LTUM Recap & More

Lithium Corp. LTUM – Recap

It was just this past Thursday that we mentioned LTUM on our watchlist and we are circling back today to report the solid move it has made since then. We always try to sprinkle in a few OTC plays despite our primary focus generally tending toward options these days. We are right in the middle of an earnings dead-zone, so it was helpful to have a play like LTUM on our radar.

The stock, from its initial low of .165, hit a new high of .33 during yesterday’s session. That represents a double bag increase of 100% in the span of just 3 trading days.

Options Updates & More

Adobe, Inc. ADBE – Options Update

Yesterday morning we signaled a couple of options plays in ADBE and FDX, with both companies reporting their quarterly earnings in the post-market. While we didn’t get much action from FDX in the run-up to earnings, ADBE began to perform. Noth sets of targets should be of interest today.

We expect to see some positive activity right from the outset today, as those untraded upon beats will surely factor in. Stay tuned tomorrow for an update on those upcoming performances. For now, here are the initial moves that ADBE started off with in yesterday’s session.

ADBE Weekly $490-495 Calls

$490: 18.00-22.75 (+26%)
$492.50: 17.77-21.55 (+21%)
$495: 16.44-20.30 (+23%)

SPDR S&P500 (ETF) SPY – Recap

We also signaled a range of SPY Calls to watch yesterday, and despite a general downtrend for the markets at large, we did see some notable moves in those contracts, which will expire at the end of the session today.

$340: 1.39-2.16 (+55%)
$341: .98-1.59 (+62%)

Giga Metals Corp. HNCKF

On Monday morning we signaled interest in HNCKF via our extended watchlist, and we wanted to report back on the two day performance we’ve seen from that stock so far this week. From a low of 1.05 we witnessed a high of 1.59 yesterday, marking a respectable move of 51%

A Load of Fresh Targets

Amkor Technology, AMKR

We’re going to take a little break from our typical focus today, and have a look some pure stock plays that we feel have some good potential. So our first billing on this Monday morning is going to be AMKR.

The stock has been searching out a bottom over the last few sessions, which it has found around the upper $10-level, and has just received an upgrade and $16 price target from Credit Suisse. Accordingly, we’re going to place AMKR on extended watch for the possibility of a notable rebound from the current PPS.

Bellerophon Therapeutics, Inc. BLPH

Another stock play we’re focusing in on today is BLPH, a symbol we’ve had some experience with in the past. After a lackluster summer, the stock appears to be gearing up for a potentially fruitful fall season. It recently reversed off of a bottom, and we’re going to want to place this one on watch for an extended term as well.

BLPH tested the $20-25 range back in May, and we are going to hang around to see if it can mount a similar effort as we head into the holidays.

Kontrol Energy Corp. KNRLF

Speaking of stock plays, we had included a mention of the OTC stock KNRLF in our watchlist on Thursday morning. The low from that day came in at 2.12 and on Friday, it reached a new high of 3.88 marking a two-day swing of 83%

It also ended up closing out the week with strength very near that daily high, so we’ll have our eyes peeled for a possible continuation of that momentum.
