Options Gains, Fresh Ideas & More

Options Review:

As we cruise right past the halfway point of this holiday shortened week, we’re heading into another period of an exceptionally meager earnings calendar. It will be more than a month before we begin to see a plethora of daily reporters, but as always we will strive our hardest to bring you quality ideas on a daily basis.

Yesterday we managed to hit on three of our four sets of new ideas, with the fourth being longer-term October calls that will need some time to realize their potential. Our successful targets were the PATH 09/17 $65-55 Puts, the COUP Weekly $265-275 Calls, and the KFY 09/17 $70-80 Calls. We got some really nice intraday activity out of each of those plays.

Another Sweeping Options Success:

It was just yesterday morning that we were patting ourselves on the back for another 100% green set of daily options ideas in Tuesday’s report, with three winning alerts. We upped the ante yesterday with a rare 4-pack of quick-strike options plays, and it may not surprise our regular readers that we hit on four out of four!

The targets we had designated were the AMD Weekly $92.50-93.50 Calls, the MSFT Weekly $287.50-292.50 Calls, the BA Weekly $230-235 Calls, and the SBUX Weekly $124-122 Puts. It was a nice mix of the morning’s earnings reporters that we felt looked the most attractive in the premarket. None of these sets of contracts let us down, but by far, AMD was the play of the day, with all three of our targets producing intraday moves of well over a thousand percent!

Here’s the rundown of all the fantastic chances that presented themselves to members of our community:

AMD Weekly $92.50-93.50 Calls
$92.50: .50-6.30 (+1160%)
$93: .39-5.80 (+1387%)

More OTC Success:

For those of our readers who are not aware, we started in this business in the mid 2000’s almost solely on the back of our interest in OTC-traded securities. The past TEN of those years worth of newsletters is still available for perusal on our permanent archive at BlueHorseshoeStocks.com.

That’s why, even as we’ve shifted primarily to quick-strike options trading as our main focus over the years, we still take great pleasure in tracking and reaping benefits from the recent success we’ve seen in a lot of these lower exchange plays.

Here are new highs from yesterday in some of the stocks that we’ve been mentioning in our newsletters of late:

Green Globe International, Inc. GGII:

First Alert: 04/14
Subsequent Range: .0018-.105
Total Possible Gain: 5733%

Good Vibrations Shoes, Inc. GVSI:
