Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BIg Day for WB & More

Weibo Corp. WB – Options Recap

We decided to track WB on the heels of its earnings beat yesterday and formulated a range of call contracts that we thought would see some nice activity as a result. Post-earnings options ideas are among our favorite types of plays, and WB serves as another example of why we’re always coming back to that well.

We signaled the WB Weekly $67.50-70 Calls, and with the exception of the $68.50’s and $69’s which didn’t trade a lot of volume, we saw some killer single-session moves from the other four contracts in our highlighted range:

$67.50 Calls – Range: .70-10.78 – Max Gain: 1440%
$68 Calls – Range: 4.40-10.80 – Max Gain: 145%
$69.50 Calls – Range: 1.50-7.80 – Max Gain: 420%
$70 Calls – Range: 1.30-8.90 – Max Gain: 584%

Target Corp. TGT – Fresh Idea

Weibo was our fresh idea for yesterday, and today we’ve got another set of ideas to enter into the mix today with TGT.

Based purely on the look of the chart, this morning’s earnings notwithstanding, we’re attracted to the massive gap to fill to the upside, part of which has begun to fill as TGT is gapping up in the premarket.

We’re interested to follow progress on a range of both short and longer-term ideas, namely the TGT Weekly $57-59 Calls, as well as the TGT 06/23 $60-62 Calls. .

xG Technology , Inc. XGTI

We tagged XGTI for observation yesterday morning, and the stock did make a modest move of 24%, trading up from a low of 1.72 to 2.14 on the day.

While not an eye-popping move in and of itself, it did occur on massive volume, on the order of roughly 70X the 30-day average, and this morning in the premarket the stock has hit a new high of 2.19. We’ll definitely be on the lookout for a continuation of the momentum that is built up in this stock.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: DRYS Historic Run & More

Dry Ships, Inc. DRYS – Update

We thought DRYS was a prime play on Monday morning when we included the stock in our watchlist, and even after seeing an incredible gain of 215% that first day and reiterating our interest yesterday morning, nothing could have prepared us for the epic run-up that has followed.

The chances of ever catching a stock in the $13-range and watching it surge to over $100 in a matter of two sessions are razor thin to say the least, but the fantastic performance of DRYS (and indeed, the shipping sector as a whole) this week has delivered it right to our doorstep.

Yesterday the stock extended its gains by trading in a range from 45.47 to 102.00, marking an intraday boost of 124% and an overall two-session jump amounting to 650% over Monday’s low of 13.60! Here we are for a third straight day, watching the stock gear up with strength in the premarket, indicating that even more gains could be on the immediate horizon.

We’ll also be in line to catch the eventual dip-and-rip that’s likely to occur when this historic run finally does peter out, and based on the volatility we’ve witnessed thus far, it stands to be quite significant when it does come to pass.

Subpenny Movers

Staying true to our modus operandi, which dictates that we spread our focus between big boards and penny stocks alike, we had a number of subpenny interests yesterday as well, and those also saw some nice moves.

Anchorage International Holdings Corp. AHCP –  This play started out as a subpenny in the morning, and finished it out in Pennyland, cracking the penny barrier as it ran from .006-.015 on the day. That works out to a single-session move of 150% on just over eight times the monthly average volume.

____

Bulova Technologies Group, Inc. BTGI – A modest yet notable swing was recorded by BTGI, as the stock ran from .00275 to .0038. That went down as a 38% pop, and came on absolutely massive volume, to the tune of more than 28X the monthly average.

____

ViaDerma, Inc. VDRM – Chatroom Call

Rounding out our subpenny package yesterday was a call that we made available in our daily traders chat. VDRM was as low as .0031 after we caught the news that it was getting into the marijuana space, and it ended up rallying all day to close at its high of .0073 (+135%).

We are always keeping our eyes and ears open for anything that could turn into the next big runner and we relay that information to our loyal followers anytime anything special comes across our trading desk after our premarket newsletters are published. Fresh Options Ideas

TGT had an earnings beat this morning, and BAC is down in the premarket after topping out yesterday on the heels of a vigorous run-up. We’ll go bullish on the former, and and bearish in the latter, in an attempt to leverage the current activity in our favor.

TGT Weekly $75-79 Calls

BAC Weekly $20.50-19.50 Puts

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: KGNX, HERO Recaps & More

KollagenX Corp. KGNX

We tagged KGNX in yesterday morning’s premarket report, and were met with a fantastic intraday gain opportunity from this subpenny runner that has brought us good chances to gain in the past. (We’d initially tagged it coming off of its 52-week lows in March)

Yesterday we observed a low of .00189 in the stock before it took off, running hard and reaching a high of .0037 shortly before 1PM. That marked an upswing of 96% on close to nine times the monthly average trading volume, and KGNX closed with enough strength (.003) to qualify it for further observation as a possible momentum play.

Hercules Offshore, Inc. HERO

Speaking of momentum, that was what led us to feature HERO in yesterday’s report. The stock had already strung together three consecutive sessions of building higher lows, and it continued that trend for us with a solid performance on the day.

HERO traded in a range from 1.52-1.99, a respectable rise of 31% and it did so on a little over three times the 3-month average volume. This morning we’re seeing a slight gap-up in HERO to a premarket high of 2.15, which extends our observed range to an overnight gain of 42% We’ll keep tracking this one for a potential continuation of momentum as well.

Fresh Options Idea

Target Corp. TGT – Target is tumbling in the premarket this morning on disappointing sales and Q2 guidance, leading us to submit a bearish idea for the stock’s options chain. We’re going to put TGT Weekly $69-65 Puts on our short-term radars today. We’ll remain interested in these contracts
