Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Roundup & More

OPTIONS ROUNDUP

One of our top activities each day is poring over the previous day’s post-market quarterly earnings reports, as well as the premarket releases from that morning, in order to find those stock most likely to produce the type of volatility we look for to make quick-strike trades.

 Options Ideas

We’re sticking with options as we head into the end of what has been quite a difficult week for stocks in general. All things considered, we still feel it’s the most probable way of coming by short term gain opportunities, even amid less-than-ideal conditions.

Walmart, Inc. WMT – Walmart reported its Q3 earnings this morning, and looks like our top target for the day as a result. Heightened sales, both brick and mortar and via Walmart.com, was the name of the game, as the company jacked up guidance on profits for the 2019 full year.

These developments are definitely moving the needle this morning, so we’re going to want to track the WMT Weekly $101-104 Calls.
_____

Cisco Systems, Inc. CSCO – In its own Q1 report in the post-market yesterday, we have an untraded-upon earnings and revenue beat for CSCO, so we’re also going to formulate an idea here.

In conjunction with a solid multiple bottom formation on the chart, the present conditions may favor our chances for a quick strike trade on the CSCO Weekly $45-50-47.50 Calls.
_____

Bonus Idea:

AMRN Weekly $15.50-17 Calls

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: YGYI Update & More

Youngevity International Inc. YGYI

We began tracking YGYI the Thursday before last, on the 4th, and subsequently witnessed a low of 6.00 before the stock began to ascend sharply.

On Friday, despite already having produced significant gain opportunities for us, the YGYI once again made an impressive move, streaking to a new high of 14.40. That works out to an overall move of 140% accompanied by some of the highest volume sessions in the history of the stock.  As YGYI streaks to seven year highs and into the blue sky, we’ll continue to keep tabs on its activity.

Canadian Cannabis Legalization Finally Arrives

We have been proponents of the Canadian cannabis sector for quite a long time, and we have finally reached the moment we’ve been waiting for- the nationwide legalization of recreational marijuana. Originally slated for July, the delays will now finally come to an end, which means the fun is just getting started. Wednesday is the big day.

Here is a list of Canadian cannabis stocks that we’ve tracked in the past to watch in the midst of this very exciting, key moment in Canada’s history, and indeed the history of cannabis itself:

ACBFF, APHQF, ATTBF, CRON, GLDFF, GLNNF, ISOLF, NXTTF, MRRCF, SPRWF, & TWMJF

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SPY Options & More

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. HPE

There hasn’t been a day in quite some time when we we’ve offered  options trading ideas to our readers and didn’t come out successful. Yesterday was definitely no exception. Our premarket report contained a flag of the HPE Weekly $16.50 & $17 Calls.

In both cases, double bag gains or better could have been achieved, with the $16.50′s making a perfect double as they ran from .55-1.10, and the $17′s pushing the envelope a bit more, rising 186% from .21-.60.

SPDRA S&P 500 ETF (SPY) – Options Idea

With the markets appearing to be in line for another solid push, we’re going to confine our fresh idea this morning to the SPY. We have traditionally had much success with trading options in this particular fund.

Today we’re going to be looking at the SPY Weekly $290-291.50 Calls, to watch into the end of the week.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Chatroom Calls, Fresh Ideas & More

Chatroom Reminder

It had been awhile since we reminded our reader of our daily stock and options traders chats on Skype. They are a free and open forum for any of our readers to participate in, and a great way to get extra ideas that aren’t included in our morning reports.

Often the hottest plays don’t become apparent until just prior to, or just after the open, and those are the ones that you can catch in our chats, along with sharing ideas of your own.

DRUS was a big winner uncovered by DJ, a regular participant in the chats, yesterday just seconds into the session. Following DRUS being mentioned in the room, the stock ran from .0057-.0325, for whopping gains of 470%

As you can see, there were some SPY calls mentioned in the room as well, and those too did very well on the day. Both those, and DRUS appear to want to continue moving today as well.

As stated above, all of our subscribers are free to join in these chats, by simply sending a Skype contact request to username ‘stocksumo‘.

Fresh Options Idea:
We’ll also look to roll up strike prices and observe the SPY Weekly $272.50-274 Calls

South American Gold Corp. SAGD

What did make it into our premarket newsletters yesterday was SAGD, a stock whose company is about to make a shift into the cannabis space. While it didn’t begin to run just yet, we’re still very interested in the current setup of the chart.

We have posted a video chart going over why we believe SAGD is worthy of continued observation which we encourage you to view by clicking the graphic below:

UpperSolution.com URSL

Another honorable mention from yesterday’s premarket report is URSL, and it too is one we’ll want to continue to keep an eye on based on its setup on the chart.

We identified URSL as a potential bounce play yesterday, and the stock subsequently rebounded from a low of 1.70 to 2.27; a 34% swing. Further recovery could be in order so this one will remain on our radars into the holiday break.
