Blue Horseshoe Stocks: LWSP Report & Yesterday’s Winners

Legacy Platinum Group, Inc.  LWSP

This morning we have a new play to introduce that recently embarked on a new path into a very trendy market space.

LWSP, through its acquisition of the rights to the complete “Wee-Cig” line of portable herb vaporizers and e-cigarettes from Wee-Cig International Corp., has essentially entered into two fast-growing industries, simultaneously.

Estimates place the value of the electronic cigarette industry at nearly two billion dollars a year. While that figure measures up to just a fraction of the market for traditional cigarettes, the disparity is narrowing as the public becomes more health-conscious, and tobacco smokers look for cleaner ways to consume nicotine.

In addition, because Wee-Cig products function with a variety of materials, folks who make their own herbal smoking blends, and even those living in states where marijuana usage is now legalized, can utilize the Wee-Cig for their own purposes. This expands the potential market for these products even further.

We don’t need to remind you how well stocks that have even a remote connection to cannabis have been faring in 2014. We’re excited to see how LWSP can utilize the influx of interest in cannabis stocks, coupled with its flagship product’s ability to vaporize marijuana; a huge selling point, in our opinion.

The growth potential of the cannabis sector is even greater than that of e-cigarettes, so it’s safe to say that LWSP is in a choice position, with the apparent ability to cater to both markets. To service these markets, there are two current models of Wee-Cigs: The “Wee-C”, and the “Wee-T.”

Both offer the same smoking experience customization; the difference being, that the Wee-C is a re-usable, rechargeable model, while the Wee-T is a disposable model meant to be used, and discarded.

Additionally, on its website, http://weecig.net, the company states that is already researching the next generation of Wee-Cig devices, with specific aim toward innovations like increasing battery life, and developing recyclable parts that will increase the overall life of the products themselves.  We’ll be waiting intently for the next update from LWSP on its progress into this new and exciting venture.

We also are looking forward to the completion of LWSP name and symbol change. According to a PR released this morning, the name-change should go into effect on May 16th.

Moving on to the technical side of things:

One of the main aspects that we find attractive about LWSP is its skin-tight share structure. With just 100M shares authorized, and 51.85M outstanding, LWSP is just the type of low-float play that can go up on a breath of air. With stocks structured in this way, just the slightest amount of buying pressure could potentially give rise to substantial upward movement.

We’ve made a few annotations to the following LWSP chart which show just that:

If LWSP were to re-test its previous swing high of .39, it would mean gains in excess of 129% from the current price.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: PBR Updates & More

Petroleo Brasiliero SA (Petrobras) PBR – Options
We were pleased with the potential for quick intraday gains provided by the PBR options chain on Friday. Our thoughts on moving up our strike price turned out to be warranted, as the $12.50 and $13 Weekly Calls we mentioned both did well on the day.In fact that $13’s actually made a heck on an intraday rip from .04 to more than .20.

We’re still optimistic that PBR stock can continue to recover (after recently hitting all-time lows) and even test the 14.50-15.70 range, filling its gap on the chart. The next major resistance hurdle appears to be the  200DMA at 13.88.

As for the contracts holding our attention moving forward, we’re still looking at the May $12 Calls (which we’ve already followed from a low of .31 to Fridays high of 1.10, +255%) and also considering the June $14 Calls which closed at .47 on Friday.

Positive ID Corp. PSID

PSID is garnering our attention once again this morning. This was a winner for us when we re-alerted it back on Feb. 18th.  If you recall, the stock was trading at a low of .0572 at the time, and we’d follow it all the way up to a subsequent  high of .125. It then came back to find support off of the 200DMA in the mid-.06 range.

We observed a Golden Cross on the chart last week, a signal we are always looking out for, and an 8-K filed this morning only adds to our interest as we kick off another trading week.

It is in regard to a lucrative purchase order that the company has received from UTC Aerospace Systems, which will service the US Dept. of Defense contract for the JUPITR program (Joint United States Forces Korea Portal and Integrated Threat Recognition):
On March 28, 2014 PositiveID Corporation (the “Company” or “PositiveID”) entered into an agreement, in the form of a purchase order, from UTC Aerospace Systems (“UTAS”) to support a contract for the U.S. Department of Defense (“DoD”). This agreement is expected to be performed over the next seven months, between March and September, 2014. The terms of this fixed price agreement include a total value of $841,000 to PositiveID, paid in monthly installments over the next seven months.

