Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Cannabis Updates, Options & More

Cannabics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. CNBX

We began talking about CNBX earlier this month, mentioning it on the 5th and 6th, as part of our ongoing effort to remind our readers of the myriad opportunities there are, and will continue to be, in the cannabis space. We’re now less than two weeks away from an election that should dramatically alter the landscape of the marijuana business.

CNBX is among a number of pot-related plays that we’ve had on our running tracklist, and with the help of a really strong month overall, it has come all the way from our observed low of .06 on the day of our initial mention (10/05) to a new high yesterday of .377. That works out to an increase of 528% inside of three weeks.

It wasn’t the first time we’ve seen such a huge move out of a cannabis stock, and it certainly won’t be the last.

MyDx, Inc. MYDX

Speaking of the cannabis sector, MYDX is another constituent of that space that we’ve been tracking this month only to witness some excellent moves to the upside.

We entered MYDX into the mix on the 10th, and subsequently observed a low of .0225. Since then it’s been a fairly steady ramp-up and yesterday the stock achieved a new high of .0525. It represents a total PPS rise of 133%, which, like the above-mentioned play, occurred in a span of less than three weeks.

From Our Daily Traders Chat

Based on the events of yesterday morning, it’s time once again to point out why we strongly suggest our readers also take part in our daily live traders chats via Skype.

Promptly at the opening bell, as you can see on the screen-snap below, we signaled interest in WCYN, which subsequently went on a huge intraday tear that took it from a low of  .0035 to as high as .047; that’s a move of 1243%

We also alerted TOPS at that time, and it made a run from 4.35 to a high of 7.09 for a 63% pop on the day. The stock is trading up over 7.50 in the premarket, so it looks like our observed gains are set to increase this morning.

Both of these plays are great examples of late-breaking opportunities that don’t make it into our daily reports, but that we still make available to our community of traders, and that includes YOU! To get involved, simply send a Skype contact request to username: “stocksumo” and we’ll get you all set up!

Kraig BioCraft Laboratories, Inc. KBLB

Yesterday we were outlining our July 13th report wherein we alerted KBLB, which was trading as low as .0261 at the time. To that point we’d seen it accumulate a gain of 164%, hitting .069 on Friday.

We also mentioned that we’d continue to track the stock if it could hold support above .04, and KBLB did us one better; it ran 27% from .075 to .095, and extended the overall increase we’ve witnessed in just over two weeks to an impressive 264%

CGrowth Capital, Inc. CGRA

After appearing in yesterday’s premarket report, this old familiar face produced a decent chance for some solid intraday profits. CGRA traded in a range from .0235 to .032, a notable jump of 36%

Options Idea:

Shire plc SHPG - Coming off of a premarket earnings release that has SHPG gapping up moderately in premarket trading this morning, we want to signal a range of options contracts to track in sessions ahead.

We’re looking at the SHPG Weekly $197.50-202.50 Calls. We’ll be interested in these calls provided SHPG holds support above the $195 mark on any initial pullbacks off of this morning’s gap-up.

Tempur Sealy International, Inc. TPX – Options Update

In Friday morning’s premarket report, we were providing updates on an options trading idea that we’d initially put forth on Thursday, the TPX 08/19 $70-80 Calls. The three sets of contracts had managed to yield gain opportunities ranging from 60-118% in that first session.

We also mentioned that because of the extended expiration date, we’d want to stay hot on the trail of this idea, and it was a good thing we did, because potential profits were extended with new highs in every case.

Our total observed gains over a two session span are as follows:

$70 Calls – Range: 3.00-6.10 – Max Gain: 103%
$75 Calls – Range: .90-.2.54 – Max Gain: 182%
$80 Calls – Range: .25-.60 – Max Gain: 140%

_______, Inc. AMZN – Recap

As a fresh daytrading idea, we also submitted the AMZN Weekly $762.50-770 Calls for observation on Friday, and saw some nice chances for solid gains there as well, early on in the session.

All of these huge moves occurred prior to the lunch hour:

$762.50 Calls – Range: 1.56-4.57 – Max Gain: 193%
$765 Calls – Range: .88-3.46 – Max Gain: 293%
$767.50 Calls – Range: .64-3.00 – Max Gain: 368%
$770 Calls – Range:  .16-1.15 – Max Gain: 619%

Vapor Hub International, Inc. VHUB

VHUB appeared in our morning report on Friday as well, and put up a notable intraday run itself. From a low of .008, it broke out of subpenny territory and reached as high as .018. That was good for gains of up to 125% on the day.

Ideally, we’d like to see the stock maintain its penny-plus status moving forward, but technically, it would hold our interest as long as it stays above Thursday’s swing high of .0094 on any dips.

