Options Reviews, Fresh Ideas

Options Runners:

We’re ready to kick off a fresh trading week today, but before we can dive into what’s looking ripe for the picking this morning, of course we need to go over the solid gains that occurred in our targeted options plays from Friday morning’s premarket report.

Three of our four designated set of options ideas on the day panned out to some significant gain opportunities for us. We were looking at the EXPE Weekly $202.50-207.50 Calls, the F Weekly $17.50-18 Calls, and the NET Weekly $119-122 Calls. The moves we witnessed weren’t eye-popping, but they were very respectable, especially considering how poorly things went for the markets in general.

Here were the total intraday runs and possible profits associated with those targets:

EXPE Weekly $202.50-207.50 Calls
$202.50:
 1.69-4.75 (+181%)
$205: .97-3.00 (+209%)
$207.50: .59-1.74 (+195%)
_____

F Weekly $17.50-18 Calls

Final 09/22 SPY Calls Review:

As we were just mentioning yesterday morning, our tag of the SPY 09/22 $436-438 Calls in Tuesday’s premarket report, provided us with some very nice opportunities. We reported Tuesday’s gains on these contracts that expired yesterday afternoon, and cautioned that they could very well register new highs before the end of the day. That’s precisely what occurred, as the S&P made sharp advances right from the opening bell.

Slightly larger gains could have been available intraday if you *only* caught yesterday’s report, but the following figures represent the largest possible gains for those who may have taken an interest on the previous morning of our initial alert:

SPY 09/22 $436-438 Calls
$436: 1.51-4.18 (+177%)
$437: 1.15-3.25 (+183%)
$438: .84-2.42 (+188%)
_____

We also had a pair of fresh options trading ideas in yesterday morning’s report, in the form of the SFIX Weekly $38-41 Calls and the GIS 10/15 $55-60 Calls. Both of those ideas returned instant gratification in the form of the following intraday moves:

SFIX Weekly $38-41 Calls
$38:
 2.60-4.20 (+62%)
$39: 2.00-3.55 (+78%)
$40: 1.56-2.77 (+78%)
$41: 1.08-2.22 (+106%)
_____

GIS 10/15 $55-60 Calls
$55: 3.80-5.50 (+45%)
$57.50: 1.70-3.40 (+100%)
$60: .60-1.42 (+137%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
DRI 10/15 $155-160 Calls
ACN Weekly $337.50-342.50 Calls

SLQT’s Impressive Run Persists & More

SLQT Stock & Options Update:

Just over two weeks ago, in our report from the morning of August 31st, we caught SLQT after a director filed a Form-4 and soaked up shares at at relative bottom. Combined with the right chart setup, that’s the sort of scenario that we’ll always take a chance on, and it paid off for us.

SLQT has been making steady strides toward a recovery nearly every day since then, and our designated options targets, the SLQT 09/17 $7.50-10 Calls, which expire on Friday, have continued their rise. The stock itself has produced a solid move on the chart from a low of 9.19 on the morning of our original alert, to a new high of 14.03 yesterday. That works out to an upswing of 53% in just two weeks’ time.

As far as our highlighted options plays, we’ve already provided multiple updates, and today’s is quite impressive, with the $10’s in particular edging closer and closer to that coveted thousand percent gainer designation.

Here are the current figures on the total moves these contract sets have posted since the 31st:

SLQT 09/17 $7.50-10 Calls
$7.50:
 1.80-6.50 (+261%)
$10: .40-3.90 (+875%)

Fresh Options Ideas:
MSFT Weekly $300-302.50 Calls
JKS Weekly $46-48 Calls
WEBR Weekly $12.50-15 Calls
