Runners, Runners, Everywhere!

Options Review:

We played the SPY from both sides of the fence last week as the markets chopped up and down over the course of some rather volatile sessions. On Friday morning, we flipped from bears to bulls and cast our lot in with the SPY 05/14 $411-412.50 Calls.

Additionally, a couple of our other targets, the DASH Weekly $122-125 Calls and the PBR Weekly $9-9.50 Calls, produced some impressive intraday rallies that gave traders the chance at the following gains:

$411: 2.56-6.48 (+153%)
$412: 1.91-5.58 (+192%)

American Diversified Holdings Corp. ADHC – We also wanted to provide a brief update on ADHC, which has been cropping up in our watchlist over the last few weeks. The stock was as low as .005 following our April 1st tag, and after reappearing in Friday’s report, ran to .023, marking an rise of 360%

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Potential Bottom-Play, HMCP Update & More

GAIN Capital Holdings, Inc. GCAP

GCAP began to get hammered on the heels of yesterday’s announcement by the Swiss National Bank that it would move interest rates caused some volatility in the Swiss franc.

The stock is still getting crushed in the premarket today despite the fact that the move by the Swiss does not materially affect the company, as stated in a commentary released by BCAP yesterday afternoon. >>> READ PR

Currently it has been beaten down to the 6.50-area; its lowest levels since October, so what we’re going to want to do is monitor this play for an eventual bottom-bounce. This is exactly the type of knee-jerk pullback we like to catch, as the recovery can often be extremely profitable for quick-witted traders.

Heritage Media Corp. HMCP

We first brought HMCP to our readers’ attention on New Year’s Eve, and discussed it most recently last Thursday. With such a low float, HMCP is susceptible to rapid movement on relatively little buying/selling pressure, and in the intervening time between those two reports, we witnessed a series of heavy swings in the stock cumulatively totaling 200%

We pointed out that the patterns were making a bullish flag formation on the chart, and it did turn out to be a prelude to further gains. On Monday we observed a low of .003, and yesterday the stock registered a new high for us at .0077, which adds another 156% swing to the already impressive moves we had witnessed previously.

Indicators are still looking ripe as illustrated on the following snapshot, so HMCP will be something that we keep a close eye on into next week.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Marijuana Stocks & More

Transbyte Corp. ERBB

Among others, ERBB was one cannabis play to have a bang-up session on Tuesday. After we watched it make a 23% intraday move from .012-.0147 on Monday, the stock continued to push its upper boundaries, opening at .0155 and reaching as high as .0193, an added gain of 25% It closed with strength at .019 on nearly 330M shares traded; that’s well over 3x its 3mo. average volume.

Be on the lookout for where this latest rush of momentum can carry ERBB, and aware of the possibility for bounce action in the event of any pullbacks.

Growlife, Inc. PHOT & Creative Edge Nutrition, Inc. FITX

PHOT produced an exciting PR this morning that we wanted to share, as it it ties it to another of the cannabis stocks we’ve been following that has also produced mammoth gains this month, in FITX. It’s a development that will renew our interest in following the stories behind both of these stocks even more intently than before:

GrowLife and CEN Biotech Announce Collaboration on the World’s Largest and Most Advanced Legal Cannabis Production Facility New Canadian Facility Capable of Producing Up to 1.3 Million Pounds of Medical Marijuana Annually

VaporBrands International, Inc. VAPR & Hemp, Inc. HEMP

Speaking of stocks in the marijuana sector that have joint ventures with others that we’ve covered extensively, we find VAPR. This one cropped up on our radar with a press release yesterday which ties it to another of our all-time favorite pot stocks; HEMP. The stock has been on the move for the past several sessions, so a note of caution is in order. We may find that the stock pulls back from extensive profit-taking, and in the event that occurs we will be watching closely for a bounce opportunity.

MediaTechnics Corp. MEDT

We also want to radar MEDT, a sub-penny play that has shown a capacity for quick swings in recent weeks. Over the past three sessions the stock has moved up from .0004, to as high as .0017 during trading yesterday. In early January it made a similar move from .0004-.0012, so we have a pretty good idea of the kind of volatility to expect from this play. Triple-zero stocks are known to be high risk, but a properly timed swing can lead to rapid gains for the savvy trader.

CleanPath Resources Corp. CLNP

This is another stock that falls into the high-risk/high-reward category of sub-penny momentum plays. The stock has been as low as .0002 as recently as Monday, and yesterday broke through a psychological barrier at .001, going as high as .0012. We are going to put this on our watchlist in the event of continued momentum pushing it past yesterday’s highs. Should it pull back into sub-.001 territory, we’ll be on the lookout for support and an eventual rebound.

BCAP, PURE, DRWI, CGUD & Extended Watchlist

Baron Capital Enterprise, Inc. BCAP

BCAP had a momentum-filled day yesterday, trading nearly 100M shares, over 4X its 3mo average volume. The stock managed to maintain a higher low of .0008, and hit a higher high at .0012, where it ran into resistance as we pointed out in yesterday’s afternoon alert.

This is the chart from that alert, identifying key resistance levels, at .0012 and .002. On the flipside, should we see a pullback, we would like to see support hold at .0007.

____

PURE Bioscience PURE

PURE was a nice addition to yesterday’s watchlist, opening up at 1.30, and running to 1.60 in the first fifteen minutes of trading. We then saw a pullback to 1.42, before it bounced up to 1.68 by one o’clock. The low of day to the high of day marks 29% gained intraday.

As you can see on the chart, a really sharp trader could have played this more than once yesterday, for cumulative gains upwards of 40-50%

____

Dragonwave, Inc. DRWI

Another nice opportunity for a quick flip, DRWI opened at 2.44 on Thursday, and hit a high of 2.72 right out of the gate, in the first twenty minutes. It then pulled back to 2.45 before shooting back to 2.61 for a quick 11% gain.

____

Com-Guard.com, Inc. CGUD

We began talking about CGUD around the midpoint of last month. After a backslide to .0016 which was reached the day before yesterday, the stock rebounded to close out Thursday’s session at .0034. Ranging from .0016-.0034 marks the possibility of up to 113% gained in just a 48-hour period.

A return to its 52-wk high of .0064 (reached one day prior to our initial alert) would mark nearly another 100% gain.
