stated previously, GLFH is a low-volume, low-float play that doesn’t need a whole lot in the way of buying pressure to effect appreciable upward momentum, and we’ve certainly seen that dynamic exemplified.

Yesterday, the stock traded in a range from a low of .0429 on up to a new high of .057, for a daily advance of 33% and a total increase of 119% over our observed low from Monday (.026). In the event of a dip, we’d ideally like to see it maintain support at the 200DMA of .0498. Failing that, we’ll remain interested as long as it doesn’t fall below our witnessed low.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Earnings-Related Options Ideas

Earnings-Related Options Ideas

We’ve uncharacteristically neglected the options trading arena a bit this week, so this morning we’re going to start off by signaling a range of Calls in the chains of a couple stocks whose earnings have just been released.

Tesla Motors Corp. TSLA – Despite a miss on earnings released yesterday post-market, we’re seeing TSLA rebounding from its week-long slide in premarket trading this morning.

We’ll go ahead and formulate a conditional idea to correspond to the situation. Stipulating that the stock can hold support above the current 200DMA (225.98) on any pullbacks following the opening bell and break back above the 50DMA, we’re going to be monitoring the activity in TSLA Weekly $225-230 Calls for the possibility of some nice intraday upswing action.

_____

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. BABA – In early trading BABA is gapping up after an earnings beat this morning which included a 39% boost in Q4 revs, and a 42% monthly rise in active usership via mobile platforms.

We’re going to signal a range of short-term calls for this play as well, zeroing in on the BABA Weekly $77-81 Calls for potential quick-strike trades.

Pot Stocks on Watch Again

There has been a lot of ebb and flow to general interest in cannabis plays, and it appears that we’re heading into another hot zone. We keep a continual watch over the entire sector, and there has been rising activity in many of the pot stocks that we track routinely.

The usual suspects to which we are referring are GRNH, MJNA, CBIS, TRTC, & CANV. We’ll be sure to keep each of them on closer watch in the sessions ahead.

Added Note:

xG Technology, Inc. XGTI, which we tracked from a low of .08 late last month and have been mentioning all this week, is seeing another early push today in the wake of some patent news(>>View PR) . Reserve a slot on your radars as the stock has reached a new high of .18 in the premarket today.
