Friday’s Major Runners, 4 Fresh Targets

Friday’s Big Movers:

We were pleased to be able to wrap up the trading week on Friday with a strong slate of options movers. Top-Flight Friday Finish:

Last week was a short trading week that did not exhibit the sleepy characteristics that holiday weeks can sometimes display. We were on point with our options trading ideas all week long, and we capped off that excellent run in Friday morning’s report with four ideas that all made some really good intraday swings. More New Highs Options

When we updated readers on our bitcoin related options plays yesterday morning, we had already witnessed gains in the neighborhood of 200%  We made sure to caution our readers that we expected to see further gains in all targets based on the surging price of bitcoin, which has now surpassed $38K/BTC.

Our expectations were met to the letter, as the following new highs were tacked on. Here are the total possible gains that were on the table following our signaling of these targets:

RIOT Weekly $17-19 Calls
$17: .65-2.75 (+323%)
$18: .52-2.96 (+469%)
$19: .35-2.20 (+529%)

MARA 01/15 $11-12 Calls
$11: 1.32-6.69 (+407%)
$12: 1.06-5.81 (+448%)

$13
: .80-5.00 (+525%)
$14: .62-4.27 (+589%)
$15: .50-3.65 (+630%)

Once again today, we feel as if more new highs are on the way for these contract sets, but we also want to stay at the money with our potential strikes, so we are going to add the MARA 01/15 $20 Calls and the RIOT Weekly $20-21 Calls.

Cannabis Plays Coming Back

With the democrats winning control of the US senate in the GA runoffs, the odds of finally seeing marijuana reclassified at the federal level sooner rather than later, have now gone up considerably. Thus we would like to signal a couple of ideas related to the cannabis space, and will likely be more focused on related stock and options ideas going forward.

CGC Weekly $31-31.50 Calls
TLRY Weekly $11.50-12 Calls

Biggest Gainer of the Year & Plenty More

Tesoro Enterprises, Inc. TSNP – Update

We have been actively tracking TSNP for a month since October 28th,at which time this OTC stock was trading for as little as .0005. It has been on an epic rise since then, and this morning, we are seeing an astonishing new high of .1595 in premarket trading.

That works out to an absolutely absurd increase of 31,800% in the span of just one month, and will go on record as our highest potential gainer for the entirety of 2020.

FORW which has the same CEO, George Sharp, is another stock we’re going to want to track as a sort of sympathy play. Given TSNP’s unbelievable success, it would be folly to ignore anything else with which that Mr. Sharp is involved.

Sundial Growers Inc. SNDL

We are also taking notice of the surge in activity in SNDL, a cannabis play, which is currently being propelled on news of some debt elimination.

Our regular readers are aware of our affinity for marijuana-related stock, and especially those traded on the higher exchanges. This is a stock that was trading at more than three times its current value just a year ago, and with the progress it’s making toward cleaning up its debt, we have no reason not to believe that a much more significant recovery could be in the cards.

Canopy Growth Corp. CGC

Speaking of cannabis plays on the higher exchanges, we signaled some fresh CGC options plays on Friday morning, the CGC Weekly $26-27 Calls and those came back instant winners for us to close out the short holiday week. Here were the half-day intraday ranges and total possible gains on those:

CGC Weekly $26-27 Calls
$26: .99-3.05 (+208%)
$26.50: .24-2.62 (+992%)
$27: .11-2.11 (+1818%)
