Blue Horseshoe Stocks: FRO, OPK, WLGC & More

Frontline, Ltd. FRO

At the beginning of this month when we first began looking at FRO, the stock was trading at a low of 1.33. It took barely a week for the stock to start inching its way up, and it has continued to do so up to the present.

By the time we re-flagged it in Friday’s morning report, it had already cracked the $2.00-mark, and we did mention that the level of momentum was primed to allow for further opportunities.

This morning FRO continues to push the envelope, setting a new high in premarket trading action. This morning’s top figure of 2.64 puts us just slightly short of double-bagger status, having shown us an increase of 98% from the lows we observed the week before last.

It can be argued that the bolstering of activity seen on FRO (and other shipping plays) is due to the continuing fall of oil prices which translates to savings at the pump.

Opko Health, Inc. OPK

OPK is catching our attention in the premarket as well, as a result of an agreement announced this morning with pharma-giant Pfizer to develop and commercialize one of Opko’s highly promising products which combats Growth Hormone deficiency. Peruse the following PR to find out more; the development certainly lands OPK a spot on our watchlist to kick off the week.

In instances like these where a play is sent through the roof on substantial news, we look for the resulting profit-taking to pull the stock back, where we wait to take advantage of a possible dip-and-rip scenario.

OPKO Health, Inc. (OPK) and Pfizer Inc. (PFE) announced today that they have entered into a worldwide agreement for the development and commercialization of OPKO’s long-acting hGH-CTP for the treatment of growth hormone deficiency (GHD)… hGH-CTP has the potential to reduce the required dosing frequency of human growth hormone to a single weekly injection from the current standard of one injection per day. >> FULL PR

WordLogic Corp. WLGC

Speaking of significant news, WLGC forces its way into our vernacular this morning on the heels of the announcement that the company will be teaming up with energy-leviathan General Electric (GE) in order to “monetize specific patented intellectual property in General Electric’s portfolio.”

With such a high-profile bedfellow, WLGC will instantly gain new recognition, and it will be very interesting to see how that translates to the chart.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: DRL, PBR & More

Doral Financial Corp. DRL

One of our main interests from this week has been DRL, and this stock put forth a very solid session yesterday. After seeing lows of 6.81 in the morning, the stock broke out in the afternoon to 9.29. That was good for an intraday run of 36%

Some of you may recall our initial alert on DRL back on July 23rd, subsequent to which we would observe a low of 4.61. Yesterday’s high marked a 101% move up from that level, over a span of less than a month.

Congrats go out to everyone who was tracking DRL along with us, as it provided a plenty-big chance for all to profit.

Lucas Energy, Inc. LEI

LEI appeared for the first time in our reports yesterday, and performed pretty well for a first-time call. Right at the open we tracked LEI from its low at .52 and saw a rapid spike to .69, which marked a gain of 32% right off the bat.

Those who missed the opening move still had a chance for a 15% intraday flip as LEI came back to bounce off support at .55 and ran back to .63 just prior to closing.

Petroleo Brasiliero S.A. (Petrobras) PBR – Tracking Options

We’re still all over the PBR options chain (in fact it has appeared in our reports more than 40 times since March) but we don’t see why anyone would be getting sick of our coverage, as every single one of our recent ideas on this play has paid out in a big way.

Yesterday was no exception; let’s break down our pre-market calls and see how they fared. We mentioned the $16.50  and $17 Weekly Calls for a quick intraday flip opportunity, and traders would have been very pleased to play either set of contracts. The $16.50’s ran 45% in a range from .91-1.32, while the $17’s traded from .50 up to .83; a possible gain of up to 66%

The January $19 Calls that we radared as a longer term option made a small move as well, trading in a range from 1.43-1.58 (+10%)

Those of you who may not recall our week-to-week swing trade idea from last Friday, let us refresh your memory. We mentioned that a play on the 08/22 $15.50 Calls could be good for a swing trade into this week, and the reulsts have been nothing short of astonishing. The contracts saw a low of .38 on Friday, and yesterday, showed us a huge increase, touching 2.17 for total possible gains of up to 471% Cheers to anyone who took our idea with more than a grain of salt!

Side Note:

From yesterday’s extended watchlist, FOLD also had a pretty solid session as it ran steadily from 5.02 in the early morning, to 5.99 around midday. A modest yet comfortable gain of 19%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BFLX, SKYF, OBJE & Extended Watchlist

Bioflamex Corp. BFLX

Over the weekend, we were conducting a search for some momentum plays to monitor this morning, and came across BLFX, a sub-penny stock which has just recently awakened from a relatively dormant period. These types of plays, while highly volatile, have definitely provided us with opportunities in the past.

After breaking a previous resistance level, the 200DMA (.0006), the stock held above that mark on Friday. A heavy influx of buying has come in over the past couple of trading days, and it closed out last week in full-on momo-mode.

Today, we’ll need to see BFLX maintain support above the 200DMA, and crack though the psychological barrier at .001 in order for us to remain interested in this play.

SKY440, Inc. SKYF

In the course of another of our routine weekend scans, we caught wind of another runner. SKYF has had significant momentum building up over the past couple of sessions, so this is going to be one that we want to keep on our watchlist as trading for the week commences.

As we point out on the chart below, all indicators are looking bullish and like the aforementioned play, SKYF is another one that we’ll need to see hold support above the .0006-level to hold our attention.

OBJ Enterprises, Inc. OBJE

We tagged OBJE as a bottom watch play on Friday, and like clockwork, the stock came down to find support at .04, and would subsequently bounce back to .0545, for a 36% positive intraday move.

Today, we’re looking for higher highs and higher lows out of OBJE to confirm a sustained uptrend.
