Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Strong Start to the Short Week

Even during a time of relatively high uncertainty for the markets at large, and on a short trading week, which are often more subdued than a typical week, we still managed to suss out a wide range of interesting plays in yesterday’s premarket report. Therefore, the bulk of today’s offering will be comprised of performance updates.

ViaDerma, Inc. VDRM

VDRM turned out to be the crown jewel of yesterday’s report, undergoing a massive intraday run that offered up chances at huge single session gains. We initially tagged the stock before adjourning for the holiday weekend on Friday morning. and it responded with a pop from .0048 to .0087 (+81%).

We kept it in yesterday’s report, and that’s when it really kicked into high gear, trading in a range from .00845 to an incredible new high of .0242. That worked out to a single-session romp of 186% and extended our observed gains over a two-session swing from Friday to 404%

Congrats to any of our readers who were able to hitch a ride on this wild breakout!

mCig, Inc. MCIG

As we reminded readers yesterday, MCIG was among those stocks we mentioned in our first report of 2017, subsequent to which, we would observe a low of .1599.  We then saw two weeks of a notable uptrend which brought us to yesterday’s session.

Despite already having attained a new all-time high on Friday, MCIG kept the train rolling with a solid intraday performance leading to another new high. The stock traded in a range from .388 on up to .505, a 30% push which occurred on roughly 5x the monthly average volume.

The bullish move extended our overall observed range on MCIG in just over two weeks to a whopping 216%  Any further moves from here would just be icing on the cake, but we’ll want to leave MCIG on our radar screens because a dip-and-rip pattern could be forthcoming before the week is through.

Retractable Technologies, Inc. RVP

The posting of a Form-4 filing last week, along with its positioning on the chart is what led us to focus upon RVP as a “prime bottom-play” in yesterday’s premarket report.

We were correct in doing so, timing the bottom precisely as RVP went on to rebound, trading in a range from .94 to 1.16. While that works out to a modest increase of just 23%, RVP did close just slightly below that high of day, and this morning has reached as high as 1.18. We’ll be very interest to continue tracking its activity, looking for the recording of higher highs and higher lows en route to a sustained uptrend.

PureSnax International, Inc. PSNX

Also appearing in yesterday’s newsletter was PSNX, a subpenny play which also enjoyed a sizable PPS increase on heavy volume.

The stock traded in a range from  .00239 to .0035, an intraday gain of 46%, with more than 11x the monthly average volume of shares changing hands. The price tapered slightly into a close at .0028, but provided the stock maintains support above yesterday’s swing low, we’ll remain interested in PSNX.

Delcath Systems, Inc. DCTH

We also want to quickly point out what may very well be another prime bottom-play setup for DCTH. We’ve annotated the chart snapshot below to illustrate why we’ll be tracking this one as well as we head through midweek.

Extended Watchlist:
MJTK, MYHI, CVSI, LEXG, OMHE, REXX,

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: GIGL Review, Other Updates

Giggles N’ Hugs, Inc. GIGL

We’ve been hot on GIGL’s trail since tagging it in Friday’s premarket report, after catching it come off of a bottom. As of the end of that session, we’d witnessed a move of more than 350% from our observed low of .0053, to a high of .024, which occurred on record volume.

Yesterday we reminded our members to continue to keep tabs on the stock, and heeding that suggestion would have extended gain opportunities significantly with the daily performance that followed. GIGL managed to achieve a new high, trading up 140% intraday from .02 to .048. That new high mark represented a two-session swing of 806%

With the stock closing strongly at .035, we will of course be continuing to monitor its activity as we progress through the week.

Accelera Innovations, Inc. ACNV

We also tagged ACNV in yesterday’s morning report, and were pleased with the magnitude of the possible gains that were available there. The stock traded in a range from .008 and managed to hit .015.

That was the second subpenny play in as many days to crack the penny barrier on our watch (GIGL being the other), and it was good for intraday gains of up to 88% A strong close on healthy volume warrants further tracking in this instance as well.

Eli Lilly & Co. LLY – Options Update

On the 16th of last month, we formulated an extended-term options idea for LLY, and this morning, we’d like to take a second to update our readers on the level of gains that call has attained in recent weeks.

Our specific target contracts were the LLY 01/20 $75 Calls and the move we have observed in those has been quite good. A run from a low of .75 to as much as 2.50, which works out to total possible gains of up to 233%

Mountain High Acquisitions Corp. MYHI

We’ve got one last update this morning for MYHI. Last Wednesday, we tagged this stock, along with a varied group of several legal and medical marijuana plays, and just wanted to circle back to go over the fact that it has followed our expectations to the letter.

After the huge initial move we witnessed from .09-.239 (+166%) that first day, we followed up with an added caution, explicitly stating that “we expect a consolidation that should lead to a dip-and-rip pattern”.

That is exactly what has come to pass, as MYHI consolidated back to a low of .0909, before launching back to .175 yesterday. The move afforded us a chance to realize further gains to the tune of 93% on the rebound.

Along with MYHI, we’ll continue to watch several cannabis stocks, which comprise the vast majority of today’s extended watchlist.

Extended Watchlist:
OWCP, ENDO, LXRP, EDXC, CANL, PHOT, AMFE, HIRU

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: MYHI Run Continues, Options & More

Mountain High Acquisitions Corp. MYHI

Yesterday morning’s first mention was MYHI, which we had tracked the day prior over an impressive 94% span ranging from a low of .09 to .1745 on the first trading day of the new year.

We said we’d stay on MYHI’s trail after that momentous push, and the stock responded well with another bullish session yesterday wherein it achieved a new high of .239, and closed with strength yet again. From Tuesday;’s low of .09, yesterday’s high represents a two-session upswing of 166%

We’ll reiterate yesterday morning’s sentiment in saying that we’ll continue to monitor MYHI for further recording of higher highs and higher lows, and at some point, we expect a consolidation that should lead to a dip-and-rip pattern on the chart.

Connexus Corp. CNXS

Also appearing in yesterday’s premarket report was CNXS, which went on to have quite a solid session itself, particularly in the early goings.

The stock traded in a range from .001 to .0028 inside of the first 90 minutes of trading, which comes out to an intraday rip of 180% It managed to close just above both its current 50 and 200DMA’s so we’ll definitely want to keep a space on our watch screens reserved for CNXS in sessions ahead.

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. ANF – Options Update

ANF did our bidding to a tee yesterday. While we did signal a range of extended-term options contracts, we made it a point to mention that the gain opportunities could be there right from the start. We turned out to be spot-on in that regard.

We highlighted the ANF 02/17 $12-15 Calls, which all provided chances to profit right from the word go. That being said, with loads of time before expiration, we’ll be very interested to see how a continued uptrend for ANF and the magnitude of the added gains that would facilitate.

$12 Calls – Range: 1.10-1.40 – Max Gain: 27%
$13 Calls – Range: .60-.79 – Max Gain: 32%
$14 Calls – Range: .32-.44 – Max Gain: 38%
$15 Calls – Range: .12-.20 – Max Gain: 67%

StoneMor Partners L.P.  STON

We’ve spotted a bottom-bouncer in STON this morning that appears to have loads of upside potential. We’ve included a chart below, and pointed out the various aspects that have us interested in tracking the stock’s activity in sessions ahead. On top of that, we’re also taking into consideration the Form-4’s for a string of big insider buys that were made in the past week.

Should it prove able to break through resistance around the present 50DMA in the low 10.50’s, things could get more than a little interesting.

Extended Watchlist:
SFOR, EXAD, GYOG, LEXG,
NUGT($9-9.50 Calls, if it can break 50DMA)
