Blue Horseshoe Stocks: OWCP Recap & More

OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. OWCP

Despite seeing an excellent run-up from .0045 to .0074 (+64%) on Thursday as we called OWCP off of its bottom, we mentioned the indicators on the chart that were suggesting that another strong session could be in the cards on Friday.

We turned out to be exactly right, as the stock made a major push for the second straight session. This time it ran from a morning low of .00645 and cracked the penny barrier just prior to the close, hitting a high of .0111. That was a 72% intraday move, and from our observed low from the session prior, a two-day rip equaling 147%

The stock held at an even penny into the close, so we’ll be very interested to see if OWCP can become a multi-day runner and tack on a third straight solid session.

Praetorian Property, Inc. PRRE

We caught PRRE on a routine scan Friday morning after noticing some abnormal activity in the previous session. It was a good catch, because apart from a slow start on the day volume-wise, things really kicked into high gear around lunchtime.

PRRE traded in a daily range from a low of .151 to .38, which represented a fantastic intraday rip of 152%

Lands End, Inc. LE – Fresh Options Idea

After noticing the LE chart giving off a double-bottom signal, in addition to having a chart gap to the upside, and an extreme up-surge in its recent history, we’re interested in tracking a couple of options contracts over the next few weeks.

We’re going to watch closely for a reversal, and monitor the LE 10/21 $12.50 and $15 Calls. All of the chart factors mentioned above are clearly visible on the snapshot below. Regaining even half of the ground the stock has lost in recent sessions would send these contracts on a ride.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Alibaba IPO, VVUS Recap

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. BABA – IPO

Along with multitudes of excited onlookers today, we are going to be spending the second-to-last trading session of Summer 2014 with a large part of our focus on the much-anticipated Alibaba IPO. It certainly has been a summer of unusually many tech IPO’s; we saw companies like Mobileye (MBLY) and GoPro (GPRO) go public, and now the biggest one of them all (of all time, actually) BABA is sure to make its mark.

Where there’s a huge IPO concerned, there’s a huge amount of hype, and with huge hype comes the potential for rapid profits… Of course, wherever there’s a chance for rapid gains to be made, we’ll be right there!

Folks interested in more of a long-term relationship with the stock are liking BABA for simple yet powerful reasons; Alibaba is rapidly growing, already profitable, and has more than an 80% market share of Chinese ecommerce, a market that includes hundreds of millions of potential customers, and a lot of free cashflow to throw around. For many investors, those points will be all they need to know.

For those who like to have a bit more to go on, the numbers are certainly impressive. With an annual customer base of over 270M active consumers, yearly orders totaling roughly $14.5B, and total sales of almost $300B, the new kid on the block is also going to be the big kid on the block! The twenty-teens have brought many of the most exciting tech IPO’s of all-time, and this one could just be the most tantalizing of all.

VIVUS, Inc. VVUS

From off of our extended watchlist in yesterday’s pre-market report, VVUS had a pretty solid session. It saw a low of 4.21 in the morning before running as high as 4.82 in the afternoon, and in doing so, recorded volume on the order of more than 24x the one-month average. That was an intraday run of roughly 14.5%

VVUS has been yet another stock that we’ve caught coming off of 52-week lows that has found support and shown us a positive move.

ACYD, FB Options, TWGP & Extended Watchlist

American Community Development Group, Inc.  ACYD

ACYD played out the dip-and-rip scenario that we anticipated yesterday to the letter. The stock pulled back to a low of .031, before recovering ground on up to .049, marking the chance at  up to 58% in intraday gains.

The performance was solid enough to land us atop the Penny Stock Rumble as yesterday’s #1 Stock Pick.

We easily spotted the opportunity in ACYD yesterday, and we’re taking a similar view of the stock today. It is making higher highs and higher lows on significant volume, and we will remain interested as long as that trend continues. Keep in mind, trading with a tight stop-loss is the prudent course of action on a play like this, where the stock has already exhibited greater-than-average volatility.

Facebook, Inc.  FB -Options
We saw a dip-and-rip from FB after a gap-up yesterday. The stock has been on the rebound this week, and we are looking for similar action today. In that event, we would expect the 10/11 $49 Calls to also undergo a dip-and-rip scenario. It seems a real possibility to see FB return to the $50-level or higher, which would likely cause those contracts to yield multi-bag gains. They closed at .54 yesterday, and are in the process of gapping up in pre-market trading this morning, putting us on alert for another potentially-fruitful session to close out the week.

Tower Group International, Ltd. TWGP

Earlier this week, we were looking for TWGP to make a dead-cat bounce as the stock was tanking. This morning the stock is gapping-up so we could now be witnessing what could be an opportunity-laden recovery. There is a large gap to fill on the chart to the 7.00-range. Covering even half of that gap would have us looking at sizable profits from current levels.
