Monday’s Movers, Fresh Slate of Ideas

Nice Start to the Trading Week:

Things got off to a pretty good start for the week yesterday, after all of the plays we signaled in our premarket report posted good gains on the session. We didn’t have anything to go on with respect to earnings reporter, but we made do, and things worked out just fine. Friday’s Runners, Fresh Slate of Targets

Top-Flight Friday Finish:

Last week was a short trading week that did not exhibit the sleepy characteristics that holiday weeks can sometimes display. We were on point with our options trading ideas all week long, and we capped off that excellent run in Friday morning’s report with four ideas that all made some really good intraday swings. Our biggest goal has always been identifying what we feel are some of the best possible targets on any given day, and as any of our regular readers can attest, we’ve become VERY good at what we do.

Friday’s interests were the DOCU Weekly $52-54 Calls, the RH Weekly $347.50-340 Puts, the SMAR 09/15 $40-45 Calls, and the SWBI 09/15 $10-12.50 Calls, and here are the nice moves they recorded on the session:

DOCU Weekly $52-54 Calls
$52:
.04-.13 (+225%)
$53: .01-.05 (+400%)
$54: .01-.03 (+200%)
_____

RH Weekly $347.50-340 Puts
$347.50: 6.70-33.00 (+393%)
$345: 5.26-35.20 (+569%)
$340: 2.60-30.54 (+1075%)
_____

SMAR 09/15 $40-45 Calls
$40: 5.00-7.60 (+52%)
$45: .94-2.15 (+129%)

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: SPY Options & More

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. HPE

There hasn’t been a day in quite some time when we we’ve offered  options trading ideas to our readers and didn’t come out successful. Yesterday was definitely no exception. Our premarket report contained a flag of the HPE Weekly $16.50 & $17 Calls.

In both cases, double bag gains or better could have been achieved, with the $16.50’s making a perfect double as they ran from .55-1.10, and the $17’s pushing the envelope a bit more, rising 186% from .21-.60.

SPDRA S&P 500 ETF (SPY) – Options Idea

With the markets appearing to be in line for another solid push, we’re going to confine our fresh idea this morning to the SPY. We have traditionally had much success with trading options in this particular fund.

Today we’re going to be looking at the SPY Weekly $290-291.50 Calls, to watch into the end of the week.
