Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Midday Updates – 05/07/14

We had to send out another afternoon update to touch base with our readers regarding the stellar performance of today’s mentions! In addition, we want everyone to scan their inboxes tomorrow morning at the opening bell, because a stock that we’ve been monitoring behind the scenes could be ready to be upgraded to “Momo-Play” status. If conditions are right, we’ll pass it along to you! For now, take a look at what today’s picks have done:

Fuelstream, Inc. FLST

FLST made quite a move this morning, trading from a low of .008 all the way up to .0174. That’s good for an intraday romp of 118%

From the low of .0037 that we observed just a few sessions ago, a move to .0174 represents a highly-respectable 370% increase.

Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. QTWW

The bottom we were looking for in QTWW occurred at 3.74 this morning, and the stock ran to a high of 4.64just a short time ago, gaining 24% intraday. That’s a notable single-session move for a Nasdaq-listed stock.

Speaking of which, QTWW does also have an options chain. For anyone speculating in QTWW Calls today, gains of up to 100% were possible. Cheers go out to any sharp traders who were able to net quick profits on the rebound.

Petroleo Brasiliero S.A. (Petrobras) PBR – Options

PBR saw a modest increase today as well, to the tune of 5% as it traded in a range from 15.03-15.795. To update readers on the status of our PBR options calls, the $15 contracts we were monitoring this morning traded up from .39 to .79 (103%).

. When we first caught this play on March 21st coming off its lowest price in nearly a decade (11.25), we identified a gap on the chart that has now been filled. The recovery has carried the stock up 40% to just a hair below 15.80. Between that and the multitude of opportunities we’ve had on the options side of things, PBR has solidified itself as one of our top performers in 2014.

There is also another gap on the PBR chart from 16.48-16.99 that could become our next target if PBR continues to gain ground.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Afternoon Updates for 05/06/14

Fuelstream, Inc. FLST

We wanted to send out a quick midday update to congratulate our readers who’ve been following FLST along with us since we first mentioned the stock on May 1st. At the time, FLST was trading at a low of .0045, and gave us short term opportunities for intraday gains.

We pronounced our interest in the play specifically pertaining to the tight share structure, which we pointed out, makes stocks susceptible to rapid moves up on relatively light buying pressure. Our diligence continues to be rewarded today, as the stock has once again made a move on the heels of a press release.

This morning, it reached a high of .0089, marking an overall move of 98% off the bottom that we observed only four sessions ago, so cheers to everyone who has turned a profit at FLST’s expense!

Petroleo Brasiliero S.A. (Petrobras) PBR – Options

PBR was off to the races today, once it broke its previous swing high of 14.87, ran up to a high of 15.40. It continues to fill in more of that gap we initially pointed out to 15.70 in our first mention of this play back in March.

As a result of this chart activity, PBR options have been set ablaze, already having produced potential gains ranging from 100-355% The PBR options chain has been a source of great excitement for us on a consistent basis since we came across it over a month ago.

The recovery of PBR stock off of its annual lows has been a goldmine for us, and as it reaches new highs off of that bottom, we will continue to pursue every possible avenue to profit!

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: AVOP, CETV, PBR Options

AV1 Group, Inc. AVOP

We’ve been tracking AVOP for a few weeks now, having already seen some pretty impressive moves from the stock. Our initial alerts lead to gains in excess of 200%, and we saw another spike yesterday which led to AVOP coming down to .0012 from a high of .0027.

The stock closed out the day at .0016, and it seems to be searching for a bottom, so we’ll be monitoring for that eventuality. As volatile as trading in AVOP is, a properly timed bottom play could yield significant gains.

In order to remain interested in AVOP, we’ll want to see it hold support at or above its recent base range of .001-.0012.

Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. CETV

It’s been quite some time since we caught CETV on a Form-4 scan back in 2013. We followed the stock to highs well over 6.00 back in October.

After searching out a bottom, CETV again surged from the 2.10-range to the 3.40’s from November, and leading up to the beginning of 2014.

The stock produced yet another spike at the end of February that carried it from under 3.00 to nearly 5.00.

We come across this play as it is once again in a bottom-searching pattern. With the kind of moves this thing has made for us in the past, popping after big consolidations, we would be remiss to ignore its potential once it does find solid support and a subsequent rebound.

Petroleo Brasiliero SA (Petrobras) PBR

The PBR options chain has been very kind to us in recent months. When we first introduced this play on March 21st, the stock was trading at a low of 11.25.

It seems every time we called out our interest in a particular set of contracts in the weeks that followed, the gains would pile on, often to the tune of 100% or more. A quick scan through our PBR archive will confirm just how many times we took advantage of this stock’s recovery.

After peaking at a high of 14.87 on April 8th, the stock came back to bounce off support at 12.98 on April 15th.

Since then, it has been testing the boundary at $14, and hit a high of 14.03 yesterday, and already in the pre-market the stock is trading as high as 14.10, so we’ll try to take advantage of the trend using options.

We’ll be monitoring the $13.50 and $14 Weekly Calls throughout the rest of the week for potential dip-and-rip opportunities.
