Blue Horseshoe Stocks: JNUG Recap & Much More

Direxion Daily Jr Gld Mnrs Bull 3X ETF  (JNUG) – Recap

Despite only providing a fleeting opportunity for gains on Tuesday morning after we submitted our options trading idea for the JNUG chain, we followed up with a reminder in yesterday’s report that the idea was still in play, and that we’d need to keep our heads on a swivel looking out for the move we were hoping for.

With the help of a Fed rate hike of a quarter of a percentage point, announced by Chairperson Janet Yellen yesterday, our specified contracts, the JNUG 03/31 $7-8 Calls took a serious turn for the better.

The daily ranges and potential profits were as follows:

$7 Calls – Range: .40-1.40 – Max Gain: 250%
$7.50 Calls – Range: .35-1.00 – Max Gain: 186%
$8 Calls – Range: .20-.87 – Max Gain: 335%

Once again, we’re going to reiterate our interest in these ideas, which could be in line to extend their highs, with JNUG gapping up in early trading this morning.

Aralez Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ARLZ

We placed ARLZ on bottom watch yesterday morning in what turned out to be a fantastic stroke of good timing. We just wanted to update readers this morning on the reversal which did indeed occur during the session. While the intraday gain potential topped out at 25% as the stock ran from the open (and also low of day) at 2.11 to as much as 2.63.

The inverted hammer candle that the stock posted yesterday is often thought to be an indicator of the end of a downward pattern, so we’ll be very interested to continue tracking ARLZ in sessions to come. Chart indicators are still looking very ripe, and we’d be surprised if the show was over after just a 25% rise.

Cannabis Sector Comments

Lastly, we just want to address the cannabis sector, particularly those stocks that are connected to legal recreational marijuana. After some very damaging comments made recently by the Trump Administration wherein it was suggested that the government could crack down on legal weed, yesterday we witnessed something of a reversal from Jeff Sessions.

Sessions appeared to hint at insufficient DOJ funding as a primary reason that perhaps the current regime will not be changing Obama-era guidance on leaving the treatment of recreational weed as a states’ rights issue.

On the heels of this development, we’re going to want to keep closer tabs on the cannabis sector once again, particularly those plays that lost a lot of ground after the first round of comments from Washington.

Some of our go-to favorites in the space have been OWCP, TRTC, SING, SGDH, CBIS, and MJNA, so we’ll be tracking these more closely in the days and weeks ahead, along with the sector as a whole, as stated above.

Fresh Options Idea:

The TSLA chart is looking ripe for a recovery, and the stock is gapping up moderately in premarket trading this morning. We want to signal a range of calls to monitor in the TSLA chain to potentially take advantage of what could be a protracted recovery. We’re going to zero in on the TSLA 04/07 $270-277.50 Calls, and monitor them in the days and weeks ahead.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Potential Bottom-Plays & More

Potential Rebound Plays

U.S. Stem Cell, Inc. USRM  -We caught USRM for some nice gain opportunities a couple of weeks back. We had initially begun tracking this play after mentioning it on the morning of February 27th. Subsequent to that, we had witnessed an impressive run from a low of .014  to .0545, for a 289% gain in a span of just two sessions.

That was followed by an expected period of consolidation, but it appears as if USRM has found support at .0175. We’re going to want to return to monitoring this play more closely on the chance that it could be gearing up for another run. If it produced a move even a fraction of what we saw before, it will be worth its slot on our watchscreens.

______

Iconic Brands, Inc. ICNB – Speaking of familiar plays that could be in line for a rebound in upcoming sessions, we want to swing back around to ICNB this week. We had tracked this one to some decent gains after tagging it for observation on January 24th. Following that, the stock would trade in a range from .018 up to .0339, a respectable move of 88%

But like the above-mentioned stock, after its run, it basically underwent a big-time consolidation which lasted nearly a whole month. That brings us up to yesterday, when we noticed ICNB giving off something of a rebound signal. We’ll go back to watching more closely in the next few sessions.

Aralez Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ARLZ – Bottom Watcher

ARLZ has been falling off a cliff this week, and despite the fact that it may yet have further to fall, we’re going to want to begin monitoring it as it attempts to sniff out a solid support level. There could definitely be some opportunities waiting for traders that can properly time the recovery.

Direxion Daily Jr Gld Mnrs Bull 3X ETF  (JNUG) – Reminder

Apart from some quick chances for early gains yesterday, our freshly formulated options idea for JNUG may need some time to mature. That’s why we chose an expiration date a couple of weeks out. We’ll continue to have the JNUG 03/31 $7-8 Calls on our radars moving forward.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Several Key Updates

Intercloud Systems, Inc. ICLD

In yesterday’s report kicking off the new trading week, we backtracked to our alert of ICLD coming in our report from two Thursday’s ago, at which time the stock was trading at a low of .0157.

We mentioned how it had risen exponentially since that report, and specifically cautioned our readers to track its movements closely right from yesterday’s opening bell. The strength of the ICLD close on Friday was simply too strong to ignore and despite already having spiked considerably for us up to that point, the stock turned in another fantastic intraday performance.

From an early low of .05, the stock ran all the way to .0869 during the course of a session where it steadily climbed all day long and closed near its high. That marked an intraday boost of 74% and and an overall move up of 340% from our observed low from Thursday the 2nd,

Once again, with the intensely bullish close to another session, we’re going to have our eyes peeled for further moves from ICLD, whether they come in the form of a continued push upward, or are preceded by a dip-and-rip pattern off of these impressive highs.

Ciber, Inc. CBR

Prior to yesterday, CBR had been stuck in a rut for quite some time, but we noticed some abnormal premarket activity and decided to include it in yesterday’s report. It was a good idea, with CBR running from .4329 to .65, which works out to a 50% intraday pop.

The move came in conjunction with the company announcement that it was mulling over an unsolicited offer to be acquired through merger by Ameri Holdings, Inc. (AMRH) which values it at .75/share of CBR stock.

Given that the stock is still trading in the low .60′s at present, we’ll be interested to continue to monitor its progress as the company deliberates the merger offer.

More Key Updates

Cerulean Pharmaceuticals, Inc. CERU - We began tracking CERU just over a month ago, and after an extended period of slow and steady increases, finally yesterday the stock broke out in a more significant manner.

Our initial alert on CERU came on the 3rd of February, at which time the stock was trading at a low of 1.11. Yesterday the stock streaked to an impressive new high of 2.65, which comes out to a total upswing of 139%

______

Aurinia Pharmaceuticals, Inc. AUPH -  AUPH is another stock we’ve been tracking for much of 2017 so far that also broke to new highs yesterday. We witnessed a low of 2.95 in AUPH subsequent to our alert on the stock dated January 27th. Gradual increases over the next month would occur, and since we’ve hit the month of March, the stock has been going haywire.

Yesterday AUPH soared to (and closed at) 10.54 which represents a total move of 257% in less than six weeks!

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Yesterday’s Major Movers & More

It was a great start to the 2017 trading year yesterday, with multiple movers offering up opportunities for solid single-session gains. In addition to a handful of the stocks we were watching streaking their way upward, our options idea also fared well, with the markets in general kicking off the year on a strong note.

Mountain High Acquisitions Corp. MYHI – First up is MYHI, which exhibited a big breakout from a low of  .09 and running as high as .1745. That was good for the largest intraday gain, coming in at 94% and occurring on considerable volume.

We’ll continue to monitor the situation with MYHI, and possibly be on the lookout for a dip-and-rip pattern. Should the stock briefly come down off of these highs, there could be another opportunity to time the subsequent bounce.
_____

Oceanic Research & Recovery Inc. ORRV – ORRV has continuously pushed the envelope since we first began talking about it a week ago today and yesterday was no exception. We observed yet another big run, with the stock jumping from .0019 to a new high of .0036. That goes down as an intraday pop of 89%, and extends our observed range on this play inside a week by a considerable margin.

As of the .0005 we witnessed last week, yesterday’s top mark represented a total upswing of 620%

*Side Note: Anyone who participates in our daily traders chats could have gotten in even lower the previous day, at .0003, from which point yesterday’s new high marked a move of 1100%  *Send a Skype contact request to “stocksumo” to participate in our in-session traders chats!
_____

Hiru Corp HIRU – Another excellent play was HIRU, which started the day off at a low of .0008 and persisted with a steady climb throughout the session to wind up closing at its high of day, at .0013.

That was a daily increase of  63% and of course, anytime we see a stock end the session at its high, we always want to be on the lookout for continued momentum.

ProShares Short VIX Short-Term Futures SVXY

Suspecting that the bullish premarket sentiment would spill over into yesterday’s trading session, we signaled some options in the SVXY chain, namely the SVXY Weekly $93.50-95.50 Calls.

While we didn’t sweep the range in terms of hefty gains, there was considerable open interest in two sets which allowed for significant profits- the $94 and $95 Calls. The $94′s ran from  2.30-3.64 (+58%), and the $95′s traded up from 1.75 as high as 3.39 (+94%)
_____

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. ANF – Fresh Options Idea

We want to signal a range of options ideas for ANF, which is just coming off of its annual lows, and showing some signs of a reversal.

We’ll want to be ready to take advantage of a recovery, by using the ANF 02/17 $12-15 Calls, which gives us several weeks for a rebound to materialize. That being said, the gain opportunities could come sooner rather than later, so we want to be mindful of that.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: More Big Moves From MBHC and WSTI

Mobile Broadcasting Holding, Inc. MBHC

We’ve been very pleased with the way MBHC has performed over the past three sessions since our first mention at the beginning of this week, achieving a higher high each day. Monday’s session brought cumulative gains totaling 94%, and Tuesday’s swings cumulatively amounted to 95%

Yesterday, after bouncing off of the 100DMA  the stock went on a late-day run into the close, surging from .005-.0096. That registered as an intraday run of 92% so its clear to see why we might refer to this play as a flippers dream this week. The amount of price action has been really exciting, and we’re going to remain extremely vigilant for the potentiality of even more opportunities coming our way with this stock.

The exceptional performance has certainly been aided by the current vibe coming from the company through its latest press releases, and the enormity of the results that would be produced if the launch of their interactive live mobile video streaming platform continues to go as planned. We’ll certainly be watching closely for future updates as they come down the pipeline and will be sure to pass them along when they do.

As far as a new current outlook for the MBHC chart, we’ve drawn up another helpful video highlighting some key points. Be sure to check it out:

WindStream Technologies, Inc. WSTI

Our continued tracking of WSTI was rewarded yesterday, with the stock performing precisely as we suggested it might for the second straight day.

We alerted this stock as a potential bottom-play on Tuesday, and that day we witnessed a 76% intraday run from .0085-.015. In yesterday’s report, we explicitly suggested that folks watch out for a dip fueled by early profit-taking, followed by a subsequent bounce, and it went off without a hitch.

The stock dipped to a morning low of .013 before running to a new high of .02, marking an intraday pop of 54% The new high also registers as a session-over-session increase of  135% from our observed low on Tuesday. Cheers to any of our readers who were following this gem along with us!
