TCPS, FNMA, FMCC & Extended Watchlists

TechnoConcepts, Inc. TCPS

We called for caution on TCPS in yesterday’s report, indicating our belief that a pullback was likely to soon be upon us. Fridays are often profit-taking days, and after six straight sessions of gains (420% in total at yesterday’s high, from original alert at .0025) it’s difficult for us not to chalk this up as a win and take our hefty profits.

While there is a chance the momentum could carry over to next week, at the very least, we’ll be looking to sell half of our position to lock in our initial investment, and ride the rest of the way on the house’s money.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac – FNMA & FMCC

FNMA and FMCC appeared in the extended watchlist both May 15th and May 16th, and since that time, have each made sizable increases:

FNMA – Low (05/16):1.20 – Yesterday’s High: 2.20 – Gained: 83%

FMCC
– Low (05/15): 1.11 – Yesterday’s High: 2.05 – Gained: 85%

Both of these have been trading copious volume, so we want to be on the lookout for a continuation of the recent uptrends. In the event of a pullback, we feel there would be significant bounce opportunity.

Solar Sector Watchlist:
It looks as if the solar plays we mentioned on Tuesday are beginning to heat up. We are going to be paying attention to this group of stocks as we head into the long weekend:

ASTI, RSOL, CSIQ, HSOL, FSLR, SCTY, JKS, LDK

Extended Watchlist:
HALB, TNP, FREE, EGLE

AAPL, AUY, TCPS, EVRM, RSOL & Extended Watchlist

Apple, Inc. AAPL Options
Our coverage of Apple Options just got a whole lot more interesting. At the time of our afternoon updates yesterday, the $440 Calls we were looking at ran from 7.75 to 9.05, adding 17% to our gains. What happened following the market close was quite unexpected.

Most of you will have already heard about the big headline now surrounding Apple- because of the company’s exploitation of foreign tax loopholes, it has avoided paying billions in U.S. taxes on profits that it has moved to three shell companies in Ireland. The bills Apple has avoided through what is being referred to by some as ‘tax gimmickry”, could play a role in the reform of US corporate tax law, but it is yet unclear as to whether Apple will be subject to some form of penalty for this financial sleight-of-hand. CEO Tim Cook is set to appear before a Senate subcommittee to respond to the accusations.

Regardless of the final outcome of this latest development, we are readying ourselves for the possibility that Apple may see an interuption in its recent bullish run. As of this moment, it is uncertain as to how this will affect the overall trajectory of the stock, thus we want to remain extremely vigilant. Should this story not have a great effect, we would still be looking at the $435 and $440 Calls. However, if AAPL doesn’t hold support at this morning’s pre-market low of 438.24, we will need to turn our attention to Puts at the same strike prices of $435 and $440.

The key here will be quickly thinking on our feet once a diagnosis of the current conditions can be made.

Yamana Gold Inc. AUY Options
Also among yesterday’s Options Trading coverage was Yamana Gold. The AUY $11.00 calls we alerted in our afternoon update report (trading at .60 at the time) ended up closing at their high-of-day (.70), for a quick gain of 17%

TechnoConcepts, Inc. TCPS
TCPS is a momentum play that we are putting on watch today for a possible continuation of its recent surge. The stock broke its 3-year high yesterday, and has been seeing an increase in volume over the past few sessions. We’d like to keep a cautious eye on this one moving forward, as it is currently in Blue Sky Breakout mode.

Evermedia Group, Inc. EVRM
EVRM hit a new high of day into the close yesterday. We like the activity we’ve observed since Friday, as the stock has held support off of .0012, and yesterday hit a high of .0018, marking an increase in our possible gains from 33% to 50% We want to continue to watch EVRM moving forward.

Real Goods Solar, Inc. RSOL
RSOL also hit a new high into the close yesterday, trading at 6.43 at the time of our alert, and going on to touch 7.17, increasing our possibility for intraday gains up to 57% (From its low of 4.55) With all the momentum in solar stocks recently, we want to keep an eye on the sector as a whole. Here are a handful of related stocks to watch in the field: ASTI, CSIQ, HSOL, FSLR, SCTY, JKS, LDK.

Extended Watchlist:
CLWR, FNMA, FMMC, SDBT

FCGD, MDBX, SCON & Extended Watchlist

First Colombia Gold Corp. FCGD

Despite the fact that it closed down on the day, our momentum alert from yesterday morning still provided us with plenty of opportunity to get in and out with a profit in the early part of the day.

After gapping up very slightly to .0044, the stock managed to ride the momentum as high as .007, allowing for gains of up to 59% in the first half-hour. Apart from possible gains right out of the gate, we can also extract a good lesson from what happened next. We saw what is called a “double-top”, which is when a stock bumps into resistance, pulls back, and makes another run at its high before losing momentum, which leads to a pullback like we saw as the day progressed.

We lost interest when the stock failed to hold support at our called level of .006. It is always a good idea to have a mental stop, falling below which point is an indicator that its time to exit. All things considered, FCGD turned out to be a good call, even if the window of opportunity wasn’t open for as long as we would’ve liked.

