Major Moves in TLRY, SPY Calls:

We’re ready to commence another exciting trading week this morning, and if it’s anything like last week’s we’re in for a real treat. We closed things out with a bang on Friday, offering up four separate sets of options trading ideas and ringing the bell on the whole lot of them! It was a choppy day for the markets as a whole, but things ended on a high note with the last hour of trading being particularly strong.

That led to gain opportunities ranging from good to extraordinary in our daily targets, which were the SPY 03/25 $450-452 Calls, the TLRY Weekly $7-8 Calls, the DOOO Weekly 04/14 $70-75 Calls, and the NIO Weekly $21.50-21 Puts. Getting Back on Track for a Fresh Trading Week

New Options Highs: 

First thing’s first, to start off this fresh trading week we’d like to apologize for the lack of a newsletter on Friday morning. We have only missed a couple of trading days in our entire history, and this time a power outage at our offices prevented us from doing our normal work, but we’re back in the saddle fully powered up and ready for another solid week of stock and options speculation!

So what we’re going to do before we hop right back on track, is go over the new highs that our options ideas from Wednesday morning registered to close things out on Friday, and then we’ll jump in with some fresh options ideas for today. As you can see in Wednesday’s report, we were tracking the YY Weekly $29-32 Calls, the BABA Weekly $85-90 Calls, and the DKNG 06/17 $20 Calls.

With the exception of the YY $29’s, we got new highs in all of these plays on Friday, so these figures represent the total possible gains in a two-day swing in these targets:

On Friday morning, we closed the week out by highlighting our winning options plays from Thursday, which continued a very nice trend of gainers for us over the course of the week. We also issued our typical fresh ideas for the session, and despite a rather poor performance for the markets in general, three out of our four targeted interested recorded significant positive movement on the day.

The targets we honed in on were the BKE 03/18 $36.85-39.35 Calls, the ULTA Weekly $375-385 Calls, and the SPY 03/11 $428-430 Calls. The gains they yielded were not explosive, but definitely respectable and notable in the moves they did produce, which were as follows:
