Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Bottom-Watchlist & More

Coin Citadel CCTL

Among the plays we signaled in a bitcoin-related watchlist we formulated at the end of May while bitcoin prices were going haywire, was CCTL. We’ve actually been tracking this play for a lot longer than that if you refer to the CCTL Tag on our blog.

As recently as May 23rd, this stock was trading at the bottom of the barrel with a .0001 share price, and it has made just the kind of moves that one might expect from a super-subpenny play that suddenly finds itself in the middle of one of the trendiest market spaces.

Yesterday, we observed CCTL trading as high as .0008, which of course marks a rise of 700% over our witnessed lows in the space of ten trading days. We’re going to want to keep an eye on the stock, and be on the lookout for a key break into the double-zero range.

We’re always searching for a good bottom play, and we’ve got a few to add to our watchlists this morning.

Dragonwave, Inc. DRWI – Up considerably in the premarket and moving to fill a previous gap on the chart this morning is DRWI. The company recently closed a hefty round of funding, which may explain the circumstances which led to it recording a new 52-week low yesterday. The company did, however, announce it has been awarded a big product supply and installation services contract from SmartSky Networks, a North American 4G LTE in-flight service provider. (>>View PR)

Ability, Inc. ABIL
- Also gapping up to a lesser degree in the premarket is ABIL. We’ll want to keep a good eye on this one, as it recently registered a new annual low. If the activity boost we’re seeing this morning develops into a more sustained trend, we could be catching the stock just in time for a recovery.

Sugarmade, Inc. SGMD – Sugarmade is coming off of a bottom on the chart as well, trending up moderately for the month of June so far. This morning the company announced it had received purchase orders for hydroponic growing equipment that could yield as much as $3M this year. (>>View PR)

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Roundup & More

Best Buy Co. Inc. BBY

Our primary area of focus in terms of fresh picks in yesterday’s premarket report was in post-earnings options ideas, and essentially everything worked out in our favor, beginning with our ideas for the Best Buy chain, which were the BBY Weekly $55-58 Calls.

All seven sets of contracts in our highlighted range gave traders a chance at HUGE multi-bag gains on the day ranging from a triple all the way to a TWELVE-bagger!

$55 Calls
– Range: 1.60-6.90 – Max Gain: 341%
$55.50 Calls – Range: 1.12-6.19 – Max Gain: 453%
$56 Calls – Range: 1.00-5.80 – Max Gain: 480%
$56.50 Calls – Range: .61-5.21 – Max Gain: 754%
$57 Calls – Range: .50-4.90 – Max Gain: 880%
$57.50 Calls – Range: .35-4.12 – Max Gain: 1077%
$58 Calls – Range: .29-3.97 – Max Gain: 1269%

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. ANF

Our ANF calls didn’t disappoint either, despite the fact that Abercrombie’s was a much more mixed earnings release.  We said we’d be looking at the ANF Weekly $13 & $13.50 Calls, and saw some solid moves out of both.

The $13 Calls ran from .63 to 1.05 for an intraday push of 67% while the $13.50′s traded in a range from .35-.50, posting an intraday pop of 43%

Based on the present look of the ANF chart, we’ll still want to track these plays heading into the long weekend, but be forewarned, dealing with weekly options contracts on a Friday is for expert traders ONLY!

Big Lots, Inc. BIG – Fresh Idea

We’ve had so much options trading success this earnings season, there’s no reason not to add in a couple more fresh ideas before we break for the holiday weekend.

Big Lots beat on profits and raised guidance in its premarket release today. With no weekly contracts to look at, we’ll put the BIG 06/16 $55 & 57.50 Calls on watch in the weeks ahead.

ULTA Beauty, Inc. ULTA - This play is gapping up hard after its own earnings beat yesterday. We’ll want to keep an eye on the ULTA Weekly $302.50-310 Calls (Again, to be considered by expert traders only)

Coin Citadel CCTL

We offered up a few bitcoin related stocks to watch yesterday in light of the hysteria over bitcoin reaching all-time highs, and the one that outperformed the rest turned out to be CCTL.

Its volatile swings provided solid chances in both the morning and afternoon. First it ran from .0004 to .0007 (+75%), followed by a pullback to .0003 and subsequent 100% run-back to .0006.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BBY Options, XTRN Recap & More

Las Vegas Railway Express XTRN - Update

As we were just mentioning yesterday, a member of our daily live trader’s chat* allowed participants to snag gains of up to 300% on Tuesday as XTRN ran from .0003-.0012.

We also noted the immense volume flowing through the stock, along with a bullish close and suggested that a continuation of momentum was possible. Sure enough XTRN followed up one strong session with another, trading in an intraday range from a low of .001 and reaching as high as .0027, which works out to an intraday run of 260%

That is certainly a premium single-session gain opportunity that was available to all of our subscribers, but chatroom members* could have had a shot at the full two-day swing, which comes out to an incredible 800%

XTRN received an offer to be bought out and merge with XREE, another ‘X-Train’ company that runs scenic train tours, so we’ll be interested to see how that situation plays out.

