Blue Horseshoe Stocks: EGN Update & More

Energen Corp. EGN

A longer-term set of ideas we recently formulated were the EGN 09/21 $75 & 77.50 Calls. from our report on Monday morning. The contracts had shown marginal increases that day, but since then have added considerably to the highs we’ve observed.

We witnessed the following intraweek moves in these solid contracts, and with plenty of time left before expiration, even more gains are not out of the question.

The $75 Calls have thus far gone from  1.10-3.80 (+245%), while the $77.50′s have traded from .93-2.50 (+169%).

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: RXMD Recap & More

Progressive Care, Inc. RXMD

It was just yesterday morning that we were patting ourselves on the back for our February 22nd alert on RXMD, which gave us and our readers a chance at getting into this one as low as .0663.

The stock continued on to see an increase of just under 100% as of yesterday’s premarket report, and then trading activity during the session allowed the stock to cross that double-bagger threshold.

To open up the week,RXMD traded from .1171 up to a new high of .165, marking an intraday rip of 41% and an overall increase of 149% over our initially observed low.

Options Ideas

We also have a trio of stocks that have recently reversed off of their relative bottoms, and could be in line for a more sustained recovery. We’re going to want to track a few ideas for extended term options plays in Walmart, GM, and Disney.

WMT 04/06 $95-97 Calls
GM 04/06 $39-40.50 Calls
DIS 04/06 $105-107 Calls

We’ll also track a few SPY calls, the 03/07 $272-273.50 Calls, as the markets have been ripping, and may very well continue to do so.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: TWMJF Review & More

INSYS Therapeutics, Inc. INSY

We’ve had cause to mention our options idea for INSY every single trading day since we formulated them last Wednesday morning. The stock itself during that span has traded up from a low of 7.64, to yesterday’s impressive new high of 14.00. That’s a gain of 83% in and of itself, and it has really showed some fantastic moves in our options targets, the INSY 01/19 $8-10 Calls.

Despite already providing the chance at gains ranging from 150-350% leading into yesterday’s session, as we mentioned in our premarket report, we were still bullish on the ideas, and were rewarded once again. As INSY roared to its new high on the chart, the following new highs came to our tracked contracts as well. The ranges represent the overall move from our initial alert on Wednesday until the present.

$8 Calls – Range: .90-5.80– Max Gain: 544%
$9 Calls – Range: .60-5.10 – Max Gain: 750%
$10 Calls – Range: .70-4.10– Max Gain: 486%

More Pot Stock Updates

Yesterday morning, we commented on the rapidly intensifying cannabis sector rush, and provided updates on two stocks (ACBFF and TRTC) we highlighted in our “Cannabis Commentary” report on November 7th.

Today, we want to pull two more of the stocks from that report and give updates on the moves they’ve made since then, to illustrate the widespread run on the cannabis sector in general; something we’ve been foretelling for months now.

Aphria, Inc. APHQF – Range: (11/07-Present): 6.1434-17.50 – Max Gain: 185%

Canopy Growth Corp. TWMJF – Range (11/07-Present): 13.0464-28.884 – Max Gain: 121%

Added Note: Aurora also went on to set new highs yesterday, piling on even more to the nice gains we were mentioning in our premarket report:
 ACBFF -  Range: 2.7776-11.80 – Max Gain: 325%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Roundup & More

Options Roundup

We had good fortune with our fresh options call yesterday, so today we’re going to be recapping the total possible gains on those plays, as well as unearthing a couple of fresh ideas to add to the mix as we close out this trading week.

Delta Air Lines, Inc. DAL – Recap - Our inkling on DAL yesterday morning was to go bearish after a disappointing earnings call for the airline, with the DAL Weekly $55.50-53.50 Puts. We were not disappointed with our decision to do so, as those DAL puts went on to log the following double and multi-bag intraday moves for us before lunch hour was over:

$55.50 Puts – Range: .76-1.60 – Max Gain: 110%
$55 Puts – Range: .48-1.05 – Max Gain: 119%
$54.50 Puts – Range: .25-.65 – Max Gain: 160%
$54 Puts – Range: .13-.36 – Max Gain: 177%
$53.50 Calls – Range: .03-.17 – Max Gain: 466%
______

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. AMD

Speaking of bearish options ideas, we want to enter another fresh set into the log this morning in AMD. This stock trades very cyclically, and from a technical perspective, looks as if it could continue to lose ground after a reversal this week. We’re going to place the AMD 07/21 $14-13 Puts on watch into next week in the event that our impression of this play is correct.
______

BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. BJRI

Lastly on the options front, we are going to signal a range of extended-term calls on BJRI, which has a pretty attractive bottom setup on the chart at the moment. To take advantage of a potential sustained rebound, we’re going to be monitoring the BJRI 08/18 $35 & 40 Calls.
_____

Bonus Idea: NTNX 7/21 $20-25 Calls

Diana Containerships. Inc. DCIX

DCIX went into a full-on nose dive recently after it was announced that the company would be taking out roughly an $85M loan to settle a monster pile of debt, and the investment community did not take the news well.

The stock has subsequently fallen to new all-time lows, and that’s where we come in. We’re always looking for stocks like this to put on bottom-watch. Being egregiously oversold, DCIX may yet have a bit further to fall, but we’ll want to be ready for a reversal at any time. The resulting bounce-back could be considerable.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: MSDI Recap, PEP Options & More

Monster Digital, Inc. MSDI

We re-tagged MSDI for observation in yesterday morning’s premarket watchlist, and the stock ended up making a pretty good jump right out of the starting gate on a surge of huge volume to new new highs. This is a play that we first mentioned a few weeks back on June 19th, when it was trading in the .40-.50 range.

Yesterday it initially ran from 1.53 to its new high of 2.35 for an intraday swing of 54% though it didn’t manage to hold much of its advance into the close. Still, when all was said and done, MSDI ended up being the NASDAQ’s top gainer of the day, traded nearly sixty times its monthly average volume, and extended our total observed range since our first alert to a very respectable 408%

Pepsico, Inc. PEP – Options Ideas

Pepsi has been on a bit of a downturn of late, and despite its bearish moves of the past couple of weeks, we took notice of the fact that it has come down to rest around its 50-day moving average. The last time the stock spent any appreciable amount of time trading below that average, was more than four months ago.

Compound that with a chance for a boost from its scheduled quarterly earnings call next week (07/11), and it makes us interested to track some PEP options on the chance that the stock makes a rebound as we suspect it might.

We’ll take a look at the PEP Weekly $115 Calls for potential day/swing trades this week, and keep tabs on the PEP 07/14 $116 and $117 Calls in the event of a run into and/or following earnings this coming Tuesday.
