Blue Horseshoe Stocks: NADL Update, Options & More

North Atlantic Drilling Ltd. NADL

NADL topped our list of potential bottom-plays in yesterday morning’s premarket report, and it ended up being the primary runner of the day.

We picked up on the stock on a routine scan, after noticing a sizable gap-up in the morning, coupled with the fact that the stock had been repeatedly beaten down over an extended period. All the signs seemed to be pointing toward a significant day for NADL, and that’s exactly what transpired.

The stock traded in a daily range from 1.73 on up to 2.87, for a highly respectable single-session swing of 66% that came in on mind-bending volume, on the order of 150X the 30-day average. That type of momentum always has a shot at carrying over, and sure enough, NADL is gapping in the premarket once again today.

The early high is in the 3.50’s, extending to total rise we’ve witnessed in less than 24 hours to roughly 100% and it puts us on alert once again today. We’ll be looking for higher highs and higher lows as usual as we watch this one play out.

Excellent Chatroom Calls

Every once in awhile we like to remind our readers on our website as well as our daily newsletter recipients that we conduct live trader’s chats via Skype on a daily basis, and any of our readers is more than welcome to participate. All you need to do to get in on the action is send a Skype contact request to username ‘stocksumo’. You can sit in and get ideas or offer up some of your own!

Yesterday, one of our chatters gave the room a heads up on Bravatek Solutions, Inc. BVTK shortly before 11AM, and the stock ultimately ran from .0002 to .0011, for an intraday pop of 540% on nearly two billion shares traded.

That brings us to another fantastic call, this time by our very own Stock Sumo, who brought American Leisure Holdings, Inc. AMLH to the attention of the room on March 27th, after which time there was plenty of opportunity to get in at .0003. The stock subsequently ran to a high of .007 two weeks (11 trading days) later, marking an enormous 2233% increase!

If these aren’t reasons to get involved with our daily trader’s chats, then we don’t know what is! There have been a multitude of super-subpenny runners over recent weeks, and these two are prime examples of why we continue to press the issue.

New Options Ideas

We don’t want to spend all of our focus on the stock side of things though, especially with our continued success with options trading, so we want to formulate a few ideas based on some things we’re seeing in the premarket.

Lululemon Athletica, Inc. LULU – We want to signal both some weekly and extended-range calls this morning on LULU, which has been making attempts at coming off of recent relative lows, with a massive gap on the chart to the upside. We could see this returning to fill at least a portion of that gap. We’ll have our eyes on the LULU Weekly $52-53.50 Calls as well as the 05/06 $55-57 Calls.

Delta Air Lines, Inc.DAL – We’re looking at DAL for a possible short-term play after its earnings beat this morning. Profits fell by a less-than-expected margin, while positive Q2 guidance was issued. Coupled with a major PR disaster for one of its main competitors this week, and we’re definitely interested in seeing if DAL can make an appreciable move. If it does, we’ll be looking at the DAL Weekly $45.50-47.50 Calls.

Blue Horseshoe: Pot Stocks Still Soaring, VRS, PLUG & More

Pot Stocks Still Soaring
Why have we been pounding the table so hard on marijuana stocks lately? The simple answer is that they have stolen the show thus far in 2014, piling on monstrous gains left, right , and center. It is literally the hottest OTC sector right now, so if you’re sick of us talking about it day in and day out, we’re not sure why! A person would have to hate making money to not be interested in the magic we’ve been witnessing in stocks that have even the slightest connection to cannabis. So many of these gems have been on the move, that it’s impossible to mention them all, but here are a few of the more substantial gainers from yesterday’s session. Some of them rose so much it borders on the surreal!
GreenGrow Technologies, Inc. GRNH

We were lauding GRNH yesterday morning for the wonderful 311% gain it had afforded us from our alert low of .045 to .185. However, that was only a taste of what was in store for us. GRNH morphed into a hulking beast as it pushed the envelope all day long, rocketing to a high of .55! From yesterday’s daily low (for all those who have been sleeping under a rock for the past week) gains of 162% were possible on the day; but from our recent low of .045, the gains are far more impressive, to the tune of 1122% in only FOUR trading sessions! It’s kind of hard not to pat ourselves heartily on the back for that one. It’s not too often we see a ten-bagger, and we were all over this one like white on rice!

Creative Edge Nutrition, Inc. FITX

The more we think about it, the more we’re realizing that yesterday’s report read less like a newsletter, and more like a who’s-who of winning picks. From our recently observed low of .0054 (Monday), FITX absolutely tore its way to a high of .0189, representing a two-day move of 250%  Even those showing up late to the party, only catching yesterday’s report, could have ended up with single-session gains of up to 170%

Tranzbyte Corp. ERBB

ERBB also put forth a performance worthy of celebration yesterday. Our morning mention included congratulating our readers on a 35% possible gain from the day prior, as we had witnessed a low of .0026. Yesterday, the stock followed up a good performance with a great one, trading in a range from .0038-.0086 (+126%). From our alert low on ERBB at .0026, yesterday’s high marks a 231% increase, practically overnight.

In addition to those monstrous gainers, there were those that put up more modest, yet still significant increases:

Terra Tech Corp. TRTC

Daily Range: .193-.2545  Max Gain: 32%

Cannabis Science, Inc. CBIS

Daily Range: .07-.09    Max Gain: 29%

Hemp, Inc. HEMP

Daily Range: .03-.041  Max Gain: 37%

Added Note: We also have a couple of new marijuana stocks to add to our huge tracking list: CANN, AVTC

***UPDATE 10:30am*** Easton Pharmaceuticals, Inc. EAPH – We are adding another company that has aspirations of entering the cannabis industry. Per an October PR, EAPH has announced its desire to become one of Canada’s largest medical marijuana distributors, importing from countries like Uruguay and Holland. We are placing this stock on watch as it is in the process of breaking out today, and will continue to monitor its progress.

Verso Paper Corp. VRS

Switching gears from our cannabis plays, we have another winner in VRS which came off of yesterday’s extended watchlist to have a bang-up session. The stock saw a low of 3.50 before surging to 5.55, good for an intraday gain of 59%

Plug Power, Inc. PLUG

PLUG has been a source of solid gains for us in the recent past as well, and the stock piled on yet another nice performance Tuesday following a tag in our extended watchlist. From a low of 3.05, PLUG pushed as high as 4.14, giving traders the chance at daily gains of up to 36%

Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. NBIX

NBIX rounds off our huge group of Tuesday’s winners; after placing it on yesterday’s extended watchlist the stock made a nice run from a low of 15.20, on up to 18.62. That was good for an intraday move of 23%

As you can plainly see, we have been almost unable to find a losing pick so far in 2014! If you aren’t reading this report in your inbox, why not get over to our SIGNUP FORM and get subscribed to our daily pre-market alerts, which more often than not contain winners just like these. Each year, we promise greater success than the year before, and we seldom fail to deliver. 2014 has been no different, it has been a veritable trader’s paradise, so stay tuned into our reports and good luck out there!

Cannabis Stocks, OXBT, SEED & Extended Watchlist

Continuing Cannabis Coverage

We mentioned yesterday that despite some slight pullbacks in a few of our marijuana-related stocks on Friday, that we had better be on the lookout for rebound action. There were definitely some opportunities for that provided by some of our favorite ‘pot stocks’. The majority of the sector did indeed experience further gains, and we certainly saw tons of volume on all accounts. Here are a few of the more stand-out performances from this sector that we have been tracking heavily for an extended period:

GreenGrow Technologies, Inc. GRNH

GRNH continued its multi-day run on Monday. This was one of the ones that did not pull back on Friday. GRNH has been on a strong uptrend since we caught it toward the end of last week as it was trading at .045, and as of yesterday’s high of .185, the stock had given us the chance to make up to 311% in profits in just three sessions.

GrowLife, Inc. PHOT

We’ve seen a low of .157 out of PHOT so far in 2014, and yesterday the stock continued to push upward, touching .239. That marks a solid 52% move since last Thursday.

Tranzbyte Corp. ERBB

ERBB saw a low of .0026 before surging as high as .0035, marking an intraday move of 35% on almost 10X its average volume.

Terra Tech Corp. TRTC

TRTC made a nice move on Monday as well, trading from its daily low at .157 up to .185 for a 16% intraday gain. This came on roughly three times the average volume.

Creative Edge Nutrition, Inc. FITX

FITX managed a gain of 15% on nearly 4X its 3mo. average volume, as it traded in a daily range from .0054-.0062

Oxygen Biotherapeutics, Inc. OXBT

We liked the session put up by OXBT following its inclusion in yesterday’s extended watchlist. The stock made a solid 15% move from 5.5788 up to 6.44 on heavy volume. We’ll continue to keep an eye on this play moving forward. The company has news out today, announcing a couple of upcoming conference appearances.

MORRISVILLE, N.C., Jan 07, 2014 (BUSINESS WIRE) — –Biotech Showcase(TM) 2014 on January 15thOxygen Biotherapeutics, Inc., (NASDAQ: OXBT) a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing a portfolio of products for the critical care market, today announced that it is scheduled to present at two upcoming healthcare investor conferences in San Francisco.

Mr. Kelley will provide an update on the business operations, including the acquisition of certain assets of Phyxius Pharma Inc. and the development and near-term commercialization of levosimendan to prevent and treat cardiac surgery patients at risk for developing low cardiac output syndrome (LCOS).

AmeraMex International, Inc. AMMX

AMMX first appeared in our extended watchlist last Monday, and once again yesterday. During yesterday’s session we observed as the stock traded in a range from .0064-.0085, a 33% move. From last week’s low of .0047, that’s a gain of up to 81%

AMMX closed at the .0085 high of day on greater-than-average volume. Couple that fact with some of the indicators on the current AMMX chart, and this shows itself as a momentum play of great interest for the remainder of the week.

Origin Agritech, Inc. SEED

Another interesting pick from yesterday’s extended watchlist was SEED. The stock traded in a daily range from 2.15 up to 2.67 (+24%), and finished on a strong note 2.56.  We can see that SEED is gapping up this morning, with premarket trades going off as high as 2.95. We’ll be eager to see how much more this play can continue to push the envelope.