Best Buy Co. Inc. BBY – Options Idea

Post-earnings options ideas for high-profile companies have produced some of the biggest gains that we come across, so we want to formulate one for BBY today. A unexpectedly strong Q1 release has catapulted the stock here in the premarket where it has touched eleven-year highs.

We are going to be very interested to track BBY Weekly $55-58 Calls for potential swing trades, especially if the stock behaves predictably and executes an early dip-and-rip.

Bonus Idea – Abercrombie & Fitch Co. ANF

ANF posted a mixed earnings release, beating on sales but taking a heavy loss for Q1. Still, the markets as a whole seem bullish, and ANF is gapping up moderately in the premarket. We’ll be looking at the ANF Weekly $13 & $13.50 Calls.

Bitcoin Watchlist

With Bitcoin soaring to its all-time highs, it’s taking a lot of the related stocks along for the ride. In light of this, we want to hash together a bitcoin watchlist to keep an eye on amid this historic trend:

Extended Watchlist:

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: More New Highs for OCRX, Updates

Ocera Therapeutics, Inc. OCRX

We caught OCRX coming up off its bottom and included it in Wednesday’s morning report. That day the stock ran from .77 to 1.15 (+49%) on massive volume.

We mentioned as much in yesterday’s premarket report, highlighting the strong close, and noting that “another bullish session could be forthcoming” provided the stock didn’t dip below 1.10 on any pullbacks. We got just what we were looking for; another bullish session as the stock traded up from 1.24 to 1.94, an intraday increase of 56%

It registers as a two-day swing of 152% over our observed low from Wednesday, and we’re going to want to be on the lookout for the stock to have a strong close to the week as well. It closed at 1.89, just under the high of day, once again with huge volume on the order of sixteen times the monthly average.

Caterpillar, Inc. CAT – Options Update

Our regular readers will recall our options idea on Caterpillar that we offered up in our report from last Friday morning. We were tracking the stock over a significant backslide in the sessions leading up to that and felt it had further to fall, so we highlighted the CAT 04/07 $88-85 Puts, choosing an extended expiration date to give our idea time to mature.

Since then, it has worked like a charm, with our identified contracts each making triple-digit percentage gains as CAT stock continues to fall:

$88 Calls – Range: .50-1.36 – Max Gain: 172%
$87.50 Calls – Range: .51-1.22 – Max Gain: 139%
$85 Calls – Range: .27-.74 – Max Gain: 208%

Bottom-Bounce Watchlist

Catabasis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. CATB – We’re interested to follow CATB, which we noticed is coming up off its bottom and gapping up in the premarket this morning. Even at its early high of 1.79, there’s still a sizable portion of the monster gap we pointed out below left to fill.

Pareteum Corp. TEUM - In the case of TEUM, it began to show hints of a reversal yesterday after several bearish sessions, and it too is gapping up in premarket trading today. We’ll keep an eye on this one as well.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: BURL Recap & More

Burlington Stores, Inc. BURL – Options Update

Our first order of business this morning will be to go back to the options idea we signaled for the BURL chain on Thursday morning, the BURL 03/17 $85-95 Calls. We reported the solid gains that the strong earnings report allowed us on that first day in Friday’s morning report, and today we’ll have to follow up once again to relay the added opportunities we saw to close out the week.

We did caution on Friday that based on premarket activity, our ranges could be extended considerably, and that’s exactly what happened. The updates ranges showing the total moves we seen over a two session span are as follows:

$85 Calls – Range: 5.60-11.13 – Max Gain: 99%
$90 Calls – Range: 2.50-7.35 – Max Gain: 194%
$95 Calls – Range: .71-3.50 – Max Gain: 392%

Galectin Therapeutics, Inc. GALT

GALT is a stock that we began tracking earlier in 2017, including it in our report on January 17th. Shortly following that alert, the stock saw a low of .935 and it hasn’t looked back since.

We followed up with an update of GALT on February 10th, at which time we had seen a relatively modest range of .935 to 1.29 (+38%). We noted that the gains would be “sustainable if GALT can manage to crack past the current 200DMA” (then at 1.32).

That did happen, and on the 15th we posted another followup stating “One more bullish push will get us into double-bagger territory for this idea, and the stock may well make a run into the 2.00-range.” Our assumptions proved spot-on again, as one week later, the stock went on to hit a high of 2.21, representing a total move up from our observed low of .935 amounting to 136%

Once again GALT is heading to highs, this morning trading as high as 2.30 in the premarket on the heels of some positive clinical trial data (>>View PR). We’re going to want to be paying attention to its activity as we open up another trading week, as expectations of extended gains once again do not seem unreasonable.