This agreement will support the DoD Joint United States Forces Korea Portal and Integrated Threat Recognition (“JUPITR”) Program, which is intended to detect biological threats in order to protect our nation’s warfighters and allies. The JUPITR program will test and evaluate PositiveID’s biological detection and identification technology called M-BAND (Microfluidic Bioagent Autonomous Networked Detector). The assessment will baseline performance, reliability, maintainability, ease of use, and cost of operation to provide the “best of breed” and most affordable options for the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.

A copy of the agreement will be filed as an Exhibit to the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2013. The description of certain terms of the agreement set forth herein do not purport to be complete and are qualified in their entirety by the provisions of that agreement.

Surna, Inc. SRNA

On Friday we added SRNA to our marijuana related watchlist, and were glad to have done so. We learned that SRNA’s new CEO is a former co-founder of Zynga, and the news was well received.

The stock shot out of the gate, rather quickly ballooning from its opening price of 2.99 up to 5.50 (+84%).

We also learned that in addition to a group of new directors, Surna entered into an agreement which effectively gained the company 14 intellectual property patents related to indoor climate control systems for cannabis growing in states where it is legal.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Afternoon Updates – 03/21

Petroleo Brasileiro SA Petrobras (PBR)

We regarded the PBR options chain as an area of short term interest this morning, and are happy to report that our focus on the $11 Daily Calls paid instant dividends.

As you can see on the screen capture below, from roughly 10-11am , the Calls we were looking at traded in a range from .34 to .55. That’s an intraday gain of 61%

PBR serves as an excellent reminder of why we sometimes like to delve a little deeper than just the stocks themselves. Options have the ability to provide us with those rapid daytrading opportunities that we covet so highly, as we saw here today. In, fact, as we’re sitting here typing, the $11 Calls hit a new high of .64, pushing our max gains on the session to 88%

Positive ID Corp PSID Update

Just a quick update on one of our recent interests in PSID this afternoon. Following our tracking of this play from .0572 up to.125 (+119%) back in February, the stock consolidated, and has recently been holding support in the .08-.09 range.

As the following chart shows, there is a Golden Cross in the making that has us looking at the possibility of another breakout.

For that and other insight into the PSID chart, check out the following video we prepared:

OSLH, TTDZ, PSID, PLUG & Extended Watchlist

OSL Holdings Corp. OSLH

After putting OSLH on watch Monday morning, we saw the stock run hard, jumping 113% from .089 to .19.

Yesterday brought another chance for traders to score sizable intraday gains. The stock traded in a range from .135-.25, which represents a move of 85%

Currently there’s support sitting at .115 and .135, with resistance at .199 and .25. If it can break past .20 again, we think there’s a good chance of seeing OSLH retest the .25-level.

Positive ID Corp. PSID

We brought PSID back to our reports on February 18th on the heels of a major consolidation, and ended up being very pleased with the timing. We saw a low of .0572, and then, just seven sessions later, a subsequent price of .125. That was good for a 119% rip.

The stock then underwent a general consolidation while fortunately holding above the 200DMA, and after touching a low of .08 yesterday, we were able to witness another run, this time to .1095, tacking on an additional 37% to the total gains we’ve seen off of this stock in just a few weeks.

Triton Distribution, Inc. TTDZ

To refresh your memory on TTDZ, we caught this play at .0012 on January 30th, and would actually see it increase 1000% to .0132 over a period of just over three weeks!

After the consolidation that followed, TTDZ came down to bounce off of support at .0061 at the beginning of this week, and has made a nice turnaround, reaching back up to .0094 shortly before the closing bell yesterday.

Plug Power, Inc. PLUG

After pulling back off of its most recent run-up, PLUG reversed its position and began to climb once again on Wednesday.

We’re on the lookout for the effects of an earnings release out today which reflects “strong fourth quarter product sales and maintenance orders were received from significant customers such as Walmart, Kroger, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.”

We also wanted to let folks know that they can tune into PLUG’s conference call today at 10:00am Eastern to review fourth quarter results. You can listen in by calling 877.407.8291.

The webcast can also be accessed at www.plugpower.com, selecting the conference call link on the home page, or directly at http://www.media-server.com/m/p/ge6327sd.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Pot Sector Updates & Much More

Commenting on Canadian Cannabis

Perhaps some of you may have already seen the stories that have been circulating about the current state of medical marijuana in Canada. This is a very complex issue that we are going to try to briefly break down to brass tacks. Essentially, beginning on the 1st of April, we are looking at the end of Canada’s MMAR (Medical Marijuana Access Regulations program, introduced more than a decade ago to allow Canadians with a need for cannabis to obtain a license to grow their own, or purchase it through one of the many dispensaries now operating across the nation.

The new rules will relegate supply duty to one of Health Canada’s eight commercial growers, or to one of roughly a dozen new growers that the Canadian health organization expects to lisnce when the new program takes effect. The move certainly has its opposition in the medical community and private sector, but barring some major development (such as a ruling by the Supreme Court of B.C., where the government is being sued under the assertion that the new laws are unconstitutional), all growing will fall to just a handful of state-sanctioned operations. What excites us most about the potential behind this development, is the direct involvement of some of the companies that we’ve been successfully tracking for quite some time which have formed a series of strategic partnerships.

Among the expected participants is one of our recent favorites in the sector, Creative Edge Nutrition, Inc (FITX). We’re eagerly awaiting further news regarding the status of its build on a 53,000sq. ft. grow facility in Lakeshore, Ontario, where it will become the largest such facility in all of Canada.

This also implicates another of our top pot performers, GrowLife, Inc. (PHOT) which has joined forces with FITX’s CEN Biotech subsidiary in this venture. The operation is expected to yield over a million pounds of marijuana annually to be distributed, with government approval, to the nearly 40,000 medical marijuana patients in Canada, a consumer-base that is expected to grow exponentially over the next few years.

Also in on the deal is ENDEXX Corp. (EDXC), whose “M3Hub Seed to Sale Tracking Platform” will be implemented to help track and maintain compliance for the facility’s huge crop output.

Other pot stocks we’ve covered stand to gain from Health Canada’s new regulations as well. Many of you will recall the huge gains we’ve already seen from Easton Pharmaceuticals, Inc. EAPH. Earlier this month, we received word that the company formed an alliance with a private B.C-based firm which has obtained government approval for its own grow operation.

All in all, we see the upcoming changes as even more reason why we can’t let the cannabis sector slip off of our radars. The new developments have been rolling in at a rapid rate, something we expect to continue indefinitely. Be sure to stay tuned as we keep you up to date on all of the exciting happenings!

Other Marijuana Related Interests

Fortitude Group, Inc. FRTD – We observed nice intraday activity from FRTD on Friday, as we had for most of the week up to that point. On the strength of a PR outlining the company’s new medical marijuana product “MariMist” designed for cancer patients, the stock made an intraday run of 43% as it spiked from a low of .0181 to touch a new high of .0259. From our initial alert low (Tuesday) at .0081, Friday’s high represents an overall move of 220%

Triton Distribution Systems, Inc. TTDZ – TTDZ has undergone a recent consolidation period after delivering us some sizable gains. Today we see news regarding the absorption of Triton into Green Cures, a story that we’re going to want to follow closely, as it could be just the catalyst we’re looking for to see TTDZ bounce back and potentially afford us a rebound opportunity:

TIBURON, CA–(Marketwired – Mar 3, 2014) – Green Cures, Inc. and Triton Distribution Systems, Inc. (OTC Pink: TTDZ) managements, announced today the conclusion and the closing of the takeover transaction and the full control of Triton by the Green Cures management. >> Full PR

Advanced Cannabis Solutions, Inc. CANN – Our first alert on CANN came on January 8th, at which point we observed a low of 6.31. What we’ve seen since then has been a rousing success-story, as the stock has gone on to hit a new high of 35.88. That’s a monstrous move of 469%, an unbelievable figure considering the price range of this stock.

Also, we have a couple of new marijuana stocks to add to our ever-expanding watchlist:

Cannabusiness Group, Inc. CBGI

Intelligent Living, Inc. ILIV

Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. CETV

We originally caught CETV on a Form-4 scan back in May of last year.  We were excited to see the buyer listed on the form as Time Warner. At the time, the stock was trading at 2.67. By late October, it hit a high of 6.60. After consolidating gradually to find support near our original alert price, prompting us to include it on Friday’s extended watchlist. After dipping to a morning low of 3.30, the stock would run as high as 5.17. marking an intraday move of  57%

Positive ID Corp. PSID

PSID has been responding extremely well since we re-commenced coverage on the stock on February 18th. At the time we observed a low of .0572. On Thursday, after several consecutive sessions of positive movement, the stock reached a high of .125, good for an overall move of 119%

We prepared a video of the PSID chart, pointing out current levels of support and resistance:
