Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SITO News & More

SITO Mobile Ltd.  SITO

Popping up on our scanner this morning is SITO, which, per a premarket PR (excerpt below) released this morning, has entered into an asset purchase agreement with Hipcricket (HIPP).

Upon approval, this deal will create in SITO, one of the largest mobile ad/marketing firms in the industry. This also comes in the wake of what has apparently been a good year for the company. According to SITO’s CEO, 2014 was “a transformative year… which included 27% year-over-year revenue growth”.

These are all reasons why the fact that we’re catching SITO coming off of its 52-low could carry some potentially exciting opportunities on the chart. We’ll have our eyes peeled for further updates on the progress of the deal as we tag SITO for monitoring in the days and weeks ahead.

Medican Enterprises, Inc. MDCN

Speaking of plays coming up off of their annual lows, MDCN represented a feat of perfect timing for us yesterday. We noted that the stock had reached its lowest point of the past year on Thursday, and the rebound offered up the chance at a 57% intraday move to kick off yesterday’s trading session.

Beginning from an early low of .023, the stock surged as high as .036 around 11am, with the bulk of the day’s volume (which exceeded the monthly average by threefold) having traded in that time frame.

Congrats go out to any of our readers who were able to reap a profit off of that excellently-timed call of MDCN!

We’re interested to follow the main MDCN storyline, being the recently announced purchase of a 7200sq.ft. commercial facility and dispensary in Phoenix, AZ. We’ll be certain to relay any developments as they come down the pipe.

Netflix, Inc. NFLX – Options Ideas

NFLX continues to surge on yesterday’s after-hours earnings beat in this morning’s premarket activity, and it sets us up nicely for a possible play on some options calls.

What we’d expect to see is some early profit-taking, causing a classic dip-and-rip, and thereafter we’ll be looking to take advantage. Provided the stock holds support above today’s premarket low of 394.80 we’ll be paying close attention to the  $395-410 Calls for possible intraday/intraweek flip opportunities.

Side Note: GPRO is also bouncing off a recent bottom, and has our attention as a solid recovery play, therefore we will want to radar call options there as well.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: LAKE Recap & More

Lakeland Industries, Inc. LAKE

Yesterday’s report turned up another premium opportunity for us to take advantage of a big intraday move. LAKE produced the largest percentage gain on the NASDAQ, starting out in the morning at a low of 10.32, and pressing upward all day long, hitting its high of 13.68 just prior to the closing bell. That equates to a strong 32% increase, and it came on more than twice the 3-month average volume.

LAKE is probably going to be a stock that we’ll want to monitor into the new year, following the recent revelation that the company would be releasing its Q3 financials on December 10th, which are expected to include increased sales to the tune of +15%  We’ve been made aware that those numbers will not reflect international sales or impact from Ebola-related orders which are expected to be realized in fiscal Q4 2015 (period ending 01/31/15) >> Read PR

Options-Trading Side Note:

We want to give ourselves a pat on the back for accurately determining how to approach PBR this week. Just to give a quick rundown; we outlined the PBR January 17th $10 and $11 Calls in Monday’s report. We watched as they dipped back and gave us a good chance for a discounted entry, and in yesterday’s premarket report, stated that we’d attempt to reap our profits on the gap-up that was in progress.

From the lows we observed Monday, ($10: 1.16, $11: .67) we were able to achieve significant gains at yesterday’s early highs. The $10 Calls ran as high as 1.57 (+35%) and the $11 Calls saw the 1.00-mark (+49%).

There’s still plenty of time before these contracts expire, so there’s a good chance that we’ll be able to realize further opportunities down the road from the PBR 01/17 $10 and $11 Calls.

Let us take this opportunity to wish all of our members a safe and happy holiday, and we’ll see everyone for a half-session on Friday.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Recapping RPI & JNUG

Roberts Realty Investors, Inc. RPI

RPI was a standout from yesterday’s extended watchlist; it began the day trading at an early low of .86 before gradually building throughout the session to a high of 1.16. The move marked the chance at up to 38% in intraday gains for us, and came on substantial volume to the tune of 36X the 3-month average.

The move came following a PR on Wednesday that iterated the details of a purchase agreement with A-III Investment Partners LLC, whereby the company intends to purchase $12M worth of RPI, giving a tentative execution price estimate of 1.40/share. >>> Full PR

For that reason, we will allow RPI to remain on our watchlist for the time being. A move to the figure mentioned in Wednesday’s PR would mean added gains of more than 35% from the present level.

Direxion Daily Jr Gld Mnrs Bull 3X ETF (JNUG)

JNUG continued to perform well for us following its inclusion in yesterday’s report, making a modest yet notable 13% intraday move from a low of 4.86 and peaking at 5.50. This ETF has offered us the chance at several swing trade opportunities in the weeks since we first began tracking it in October, and like we said yesterday, will remain of interest as we approach a time of year when worldwide gold demand is generally at a high level.

We’re seeing a significant gap-up this morning as well into the 5.80-range. The recent low we’ve seen from JNUG came on November 5th at 2.84, meaning that in a span of just over two weeks, we’ve already witnessed a greater-than 100% increase.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options Review, MKHD Recap

Reviewing Friday’s Options Calls

First thing today, we’d like to rehash a portion of Friday’s report that we didn’t get a chance to discuss yesterday. Our regular followers will recall the added note we included regarding a few options trading ideas we were considering. As a result of favorable jobs numbers released that morning, we pointed out our interest in trading Calls in SPY, AA, ISRG, & GPRO.

Regardless of which selection one used to take advantage of the trend, it was met with potentially lucrative results. The dip-and-rip pattern we were on the lookout for showed itself across the board. For example, one of the biggest standouts out of the bunch were the SPY $195 weekly calls had traded as low as .52, and made it to roughly 2.00.

Moving forward, we’ve got another set of options to monitor. One of our favorite options trading cash-cows this year has been PBR, and yesterday the stock had a big bounce following last week’s selloff. As a result we’re going to radar November $16 Calls, and see if we can once again use PBR to our advantage as we have countless times already this year.

Mount Knowledge Holdings, Inc. MKHD

After a significant performance following our first mention of MKHD (Range: .042-.085 +102%) the stock has done a good job of maintaining higher levels of support, and we just wanted to re-state why we are so keen to follow this light volume trader.

The thing that mainly drew us to MKHD last week was the PR the company released regarding its acquisition of cyber-security firm Civergy, Inc; an outfit which generated revenues in excess of $35M last year. Further details of the deal were released in an 8-K on Wednesday, and we’re anxious to see what kind of lasting effect the merger will have on MKHD.

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: RSH Update & More

Radio Shack Corp. RSH

RSH has made regular appearances in our reports over the past couple of months, starting in the beginning of August, when we caught the stock off of its 52-week low of .55.

Following a major run-up to the 1.60-range on August 29th, the stock has been under a general consolidation amid bankruptcy rumors. This week, the company was hinting at possible refinancing deal that would allow them to avoid that situation for the time being, and this morning, that deal was confirmed.

As a result, the stock is up significantly today, having traded as high 1.65 in the premarket. We’re going to want to see support hold at previous resistance points at 1.15 and 1.30. Already, at today’s early highs, we’re seeing more than a 100% increase off of the lows we observed following our most recent RSH alert (.80)

Rockwell Medical, Inc. RMTI

RMTI is another morning gapper that we’re going to place on watch today. With the stock coming off of a recent bottom, it’s going to be interesting to see how today’s development affects its price action.

The company put out a hefty PR this morning regarding a commercialization/distribution deal with Baxter Healthcare (BAX):

WIXOM, Mich., Oct. 3, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Rockwell Medical, Inc. (RMTI), a fully-integrated biopharmaceutical company targeting end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) with innovative products and services for the treatment of iron replacement, secondary hyperparathyroidism and hemodialysis, announced today that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Baxter Healthcare Corporation, a subsidiary of Baxter International Inc. (BAX), to commercialize Rockwell’s hemodialysis concentrate product line in the U.S. and in select overseas markets.>> VIEW PR

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. BCRX

BCRX appeared on Wednesday in our extended watchlist, and what has followed has been two fruitful sessions in a row. From a low of 9.89 on Wednesday, we witnessed as the stock bulled its way into yesterday’s close, reaching a daily high of 11.49, a solid 16% overnight increase.

Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. INO

Speaking of pharma plays, INO, a stock that has appeared several times in our reports recently, is also making moves concurrently with the present concern over the Ebola virus outbreak. The company actually has a Ebola vaccine with which they’ve reported success in treating animals with the deadly virus. Anything to do with Ebola is getting a lot of attention at present, and INO is no exception.

Side Note:

Jobs numbers were out this morning, to a positive reception. We will subsequently be looking for dip-and-rip opportunities with regard to options trading. Friday is characteristically a day when premiums start to come down as a result of time decay, with expirations looming. We’re looking at potential opportunities trading Calls in plays like SPY, AA, ISRG, & GPRO.