Kraig BioCraft Laboratories, Inc. KBLB

We recently came back to stock that we’ve covered a lot in the past. On July 13th we alerted the play, when it was trading as low as .0261, and on Friday, the stock hit a high of .069, marking an upswing of 164% in just over two weeks’ time.

We’ll continue to follow its progress as we kick off a new trading week, granted that it closed with strength just a tick below its high of day. In order to keep our attention, we’ll need to see it hold support at or above .04 on any forthcoming consolidations.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Yesterday’s Big Winners & More

Lululemon Athletica, Inc. LULU

LULU was our options trading target yesterday as we noticed the stock gapping down more than 10% in the premarket on an ill-received earnings report.

The idea we had was to track each set of contracts within the range of LULU Weekly $47-44.50 Puts for possible intraday swing-trade opportunities. It ultimately turned out to be an awesome call, with blockbuster moves being produced by every single set we’d highlighted.

$47 Puts  – Trading Range:  .19-2.01  – Max Gain: 958%
$46.50 Puts – Trading Range: .13-1.59   – Max Gain: 1123%
$46 Puts  – Trading Range: .09-1.25  – Max Gain: 1288%
$45.50 Puts – Trading Range: .10-.94   – Max Gain: 840%
$45 Puts  – Trading Range: .05-.75  – Max Gain: 1400%
$44.50 Puts – Trading Range: .05-.52   – Max Gain: 940%

Perhaps the most astonishing thing is that single-session gains of this magnitude have become commonplace for our options ideas, as anyone who has followed our reports for awhile can attest. It’s the primary reason behind our shift over the last couple of years as we’ve moved to split our focus between what we like to call quick-strike options trading, and securities trading. The integration of options trading has opened up a lot of doors for us on a consistent basis, and we expect that trend to continue indefinitely.

Premier Biomedical, Inc.  BIEI

We had just finished commenting on the big moves BIEI has been making in yesterday morning’s report, and once again the stock pushed to new highs in what amounted to a very bullish session.

So after witnessing a 121% run from .015-.0334 on Tuesday, we were treated to another big intraday pop as BIEI ran from .0305 to .0529; a solid 73%

We also put together a video illustrating various facets of the BIEI chart:

USA Restaurant Funding, Inc. USAR

USAR was tagged in yesterday’s premarket report on our extended watchlist, and it too produced a significant move on the day, gradually ramping up throughout the course of the afternoon and running into the close.

From a low of .0015 the stock fell just a tick shy of a double-bagger, reaching a new 52-week high of .0029. It marked an intraday performance that allowed maximum gains of up to 93%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: MZEI, SPY Recaps & More

Medizone International, Inc. MZEI

Continuing our recent good fortune with selecting stocks ripe for a rebound off of their 52-week lows, we listed MZEI as a point of interest in yesterday’s premarket report.

We want to quote what we said verbatim, as the stock’s performance so closely coincided with our expectations. We stated: “MZEI fell off a cliff yesterday…We’re going to slate this stock as a potential recovery play- support prior to that epic beating was in the .07-08 range, so we’ll be on the lookout for a rebound back to that region of the chart.”

As the session commenced, MZEI gapped up just past that .07-mark to .07225, and proceeded to run promptly to a daily high of .09, a 25% intraday move, and held a good portion of those gains into an eight-cent close. We’ll keep this one on our radars to watch for the possibility of a sustained rebound.

ETF Options Recap

Both of our options-trading ideas for ETFs worked out nicely yesterday:

Direxion Daily Gold Miners Index Bull 3X Shares (NUGT) - Our idea of tracking the NUGT Sept. 4th $5 Calls yesterday provided a significant chance for traders to make a double-bagger, as they rose from .27 to a high of .55, marking a total possible profit of 104%

*Side Note* We spotted abnormal volume in the NUGT 09/18 $5-7 Calls during yesterday’s session, so we’ll tag those for observation in coming weeks. NUGT is dipping back in the premarket today, which could provide us with a good buying opportunity.

SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) - We flagged SPY Weekly $206 Calls in our extended watchlist yesterday, and were instantaneously rewarded. Those contracts ran hard, jumping from a low of 1.08 all the way up to 3.24. That was good for a nice, round, 200% jump on the day, so congrats to any of our readers who took advantage of the heads up!

Eleven Biotherapeutics, Inc. EBIO

We also want to observe activity in EBIO as we head into week’s end. On Wednesday, they provided an update on one of their clinical trials, and this morning they’ve got an earnings drop (Links Below), leading to another premarket gap-up. We’ve pointed out the key aspects on the following chart snapshot, including the fact that an normous gap exists, the fillinf of which could mean significant added gains.
