TGRO, GOGO, IMUC & Extended Watchlist

Tiger Oil & Energy, Inc. TGRO

TGRO continued to push itself to new highs on Tuesday, as the stock we’ve followed from a low of .36 (12/09) reached 1.47, extending our total possible gain in just a few weeks to 308%

We’ve obviously been extremely pleased with the performance of this pick, but as is the case with any stock that sees gains this large is so small a time-frame, it is by this point that one usually considers taking profits.

For more adventurous folks who might want to leave something on the table, we would suggest the possibility of using a stop-loss, in this case, the bottom of the previous session’s candle at 1.00.

Gogo, Inc. GOGO

GOGO began to rebound on Tuesday after a recent consolidation, holding support and bouncing off of the 50DMA. Many of you will recall our coverage of this popular tech play dating back to September 16th, when we caught it as low as 14.79. It went on to hit a high of 35.77, gaining 142% before the subsequent pullback we just mentioned occurred.

We want to keep an eye on GOGO, now that it has bounced off the $23-range, and is making its way back up, with pre-market trades currently going off above $26.

As far as options trading ideas for GOGO, we are interested in the January or February $30 Calls. For example, the February Calls previously closed at 1.70. If GOGO returned to $36 by 02/22 , those contracts could be trading in the $6 area, which would be good for more than a 250% gain from current levels. .

Extended Watchlist Winners

As is usually the case, we had a few picks from off of our extended watchlist that presented opportunities on Tuesday.

Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. BASI

Daily Range: 2.75-3.80  Gained: 38%

Noah Education Holdings, Ltd. NED

Daily Range: 2.34-2.56  Gained: 9%

ImmunoCellular Therapeutics, Ltd. IMUC

Daily Range: .96-1.09  Gained: 14%

Note: IMUC appears ready to continue its run today, gapping up in pre-market trading. Stay on top of this one, as several key chart indicators are beginning to look favorable. The RSI is starting to come off of being heavily oversold, and the MACD appears ready for a turnaround. As we’ve pointed out below, there is a large gap on the chart, the filling of which would spell significant gains providing it can break through the 1.20-range. We’ll be certain to have this one on our radars in the days and weeks to come.

Extended Watchlist:
ARIA, SPCHB, EROC, GNK

CNAT, GOGO, UNIS, CAMT & Extended Watchlist

Conatus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. CNAT

We caught CNAT on our scanner this morning, and is definitely a stock we’d like to keep an eye on today, following an FDA-related announcement regarding a drug that the company has under development receiving “Orphan Drug” status. FDA plays have provided us with countless opportunities in the past, especially when the news is untraded upon, so we’ll be interested to see how well CNAT fares today as a result.

Conatus is developing emricasan, a first-in-class, orally active caspase protease inhibitor designed to reduce the activity of enzymes that mediate inflammation and cell death (or apoptosis), for the treatment of patients with chronic liver disease and significant unmet medical need.

GOGO, Inc. GOGO

We have been hot on the trail of GOGO since our first mention on Monday Sept. 16th when it was trading as low as 14.79. We witnessed the stock’s 52-wk high a few weeks later on Nov. 14th (31.55), and then it consolidated to find support at 24.24.

Yesterday, GOGO re-established its 52-wk high at 31.65, and appears to want to gap up and continue its run today. This morning, the company has news out concerning the green light is has received to install its wifi satellite technology on Boeing 747 aircraft. and we’ve seen pre-market trades going off as high as 32.75. From our original alert price, that marks registers as a 121% gain. Heading into today’s session, we’d like to see the previous 52-wk high of 31.55 hold as support on any future pullbacks.

Unilife Corp. UNIS

Camtek, Ltd. CAMT

Yesterday wasn’t the first time we’ve mentioned CAMT on our extended watchlist only to see the stock turn in an impressive performance; last Monday, we tagged CAMT as a possible runner, and subsequently witnessed a pop from 4.11-5.29 (+29%). In a repeat of that scenario, yesterday we saw the stock trade from a low of 4.20 on up to 5.75, for a possible gain of 37%

Cheers to anyone who was able to take advantage of those very timely alerts!

Extended Watchlist:
IACH, OMED, ETRM, FRO, DGLY, NAVB

GOGO, AZC, PHOT, CBMX & Extended Watchlist

GOGO, Inc.  GOGO

Yesterday after appearing as a focus in our morning report, GOGO responded by posting yet another solid performance. After sinking to a daily low of 27.11, we witnessed a 12% intraday move to 30.26 on twice the 3mo. average volume. That was followed by a strong close, as it held the majority of its gains at 29.70.

The following screenshot captures the activity of the options we were interested in: The 01/18 $30 Calls made a 78% intraday move, and with the way GOGO is trading up pre-market, it’s fair to expect these contracts to be pushed even deeper into the money, adding to our already impressive chances for profit.

Augusta Resources Corp.  AZC

AZC also had a positive showing after yesterday’s report; the stock traded in a range from 1.06-1.25, giving us the opportunity to bank up to an 18% gain. We were correct in assuming that this recovery play was worth our attention, and a return to pre-11/20 levels would still mean significant gains from where it sits now.

Growlife, Inc. PHOT

We’ve continuously covered PHOT for over a year now, and the stock has definitely brought us some prime opportunities for sizable gains, as a quick glance at the chart will show. A recent dip back to the .06-range has been immediately followed by a significant bounce. We are looking at resistance sitting at .095 and from there it has a good chance to re-test recent highs.

We’d like to see higher lows today to confirm that PHOT is indeed back on an uptrend.

To take an even more in-depth look at the PHOT chart, view the video we prepared this morning:

CombiMatrix Corp. CBMX

CBMX came off of yesterday’s extended watchlist to have a big day. The stock opened at 2.48, and would ultimately touch a high of 4.44, which was good for a 79% intraday rip. This came on roughly 48X times the 3mo. average volume, so a stock with this kind of momentum flowing through it will surely continue to be on our watchlist as we close out the week.
