Big Day on Thursday, 4-Pack of New Plays

Thursday’s Huge Selection of Runners:

We threw a lot at the wall in yesterday morning’s premarket report, and the vast majority of it stuck firmly. In a rare move, we included an offering of seven options trading ideas we felt had potential on the day, and six of them returned significant gain opportunities. Huge Selection of Fresh Ideas

Options Review:

We fared reasonable well with our midweek report yesterday morning, after having formulated potential options plays in five chains. With the exception of some longer-term puts in NVO, which may just need some time to come around, those ideas yielded some solid trading chances on the day.

The weekly calls that went on to enjoy those moves, in part due to the massive late-day surge in the markets following the afternoon Fed meeting, were the EA Weekly $113-116 Calls, the TMO Weekly $575-580 Calls, the GSK Weekly $34.50-35 Calls, and the AI Weekly $20-20.50 Calls, and here were the sorts of gains that were there for the taking:

EA Weekly $113-116 Calls
$113:
 1.34-3.80 (+183%)
$114: .96-3.20 (+233%)
$115: .63-2.25 (+257%)
$116: .40-1.70 (+325%)
_____

TMO Weekly $575-580 Calls
$575: 11.08-22.17 (+101%)
$580: 8.13-20.00 (+146%)
_____

GSK Weekly $34.50-35 Calls
$34.50:
 (low volume)
$35:
 .40-.68 (+70%)
