Blue Horseshoe Stocks: KGNX, HERO Recaps & More

KollagenX Corp. KGNX

We tagged KGNX in yesterday morning’s premarket report, and were met with a fantastic intraday gain opportunity from this subpenny runner that has brought us good chances to gain in the past. (We’d initially tagged it coming off of its 52-week lows in March)

Yesterday we observed a low of .00189 in the stock before it took off, running hard and reaching a high of .0037 shortly before 1PM. That marked an upswing of 96% on close to nine times the monthly average trading volume, and KGNX closed with enough strength (.003) to qualify it for further observation as a possible momentum play.

Hercules Offshore, Inc. HERO

Speaking of momentum, that was what led us to feature HERO in yesterday’s report. The stock had already strung together three consecutive sessions of building higher lows, and it continued that trend for us with a solid performance on the day.

HERO traded in a range from 1.52-1.99, a respectable rise of 31% and it did so on a little over three times the 3-month average volume. This morning we’re seeing a slight gap-up in HERO to a premarket high of 2.15, which extends our observed range to an overnight gain of 42% We’ll keep tracking this one for a potential continuation of momentum as well.

Fresh Options Idea

Target Corp. TGT – Target is tumbling in the premarket this morning on disappointing sales and Q2 guidance, leading us to submit a bearish idea for the stock’s options chain. We’re going to put TGT Weekly $69-65 Puts on our short-term radars today. We’ll remain interested in these contracts

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PVSP Update, PLUG News & More

Pervasip Corp. PVSP

For the second consecutive session, PVSP made higher highs and higher lows yesterday. We re-focused on this old favorite at the end of last week, and caught it trading at a low of .0014. After a solid session to close out the holiday-shortened week, we once again included it in our premarket report yesterday, and the stock kicked this week off on a strong note as well.

We observed a trading range from .0015 to .0021, a 40% intraday push, and an overall range of 50% over our observed low from Thursday.

The heathly activity on the chart can be attributed in part to last week’s acquisition news; PVSP now holds, through its newly-acquired subsidiary, a 60% stake in Denver-based distribution company servicing the hydroponic and indoor cannabis grow market>> Read PR

Plug Power, Inc. PLUG

Speaking of old favorites, PLUG has published a PR today which is standing out among this morning’s top news items, with a very promising announcement of their Q2 figures. Perhaps one of the most notable aspects; the company shipped more than twice as many of its GenDrive fuel cell units as it did in the previous quarter.

This news comes at an opportune time, with the stock having been undergoing a recent downtrend which culminated in the logging of a new 52-week low yesterday. We’re anxious to follow the activity after what is looking like a significant gap-up this morning, in what could turn into a noteworthy rebound-play.

LATHAM, N.Y., July 7, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Plug Power Inc. (PLUG), a leader in providing clean, reliable energy solutions, today highlighted strong fuel cell and hydrogen infrastructure shipments and installations in the second quarter of 2015 allowing for a record revenue quarter. The company is on track to achieve its previously announced 2015 financial targets. >> FULL PR

Prima BioMed, Ltd. PBMD

Also cropping up on our news scanner this morning is PBMD. It’s no secret that we’ve had an exceptional amount of success with various pharma plays this year, and this could be the next entry into that group.

This morning’s news suggests that the company’s flagship product, a metastatic breast cancer treatment, could be on the path to approval for European markets. The stock is trading at its lowest price since May.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA–(Marketwired – Jul 7, 2015) – Prima BioMed Ltd (ASX: PRR) (NASDAQ: PBMD) (“Prima” or the “Company”), a leading immuno-oncology company, is pleased to announce that it has received positive Scientific Advice from the European Medicines Agency (“EMA” or the “Agency”) on the development path for its lead product, IMP321 in metastatic breast cancer. >> FULL PR

Extended Watchlist:
ORMP, JDST, MDBX, KALO(Bottom-Watch), OCFN (Possible Momentum-Play)

CETV, PROW, TGRO, TSEM, ORMP, ARIA & Extended Watchlist

Central European Media Enterprises, Inc. CETV

We’ve been tracking CETV for quite some time now, having initially alerted the stock on May 10th following a routine Form-4 (Insider Trading) scan. We learned that a large block ($75M worth) of shares had just been purchased by none other than Time Warner, and took notice immediately. We observed the stock make a monster move of 147% before being subjected to a large gap-down (hit 52-week low @ 2.03) at the end of October.

We decided to re-alert the stock on November 13th, by which time it was trading as low as 2.12. Since then, it has been stair-stepping its way back up, having seen highs in the high 3.20’s last week. We’re looking for a breach of the 50 and 200DMA’s (3.48, 3.86 respectively), following which the filling of that large gap on the chart could result in further significant increases.

Progress Watch Corp. PROW

On Friday, we mentioned that we were looking for a break of a key resistance areat on PROW, the 200DMA residing in the .007’s, and the stock indeed surpassed and held above that mark into the close. After opening at .0065, PROW would see a subsequent high of .0098, an intraday run of 51% on more than 5x its 3mo. average volume.

We warned of PROW’s extremely tight share structure, which allows for significant increases on relatively small amounts of buying pressure. The stock demonstrated our point quite succinctly.

Tiger Oil & Energy, Inc. TGRO

Also appearing in Friday’s report was another of our recent favorites in TGRO, a stock which has afforded us ample opportunities in the two weeks that we’ve been tracking it. With our first alert coming exactly two weeks ago, the stock has run from a low .36, all the way up to 1.08, good for a mega-gain of 200%

For those who may have only caught Friday’s alert, there was still the chance to make up to 43% in profit from TGRO’s daily low of  .755 to the 1.08 high.

Extended Watchlist Winners

Friday’s Extended Watchlist also included a few choice picks that put up very respectable sessions to close out the week.

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. TSEM enjoyed a nice move of 26% trading in its daily range from 6.00 to 7.53.

Oramed Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ORMP spiked 36% running from 10.05 to 13.69.

ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ARIA has been an Extended Watchlist mainstay since Nov. 12th, being as low as 2.31. Friday’s high of 7.75 represents a great run of 236% in just a little over five weeks.
