Five Fresh Plays to Close Out a Good Week

Solid Options Runners from Thursday:

While we didn’t quite get a clean sweep on our earnings related options ideas in yesterday morning’s premarket report, we did manage to find some fairly big runners in three out of the five selections we made for the day. The SPY Calls stood out, with the markets logging a seriously bullish session all day long, which facilitated some solid double bag runs, but the ideas we had in SNOW were the real winners.

The quick-strike targets that really produced for us were the SPY 08/26 $413-415 Calls, the SNOW Weekly $187.50-192.50 Calls, and the DLTR Weekly $155-150 Puts, which recorded the following intraday activity:

SPY 08/26 $413-415 Calls
$413:
3.55-7.20 (+103%)

Reviewing Options Success, New Targets

Winning Options Review:

It would seem that more often than not, especially recently, that we turn in a full slate of successful options ideas, and yesterday was no exception to that. We floated three potential options ideas to track in our premarket report yesterday morning, and all three came back with positive performances on the day. Those were the CRM Weekly $170-175 Calls, the VSCO 06/17 $45 Calls, and the CPRI Weekly $49-52 Calls.

We also mentioned yesterday that we’d hold off on a successful idea from Tuesday’s report, the DELL 06/17 $50-52.50 Calls, and after another solid day it tacked onto those gains. Here are the two-day swing figures from that target, as well as the single session moves made by our trio of fresh plays from yesterday.

CRM Weekly $170-175 Calls

Options Review:

Out of our options ideas in Friday’s report, the two targets that would have paid off the most were the WDAY Weekly $235-245 Calls and the DELL Weekly $62.50-65 Calls
and especially in the WDAY day, we saw considerable multibag moves on the day.

So we’re going to kick off this fresh trading week by going over the total possible gains on those plays, which were as follows:

WDAY Weekly $235-245 Calls
$235:
 5.54-13.78 (+300%)
$240: 2.36-8.90 (+277%)
$245: .38-3.99 (+950%)
_____

DELL Weekly $62.50-65 Calls
$62.50:
 3.85-5.09 (+32%)
$65: 2.40-3.36 (+40%)

Fresh Options Ideas:

We’ll go ahead and keep the options train chugging along the tracks this morning.  Despite not having a very full boat on the earnings calendar today, TSLA and AAPL have both undergone forward splits today on the heels of setting new record highs. We are going to formulate a couple of ideas to correspond with the new PPS values.

TSLA Weekly $447-455 Calls
AAPL Weekly $125-127.50 Calls

Wrapping Up a Successful Week

Options Review:

The three short-term options trading ideas that we formulated for yesterday morning’s premarket report were in the BURL, TIF, and DG chains on the heels of the three big name companies reporting their quarterly earnings figures.

In each case, we were able to witness noteworthy intraday gains, most of which did reach multibag gainer status on the day:

BURL Weekly $195-197.50 Calls
$195:
 4.24-9.78 (+131%)
$197.50: 3.00-6.50 (+117%)
_____

TIF Weekly $122-123 Calls
$122:
 .82-1.94 (+137%)
$123: .80-1.40 (+75%)
_____

DG Weekly $205 Calls
$205:
 .50-1.75 (+250%)

These successful picks mark the continuation of what has been a very productive month of August for us. The vast majority of the ideas we have put forth have subsequently recorded multibag jumps.

Stock Recaps

We’ve also seen some nice gains on the stock side of things this week, and yesterday brought more success on that front as well.

Indoor Harvest Corp. INQD – We tagged INQD in yesterday’s extended watchlist, and this subpenny OTC play posted a modest but respectable move from .0046-.007, marking an intraday gain of 52%

Party City Holdco Inc. PRTY – We have to go back a few weeks to our report on the morning of May 4th to find our initial alert on PRTY. Since then we’ve seen the stock trading for as little as .43. It has been climbing steadily over the past several sessions, reaching a new high of 2.10 yesterday. That works out to an overall increase of 388%

Brewbilt MFG Inc. BBRW – We also saw BBRW make a big run from .03-.0899 for a 199% gain!