Medbox, Inc. MDBX

We’d like to give ourselves a quick pat on the back for this play. We last mentioned MDBX on March 12th, along with some of the other medical marijuana related stocks we’ve been actively tracking this year. After that time, the stock was trading as low as 14.02. It is not often we see a Pinksheet stock trading in such a high PPS range, but MDBX managed to touch 38.40 on Tuesday on record volume, marking a move of 174% in roughly six weeks.

MDBX sent out a PR yesterday, pertaining to Tuesday being a record trading day:
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., April 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Medbox, Inc. (OTC Markets: MDBX) (www.medboxinc.com), a leader in providing industry specific consulting services and patented systems to the medical and retail industries, announced that yesterday (April 23, 2013), was the single largest trading day for their stock in the company’s history with over 66,000 shares traded.

Superconductor Technologies, Inc. SCONSCON appeared on Tuesdays extended watchlist, and followed with a great performance, opening at 3.50, and seeing a low of 3.41, before running as high as 5.45. That marks a possible gain of up to 60%

Extended Watchlist:
WSGF, EXMT, MPG, INFN, FSLR

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: FSLR, VHGI, JRRD

First Solar, Inc. FSLR

On February 27th, FSLR appeared on our watchlist as a stock we were monitoring  for a bounce opportunity off of an earnings gap-down. Following that report, it was as low as 24.46. This week, we saw a big pop out of FSLR, running as high as 41.00, for a whopping 68% gain. Quite impressive, as it is not often that we see such sizable gains off of a stock traded on the NASDAQ.

Following that run, a consolidation ensued, as it found a base at 35.95; a level that we’d like to see held as future support.

___

VHGI Holdings, Inc. VHGI

We’ve been following VHGI for a LONG time. More specifically, since December 9th, 2011. In that period of roughly 16 months, we’ve had quite a bit of success trading this stock.

We saw an intitial run from .21-.52, 148% for our first ever alert on VHGI. We then proceeded to see another move from .225 in December, to .746 (+230%) in January of last year. But it didn’t stop there.

After taking a bit of a hiatus, VHGI cropped up on our radars once again, on June 25th. By that time, it had come all the way down to .055. A few weeks hence, we celebrated a gain of 255% as the stock touched .195.

We then backed off for awhile, until it began appearing once again in our extended watchlist last month March 1st. This is after we noticed it coming off of its 52-week lows, and out of the sub-penny range. That was on a Friday, and the PPS had reach one penny exactly. By the following Monday, trades were going off at .048, marking another solid move, this time, to the tune of 380%

Once again, the play appeared on our watchlists, on April 2nd, and as a feature in our reports on April 3rd. At that time, we observed a run from .0195, to a break of its previous swing high of .048 (which nearly coincides with the 200DMA at .045) up to a high of .07, adding close to 260% in added profit. The significance of breaking the 200DMA is huge for the bullishness of VHGI. We’d like to see support hold there (~.05) moving forward.

If anyone knows this stock, it would be us. It stands as one of the longest-running tracked stocks in our history.

___

Journal of Radiology, Inc. JRRD

JRRD has appeared in our extended watchlist, for the first time on April 2nd and 3rd. Following that time, the stock was trading as low as .0005, most recently on Wednesday. Yesterday, we observed a high of .0025, marking a huge 400% rip in just a few day’s time. Those of you who didn’t have it on your watchlists from the time of our original alerts, could still have managed gains of up to 67%, as it ran from .0015 to .0025 during yesterday’s session alone.

BYRG, PNCH, FSLR & Extended Watchlist

Buyer Group International, Inc. BYRG

BYRG is gold play that is currently getting a lot of overnight newsletter coverage, so we figured we’d slip in a mention, and put this stock on our watchlist for today. It appears the stock is trading near a relative bottom, and Friday’s volume was well above average.
New PR this morning:

AUSTIN, Texas, March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Buyer Group International, Inc. (OTCPINK: BYRG) (“BYRG” or the “Company”) today announced that Rudolph M. Dahl has joined its team as a consultant focused on financing development of all aspects of BYRG projects on a domestic and international scale.

“We expect that Rudy will be of enormous benefit to Buyer Group in locating and financing international projects,” said Dave Bryant, BYRG’s CEO.  After a thorough examination of BYRG, Mr. Dahl added, “I am excited to be joining the BYRG team and assisting in project development.  The more you look at what is out there, the more you can see the potential.”

___

IC Punch Media, Inc. PNCH

We first mentioned PNCH on Tuesday, and it was followed by fours consecutive days of green closes for the stock. Following Tuesday’s mention the stock traded as low as .006, before reaching its high of .0092 on Friday, and closing at .009. This range marks the chance for gains of 50% or more.

BARCHART.COM is still calling PNCH a “72% Overall Buy” Rating, even after almost a week’s worth of increases.

After so many days of increases, it would not be out of the ordinary to see a pullback on PNCH this week. In that event, we would like to see support hold .0065.

___

First Solar, Inc. FSLR

FSLR is a big board energy play that we mentioned back on February 27th. The stock made a modest, yet solid 8% move in just two weeks, from a 25.50 low, up to Wednesday’s high at. 27.54. For a stock priced in this range, 8% is quite a good move in such a short time period.
