Friday 4 Winners, Today’s 4 Fresh Plays

Friday’s Options Gainers:

We closed out the trading week on Friday morning in grand fashion, highlighting a 4-pack of fresh earnings-related options ideas for the day. Despite the markets sliding back and three out of the four being bullish ideas, we scored solid gain opportunities in everything we were focused on, which is fairly typical around here.

The targets that we were interested in tracking in Friday’s premarket report were the KMB Weekly $130-134 Calls, the SLB Weekly $40.50-41 Calls, the HCA Weekly 245-237.50 Puts, and the SNAP Weekly $29-30 Calls. As we said, every idea we were tracking produced several chances for really nice daily gains, including a ten and twelve-bagger on those SLB Calls, as well as a nine and thirteen-bagger in the SNAP Calls!

We’ve got our typical options review to start things off with today, and thanks in part to a solid close for the markets at large yesterday, not only did both of our fresh ideas post big intraday moves, but one of our targets from earlier in the week popped off in a big way as well.

It was a treacherous day for the markets yesterday, with the vast majority of big board stocks pulling back, but we still managed to go two for three on options ideas despite signaling calls across the board.

The two ideas that recorded notable intraday moves before falling off into the close, were the NOW Weekly $530-540 Calls, and the TSLA Weekly $930-945 Calls. Oftentimes post-earnings plays will still provide such opportunities even if they can’t sustain the momentum, which is exactly why we base most of our targets around quarterly reporters on a given day.

We have also been tracking TGGI quite a bit over the past several weeks, tagging it in our extended watchlists. Since our last mention of the stock it has made a move from .0081-.0143. That works out to an overall upswing of 77%

We’ve been all over the SPY lately, playing it both short and long over the past week with great success each time. Yesterday morning we signaled some fresh bullish targets for the dailies, and were met with multibag runs on the session.

We were after the SPY 01/12 $470-472 Calls, and thanks to a gap-and-go right out of the starting gate, we got the following opportunities:

Three Winners, Three New Targets

Options Clean Sweep:

We came out firing on all cylinders in yesterday morning’s premarket report. We lined up three potential options trading ideas, and all three were good for some nice single session gain opportunities. In addition to earnings related ideas we also continued to play the SPY, which we’ve been doing to great effect lately.

Our exact areas of interest were the TLRY Weekly $6.50-7.50 Calls, the SFIX Weekly $19 Calls, and the SPY 1/10 $465-462 Puts, The SFIX gains were modest, but TLRY and the SPY logged huge multibag intraday runs.
