Blue Horseshoe Stocks: MCPI, DRL, KNDI & More

Med-Cannabis Pharma, Inc. MCPI

First up this morning is an update on MCPI, which has been a juggernaut over the past week, beginning on August 4th at a price of .355. We’ve tracked the stock every step of the way, and yesterday, were pleased to see it break over a dollar.

At the high of 1.14, we were looking at an overall increase of 221% over the span of only seven sessions. Those who may have just picked up on MCPI following yesterday morning’s report, still had the opportunity to score some quick intraday gains as the stock ran 42% over its daily range from .80-1.14.

Anytime we see such rapid gains over so short a period, it starts to feel like the time to take at least a portion of our profits off of the table. However, unsustainable increases often lead to dip-and-rip scenarios as we’ve already seen from MCPI, so we aren’t done tracking it by any means.

Doral Financial Corp. DRL

Another recent successful call is DRL, which we first took notice of back on June 9th, at which time the stock traded at a low of 3.53. More recently, we re-tagged DRL on the 23rd of July, at a price of 5.23.

No matter where you mark our starting point from, yesterday’s move to a high of 7.47 represented chances for significant gains. From the 07/23 alert, it marked a solid move of 43%, and  from our earlier 06/09 call, an overall increase of 112%

Kandi Technologies, Inc. KNDI Options

We’ve had KNDI in our reports and on our radars quite a bit this year. We’ve watched recently as the stock has consolidated over the past couple of sessions, and yesterday’s pullback to 17.03 seemed a bit exaggerated. The stock appears to be a gapper this morning, currently trading up in the high 17.50’s.

Should a reversal occur we’re going to have interest in the options chain, specifically the 09/20 $17.50 Calls. As usual, we’ll adjust our strategy accordingly as the overall trend becomes clear.

Side Note:

We want to radar NII Holdings, Inc. NIHD this morning as well, a stock that was recently hammered back to 52-week lows. We’ll monitor for the eventual bottom and any bounce opportunities that may present themselves.

ICTL, BTCS, LIVE, HPJ, FCEL

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: AAN, RFMD, FTNW & Extended Watchlist

Aarons, Inc. AAN – Options

One item of interest that we’ve been waiting to touch upon is AAN. We’ve watched as the stock has taken quite a beating over the past few weeks, and are presently scanning for a bottom. After losing so much ground over so short a time period, when support is found, the recovery on AAN could end up allowing for some rapid profits in the options chain.

While we need to first observe a solid base of support before setting our short-term call strategy, there are already a pair of longer-term contracts that we’re going to put on watch. The November 22nd $29 and $30 Calls (trading yesterday at 3.20 and 2.05, respectively) could see significant rises in value once a reversal occurs on the chart.

RF Micro Devices, Inc. RFMD

We brought RFMD up as a topic of discussion this past Friday, mentioning that the spike catalyzed by the release of record revenues was likely to lead to a classic ‘dip-and-rip’ scenario. That keen instinct has thus far paid off, as the stock did indeed dip to 10.74 before rebounding as high as 11.79 (+10%), achieving higher lows each day over the past four sessions.

As a result of the trend, we’re going to have our eyes on the September $12 Calls, which closed at .70 yesterday.

FTE Networks, Inc. FTNW

FTNW hit our news scanner this morning and will be a stock that we monitor as the trading session opens today. The PR alludes to some lucrative contracts, so we’ll be interested to see how it reacts to such significant press.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Speculative Sub-Penny Plays

Good Morning, Friends! Thanks for joining us as we kick off another exciting week of sniper-style trading action, seeking out high potential plays in multiple arenas. Diversity is key! From super sub-pennies to big boards, from stocks to options; our regulars know that with us, you get a little bit of everything! To start things off this week, we’ve got a couple of sub-penny stocks that we want to put on our watchlist:

Speculative Sub-Penny Plays

Xumanii International Holdings Corp. XUII

XUII comes to us this morning as a stock that was recently trading as low as the .0005 range, and began to push over the .001-mark at the end of last week. The upward activity is concurrent with a new development that has just been announced, the completed acquisition of a revenue-producing company. (Link to PR below)

We’ll be monitoring XUII as the week commences, looking for XUII to maintain support above that all-important .001 mark. As far as resistance is concerned, main areas on the current chart are .0018, and beyond that, the 50DMA of .0024.

Xumanii (DBA Imerjn, OTCQB: XUII), announced that it has completed the acquisition of Rocky Mountain Tracking “RMT”), an established provider of GPS tracking solutions in North America. The Company has signed a definitive agreement to acquire RMT Leasing Inc. and its subsidiary Rocky Mountain Tracking Inc. This transaction is not subject to any further action and is effective immediately.

For the year ending December 31, 2013, RMT generated revenues of $1.4 million and pro forma EBITDA of approximately $200,000. Xumanii acquired RMT for $3.1 million consisting of a combination of cash, a note and preferred stock. >> FULL PR

Guard Dog, Inc. GRDO

Another sub-penny that is currently catching our attention is GRDO. As per a recent corporate update, the company is working diligently toward providing adequate information to come current with their filings, and lift itself from non-reporting status.

On the chart last week, we saw the break of a recent double-top formation at .0008 as GRDO closed at .0009 on Friday. The three lines on the bottom of the included chart below represent current support from .0004-.0006, and ideally we’d like to see the stock hold above .0008 to start things off this week. Conditions do appear favorable; the MACD just made a bullish cross, and is showing rapid upward divergence, while the RSI is headed sharply toward the power zone.

Side Note:
We left things off last week with an extended watchlist that included three potential bounce-plays. KNDI was just coming off of a recent bottom and looking like a reversal was in the cards, while BCOV and AWRE were in free-fall and still searching for their bottoms. KNDI found its footing, and both BCOV and AWRE bounced as we suspected they might. All three will remain on our watchlist to begin the week.

Extended Watchlist:
XGTI, CERE, ACW, FCEL
