Blue Horseshoe Stocks: More Options Ideas

BioMarin Pharmaceutical, Inc. BMRN

BioMarin had a really solid performance yesterday after we signaled some contracts in our premarket report, the BMRN 03/16 $80 & 85 Calls. The stock ran from 81.01 to 84.19 facilitating some modest but solid intraday moves in our contracts.

The $80 Calls ran from 4.40-6.00 for a 32% rise, and the $85’s traded from 2.70-3.50, a gain of 26%

With a strong close at 83.28, and a lot of ground to cover to recoup the losses the stock has seen in the month of February, we’ll look for BMRN to establish a more sustained recovery pattern, and we may see some further increases in these contracts, which still have over a month until expiration.

Under Armour, Inc. UAA

We want to formulate an idea for Under Armour on the heels of the company’s earnings report this morning. The stock had already begun to trend off of its bottom a few sessions ago, and despite posting a Q4 loss, sales were better than expected and the stock is gapping up pretty significantly here in the premarket.

We’re going to want to keep tabs on the UAA Weekly $15.50-16.50 Calls, which could bring us sizable gain opportunities in the day or days to come.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: IZEA, ITUS Recaps & More

ITUS Corp. ITUS

We included a tag of ITUS in this past Thursday’s premarket report, after noticing the stock’s liquidity and price action increasing in a big way in the sessions leading up to that.

Despite already seeing big moves to that point, it was just the start for the excellent run made by this stock in the last three sessions. We observed a low of 1.92 in ITUS on Thursday, and yesterday the stock reached a new high of 4.30. That represents a three-day swing of 124%

Volume over the same period has been vastly greater than average. The whole trend was catalyzed when the company updated shareholders on its cancer detection technology, on the morning of our initial alert.

Helios and Matheson Analytics, Inc. HMNY

We’ve been tracking HMNY since  August 15th, where-after we witnessed a low of 2.42.
We were just mentioning this, and the fantastic multi-bag moves the stock has made since, in yesterday’s premarket report. We also mentioned that based on the previous close, that we’d “look for the continued establishment of higher highs and higher lows.”

Despite already having gone up so much in the course of the last five weeks, the stock’s excellent performance yesterday did push it to new highs yet again. In fact, it streaked all the way to 9.65, representing an overall move of 299% since we began tracking its activity.

IZEA, Inc. IZEA

We also want to reiterate our signal on IZEA yesterday, which made a move of 40% in trading up from its morning low of 4.54 to a high of 6.35. It was a respectable gain, but this morning the stock is gapping up and pushing the $7-mark, so we’ll jeep our eyes peeled for the possibility of a more sustained uptrend.

Apple, Inc. AAPL – Options Idea

With the hint of a reversal and rebound after a rapid weeks-long selloff in AAPL, combined with a premarket gap-up this morning, we’d like to signal a range of AAPL calls to coincide with the activity and possibly help us find some quick-strike trade opportunities. We’ll radar the AAPL Weekly $150-155 Calls to try to do just that.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: ALQA Recap & More

Alliqua, Inc. ALQA

The big winner off our premarket watchlist in yesterday’s report turned out to be ALQA, which had a hard spike early in the session and continued to push more steadily upward over the course of the day leading to a strong close. The activity was fueled by the news that the FDA granted 510(k) clearance for ALQA’a SilverSeal Hydrogel wound dressing.

From its early low of .258 the stock traversed its way up to .45, which goes down as a 74% intraday gain. The move came on nearly forty times the monthly average volume on the stock, and as we just mentioned, it also closed with strength, just a penny below the high of day.

After hours trading also saw the stock achieve a high of .51, and it appears as if it could gap up slightly to start the day. We’ll be on the lookout for signs of a continued uptrend here as we head into this midweek.

Uni-Pixel, Inc. UNXL

Despite looming bankruptcy proceedings for UNXL, our bottom-feeder instincts have kicked in as the stock was punished down to a new all-time lows yesterday and is showing signs of a possible rebound this morning.

This NASDAQ could certainly be on its way to an OTC Markets listing in the future, being nowhere near the minimum bid requirements for the higher exchange. But for the time being, we’re only interested in its immediate situation. Over-abused stocks have had a historical tendency to produce some very nice moves for us as they correct course, so we’re going to place UNXL on watch in coming days.

Rimrock Gold Corp. RMRK

We also wanted to swing back around for a quick update on RMRK this morning. We placed this one on watch last Wednesday morning, catching it before it ran over 300% from .0006-.0025 that afternoon.

After a sharp pullback to .0008 over the ensuing few sessions, the stock  rebounded yesterday, returning to a high of .0019 which marks a 138% swing.

We’ll be watching for it to continue to register higher lows on any further pullbacks. Any stock with this kind of price action and volatility is one that we definitely want to keep a close eye on for more quick strike trade opportunities.
