Blue Horseshoe Stocks: LFAP, GPRO Recaps & More

LifeApps Digital Media, Inc. LFAP

Our timing in alerting LFAP in yesterday’s premarket report honestly couldn’t have been any better. The stock had fallen to a new 52-week low in the previous session, and we caught it on our news scanner with a PR which highlighted the launch of the company’s Apple Healthkit-Enabled App For iOS.

The coincidence of those two events provided a springboard for the stock, which opened at its daily low of .0027 and served up the chance at a double-bagger as it surged 100% to .0054. That was followed by a short recession to .0035, and rebound back to a high of .0047, tacking on an extra 34% spike.

Cheers go out to any of our readers who were able to take advantage of this timely call!

GoPro, Inc. GPRO – Options

GPRO turned out to be one of the better options trading calls we made this week. Yesterday we mentioned that as a result of a big gap up on earnings, we’d be on the lookout for potential plays in the range of Weekly $49-51.50 Calls.

The price action on GPRO as the stock predictably performed a dip-and-rip maneuver on the chart, provided a couple of swing opportunities in each set of contracts in our targeted range. For example:

The $49 Calls shot up 61% from 3.10 to 5.00 in the first 15 minutes of trading, and dipped back to a low of 2.40 before rebounding as high as 4.50, adding another 87% swing.

The $51.50’s first ran from 1.30-2.75 gaining 112%, and followed that up with a pullback to .92 before returning to 2.16 (+135%)

Each set of contracts between those low and high ends of our selected range ($49.50, $50, $50.50, & $51’s) also served up opportunities with similar price action and possible gains for traders.

Added Notes:

We picked up on a couple of stocks with fresh PRs out this morning that also happen to be coming up off of recent lows. As LFAP decisively proved yesterday, this has the potential to create the conditions necessary for rapid gains. We’ll have both of these on our radars as the session kicks off:

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: MVIS, IBIO Recaps, Options Ideas & More

Monday’s Watchlist Movers

iBio, Inc. IBIO – A quick search of IBIO in our archives reveals a lengthy history of mentions. We have definitely seen some impressive moves from this play in the past. History tends to repeat itself, and did so once again as IBIO stood out on yesterday’s extended watchlist.

The stock made a solid intraday move, trading in a range from .72-.89. That was good for gains of up to 24%, and the move came on great-than-average volume. We’re going to keep a continued watch on this play; if it manages to break through its recent resistance area around 1.00-1.05, things could get very interesting from there.

Microvision, Inc. MVIS – This one appeared in yesterday’s gap-up watchlist, and it too would make a modest, yet solid move. The stock made a continual move-up in the first two hours of trading, rising from a low of 2.88 to a HOD of 3.44. That marked out an intraday gain of 19%

Morning Gapper Watchlist

These stocks are hitting our scanner today as they gap up in the premarket, and we’ve got options ideas corresponding to each:

Esperion Therapeutics, Inc. ESPR has released top-line results on one of its studies, noting that the trials have met their primary endpoint. In light of that, the stock is up big in early trading this morning. This is going to be a situation we’ll want to monitor as the session commences.

Options Ideas: ESPR 04/17 $90 Calls (Last traded at 3.50) for a longer-term swing trade idea. For shorter-term day trading opportunities, we can look to play in-the-money Weekly Calls, in the event that any dip and rip scenarios present themselves.

Propanc Health Group Corp. PPCH

PPCH had already made a substantial move prior to our mentioning it in our daily report for the first time last Thursday. On that day we would witness a low of .0126, and in the few sessions since, the stock has begun to make yet another run.

Yesterday, PPCH topped out at a daily high of .027, which marks a 114% swing over our observed low.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: EVLI News, DRIO & More

Everlert, Inc. EVLI

EVLI continued to climb following Friday’s pre-market report; if you recall, following our initial alert of the stock on Thursday, we observed a low of .06, and during Friday’s session it would break our called resistance at .07 to run as high as .09.

Volume returned to normal as well, and with an interesting PR out this morning, we’re anxious to see how EVLI will kick off a fresh trading week. We’ll be looking for support to hold at the previous resistance at .07.

A 50% overnight move is certainly respectable, but according to the report released this morning, we should be on the lookout for even more potential short-term gains.
