Synthesis Energy Systems Inc. SES
Our top billing of the morning is going to be SES, which we tagged for observation in yesterday morning’s premarket report. It’s always a good idea to check through our Extended Watchlists that we include in nearly all of our daily newsletters, and cases like this are the reason.
SES absolutely exploded to kick off the week, following a solid move on Friday as well. The momentum carried over into this fresh trading week, and the stock simply skyrocketed. From a low of 7.81, the stock reached as high as 26.10. That works out to a whopping single session gain of 234% and was good for the #1 top slot on the NASDAQ daily gainers list!
Johnson & Johnson JNJ – Fresh Options Idea
We also want to radar some JNJ calls on the heels of the company’s earnings beat and raised guidance. The stock has been in an ascending wedge pattern for the past 7 weeks, and its Q3 beat could provide just the impetus we’re looking for, to score with some weekly options calls.
We’re going to be tracking the JNJ Weekly $130-132 Calls for the remainder of this trading week.
Bonus Idea: UNH Weekly $222.50-225 Calls
CVM, SNDL, OLLI, AMBA, VRAY, ONCS, GLUU
We’re going to start out this morning by going over some recent extended term options ideas we’ve had and the success they’re enjoying after Friday’s market rebound from Wednesday’s big dip. We are also seeing the makings of a continuation of Friday’s momentum today, so we expect to see the gains listed on our ideas to below to be expanded with another bullish session.
Agilent technologies, Inc. A – Our timing with Agilent couldn’t have been much better, citing the A 9/20 $65-70 Calls as our area of interest on Wednesday. The recovery that would follow for stocks in general would help push those targets to some extremely solid intraweek runs.

$67.50 Calls – Range: 2.30-4.48 – Max Gain: 95%

Boeing Corp. BA – We have been tracking a range of Boeing calls since early this month, signaling our interest in the BA 09/06 $340-350 Calls on the morning of August 5th. Arcadia Biosciences, Inc. ARKA – Update
We placed RKDA on watch on Friday morning’s premarket report. We caught it off of one of our routine premarket scans, and determined that a bounce play was a good possibility. Not only did we get what we were looking for, but the stock looks ready to gap-up once again this morning.
From a daily low of 2.70 the stock reached as high as 4.97, marking an intraday increase of 84% When measured to today’s new premarket high of 6.42, it works out to a two day swing of 138% and gives us good cause to continue to monitor its activity as we open up a new trading week.
DXC Technologies, Inc. DXC – Recap
We went bearish on DXC in Friday’s report, offering up an options idea of the DXC 08/16 $40-37.50 Puts. Both of those contracts performed well as DXC had the floor fall out from beneath it, posting the worst daily loss in nearly two decades.
The $40 Puts ran from 2.66-5.00, representing an intraday pop of 88% while the $37.50’s soared into multibag gainer territory with a move from 1.00-3.10, a gain of 210%

Riot Blockchain, Inc. RIOT
Back on the 9th of this month, we tagged RIOT for observation, and then again yesterday morning, just prior to a big boost for the stock in the wake of a Bitcoin rally.
Following the time of our initial alert, RIOT saw a low of 4.41, and as of yesterday’s run carrying it to it to a new high of 8.555, we’ve observed a 94% increase in just a couple of weeks.

Del Mar Pharmaceuticals, Inc . DMPI
We wanted to swing back around to recap the solid performance of DMPI since we tagged it the day after the Christmas break a couple of weeks back.
It was just a couple sessions later that the stock would find support at .96, and begin a pretty substantial run up the chart. It was helped along by the last six consecutive sessions registering higher base levels of support as the stock has crept all the way up to a high of 1.75, recorded on Friday.
That worked out to a move of 82% in less than two trading weeks, while volume over the same period has been heightened. The high coincided with the current 200DMA, so we’ll look for DMPI to possibly crack that 1.75 mark and head for blue skies.
Kohls Corp KSS
We want to include an options idea for Kohls as we kick off the first full trading week of 2018, on the heels of a solid earnings report.
The company posted strong sales for the holiday season, while giving a significant boost to full year guidance. Shares jumped accordingly in premarket trading, and we are going to be waiting with some targeted weekly contracts to coincide with the activity. We’re going to signal and track the KSS Weekly $58-60 Calls.
