Blue Horseshoe Stocks: AAPL Review & More

Apple, Inc. AAPL – Options Review

We’re now mentioning the calls we made for the Apple options chain on Tuesday for the third consecutive day, after each of our tracked contracts yet again set new highs during yesterday’s session.

To refresh your memory, we slated the AAPL Weekly $150-155 Calls for observation in Tuesday’s premarket report, and they provided solid gain opportunities ranging from 78-146% that day.

Here are the updated figures showing the lows from Tuesday, to the new highs attained yesterday.

$150 Calls – Range: 2.30-4.80 – Max Gain: 109%
$152.50 Calls – Range: 1.00-2.55 – Max Gain: 155%.
$155 Calls – Range: .28-.89 – Max Gain: 218%

Fresh Options Ideas

While we’re on roll with options calls, we might as well let it ride by selecting a couple of other ideas that are worth monitoring.

Tiffany & Co. TIF – Tiffany’s chart is showing a decent bottom setup, while some insider buying was reported this week near 4-month lows. We’re going to highlight the TIF 10/20 $92-93 Calls and keep them on our radars in the days and weeks ahead.

Blackberry Ltd. BBRY – For a more short-term idea, we’re going to signal the BBRY Weekly $9.50 & $10 Calls on the heels of Blackberry’s premarket earning beat. Prior to today, the stock has hovering around a solid level of support at roughly $9 for quite some time, but today’s release could definitely have a positive effect on the chart. The company posted a beat on profits and revenue, while software sales set company records.

Netflix Inc. NFLX – Options Update

We hope all of our readers enjoyed the long holiday weekend! Our first order of business this morning is to provide an update on Friday’s options trading idea. We signaled our interest in tracking the NFLX Weekly $93.50-95.50 Calls for potential daytrades, and every one of the contracts within our targeted range allowed for multi-bag single-session gains.

$93.50 Calls – Range: 1.47-3.22 – Max Gain: 119%
$94 Calls – Range: 1.16-2.75 – Max Gain: 137%
$94.50 Calls – Range: .97-2.50 – Max Gain: 158%
$95 Calls – Range: .57-2.00 – Max Gain: 251%
$95.50 Calls – Range: .31-1.53 – Max Gain: 394%

We always issue the same warning when we submit a weekly options idea on a Friday, stating that it is very high-risk. While that is true, the high reward factor like we saw here is what keeps us interested in this sort of options trading.

More Updates

Lot78, Inc. LOTE – This was one of a pair of stocks we tagged for observation in Thursday morning’s premarket report, which finished off the week on a strong note. From a low of .0037, it surged to .0063 toward the end of the session. It closed at that high of day, having made an intraday jump of 70%

We’ll remain interested in LOTE moving forward provided it can maintain support at or above the .0046 level.

______

GreenGro Technologies, Inc. GRNH – This is a stock that we’ve literally mentioned dozens of times in the past. Most recently was on Thursday, at which time we witnessed the stock trading at a nickel. Friday, it managed to reach .07, an overnight increase of 40%

We’ll also leave this on our radars going forward to watch for signs of a continued uptrend.

SAExplorations Holdings, Inc. SAEX

We’re going to be keeping an eye on SAEX, which raised flags on Friday with a hearty 70% bounce off of its 52-week low, established on Thursday.

Whenever we see stocks in this position, we’re interested in the possibility of taking advantage of the volatility and possible recovery. A return to even the current 50DMA of .48, where the stock was trading merely a week ago, would spell double-bag gains from current PPS levels.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Fresh Ideas, Reviewing Winners & More

Eagle Bulk Shipping, Inc. EGLE

We caught sight of a stock that’s been building a cherry of a chart in the form of a nice bottom-bounce, the momentum from which it has sustained over the past four sessions.

We went ahead and pointed out a few highlights on the chart below. Despite already being up considerably above recent lows, a number of indicators still give us a bullish feeling on EGLE at the moment. We’ll be looking for a break of key resistance at the current 50DMA of .83. As you can see, the stock has demonstrated high month-to-month volatility, and recently made a brief but impressive swing into the three-dollar range.

We’ll keep the play on our radar in coming sessions as a return to much higher levels seems perfectly plausible at the present time.

PBR Options Recap

Before we jump into the fresh ideas we’ve worked out for today, we just want to take a second to go over the gains possible from one of Friday’s options calls. We said we wanted to track the PBR Weekly $5-6 Calls, and it was the 5.50’s that performed the best for the day.

We saw those contracts trade up from a low of .18 and reach .32 for a solid chance at up to 78% profits for the session.

Strikeforce Technology, Inc. SFOR

We also want to recap the excellent performance we’ve seen from SFOR in the seven sessions since our initial alert on the stock in our premarket report from March 31st. On that day, we witnessed a low of .0007, and the stock hasn’t looked back yet.

On Friday alone, the stock made a healthy 80% intraday rip from a low of .001-.0018. That high also registered as a 157% overall upswing over our observed low.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Fresh Options Ideas, VAPE Recap & More

Fresh Options Ideas

The markets made a notable upturn following yesterday’s Fed meeting from which we learned that it will be proceeding with caution regarding a potential interest rate hike. The floundering world economy as well as trouble with low inflation domestically were cited as reasons behind the reticence. Despite the note of uncertainty, there is nothing ambiguous about the overall market sentiment at present, which is leading us to formulate some bullish ideas on the options-trading front.

SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY)

We’ve enjoyed tons of success trading SPY options in the past when we need a close analog of the markets as a whole, so it stands to reason that we call out a new idea for some SPY Calls this morning. We’re going to be paying attention to the SPY Weekly $204-206 Calls.

Apple, Inc. AAPL

AAPL seemed to enjoy a boost in the wake of the US Government’s dismissal of the federal court case which had embroiled the two in recent weeks. After enjoying a steady increases throughout the session, the stock is currently gapping up in the premarket. Our target range here is going to be AAPL Weekly $107-109 Calls.

Ambarella, Inc. AMBA

We flagged AMBA in yesterday’s watchlist and it too produced a bullish session. In addition to being connected with AAPL being a provider of internal hardware for Apple devices, AMBA received an upgrade from analysts at Morgan Stanley. We’ve got a corresponding options idea for this one as well. For this play, we’re looking to the AMBA Weekly $44-46 Calls.

Lulu Lemon Athletica, Inc. LULU

LULU is gapping this morning on the heels of an earnings beat, so we’re going to want to signal some calls here as well. This is another stock whose options chain has provided us with ammunition for extreme gains in the past. We’ll be monitoring the LULU Weekly $62-65.50 Calls.

With everything gapping up in the premarket, we’ll of course be on the lookout for possible dip-and-rip scenarios prior to the execution of any of these ideas.

Vape Holdings, Inc. VAPE

We can officially add VAPE to the list of cannabis-related stocks that we’ve witnessed making appreciable upswings this week. We added it to yesterday’s morning report as another pot-play to keep an eye on, and we’re immediately rewarded with a solid opportunity for some single-session gains.

VAPE traded in a range from .0106 to .017 on the day, giving traders the chance at profits of up to 60% The move came in conjunction with the announcement of another round of debt restructuring and consolidation (>>View PR).

We’ve added new cannabis candidates to our radar each day this week, and we’ll repeat that again today, pinning CANL and MCOA to our watchlist.

Options Review – Yesterday’s Big Winners
___
For some of our readers that may not have previously understood why we like to mix options-trading ideas in with our equities ideas, yesterday’s session served as an excellent example. All three of the stocks whose options chains we were tracking provided folks with substantial opportunities for lucrative daytrades. Here’s a breakdown:
___

Ford Motor Co. (F) – On the heels of the revelation that Ford had set revenue records and beat earning expectations for Q2, we saw the chance to leverage the resultant action on the chart to our great advantage. The range of contracts that we flagged for observation was the F Weekly $14.50 and $15 Calls. As the $15’s fell just shy of being pushed into the money, the main thrust of the action was in the $14.50’s. Those contracts went big, with a surge from a low of .18 all the way up to .42; an intraday spike of 133% We’ll be on the lookout for potential dip-and-rip scenarios in Ford to create the possibility of further opportunities as the week wears on.
___

Pfizer, Inc. PFE – it was also a beat on earnings that propelled our PFE ideas to substantial intraday gains. Our specific area of interest were the PFE Weekly $34.50 and $35 Calls. The $34.50’s made an impressive move from .26-.88 for total possible gains of 238% and the $35’s really performed with a monster 410% run from .10-.51!

___

Baidu, Inc. BIDU – In a departure from our standard options M.O., we identified a chance to play some Puts as BIDU was taking an absolute shellacking after its own earnings missed the mark. The downfall continued throughout the session, and fueled the success of our observed contracts, which were the BIDU Weekly Puts in the $180-175 Range. The trading ranges and maximum gains on all three sets of contracts were as follows:

$180 Calls – Daily Range: 8.00-18.05 – Max Gain: 126%
$177.50 Calls – Daily Range: 5.20- 14.90 – Max Gain: 187%
$175 Calls – Daily Range: 3.88-13.10 – Max Gain: 238%
