2 Straight Weeks of Wins, 4 Fresh Ideas

Friday’s Incredible Achievement:

It’s a happy start to Thanksgiving week for us on this Monday morning, as we look back to the tremendous achievement we accomplished on Friday. As we were mentioning in our premarket report, we had been hoping to call another perfect slate of earnings and complete our second consecutive week without missing on a single pick.

We are exceedingly pleased to report that all five of Friday’s plays helped us to reach that goal. The SPY 11/17 $451-452 Calls, the GLBE Weekly $30 Calls, the ROST Weekly $126-128 Calls, the BJ Weekly $65 Puts, and the AMAT Weekly $145-143 Puts sealed the deal for us and registered our second trading week in a row of nothing but winners! Happy Holidays!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS, ONE AND ALL!

We want to start things off this short trading week, by wishing everyone a happy holiday season, no matter how you celebrate!

This is traditionally a very low-key week for the markets, as most people are focused on enjoying their families or time off from work at this time. Especially with no major earnings reporters on the calendar, we expect a relatively subdued start to the week as well.

General Mills, Inc. GIS

One thing we do want to do is circle back to the call we made for the GIS options chain on Wednesday, which made a pretty good move into the end of the week, and will be high on our watchlist , as further gains are very possible.

We had highlighted the GIS 01/17 $55 Calls, and they subsequently made a very impressive move from .10-.29, marking a rise of 190% We will continue to keep an eye on this play, as GIS attempts to break the double top around the $54 mark. A break of that area will send these gains soaring.

Fresh Options Ideas:

Finally, it wouldn’t feel like the start of a fresh trading week without some fresh options speculation.

We’re going to radar the SPG 01/17 $145-150 Calls as the chart is in a prime bottom-bounce setup. We took it out to the January 17th’s to give ourselves ample time to witness what appears to be an impending rebound.

PLCE Options Recap & More

The Children’s Place, Inc. PLCE – Update

As a result of the insider buying we discovered at a bottom on PLCE yesterday, we placed a pair of contracts in the options chain on watch, specifically the, PLCE 01/17 $65-70 Calls.

Despite being a bit of a longer-term idea, we still witnessed instantaneous results from these targets, which produced the following intraday moves:

$65 Calls – Range: 2.55-4.20 – Max Gain: 65%
$70 Calls – Range: .35-.85 – Max Gain: 143%

We’re interested in continuing to track these plays, with PLCE still boasting a massive gap to the topside on the chart up to roughly the $70 level. Should the stock continue to fill that gap, we’re going to see the total gains on these ideas hit even more impressive levels.

Fresh Options Ideas:
WVE 04/17 $17.50-25 Calls
GIS 01/17 $55 Calls
FDX Weekly $155-150 Puts

Blue Horseshoe Stocks: Options for the Week & More

Arcadia Biosciences, Inc. ARKA – Update

We placed RKDA on watch on Friday morning’s premarket report. We caught it off of one of our routine premarket scans, and determined that a bounce play was a good possibility. Not only did we get what we were looking for, but the stock looks ready to gap-up once again this morning.

From a daily low of 2.70 the stock reached as high as 4.97, marking an intraday increase of 84% When measured to today’s new premarket high of 6.42, it works out to a two day swing of 138% and gives us good cause to continue to monitor its activity as we open up a new trading week.

DXC Technologies, Inc. DXC – Recap

We went bearish on DXC in Friday’s report, offering up an options idea of the DXC 08/16 $40-37.50 Puts. Both of those contracts performed well as DXC had the floor fall out from beneath it, posting the worst daily loss in nearly two decades.

The $40 Puts ran from 2.66-5.00, representing an intraday pop of 88% while the $37.50’s soared into multibag gainer territory with a move from 1.00-3.10, a gain of 210%

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. BABA – Review

On Friday morning, apart from recapping the amazing options idea we proffered in last week’s reports, we formulated one final fresh idea for the week. That was the BABA Weekly $165-162.50 Puts, and the performance there did not disappoint.

We sussed out multibag options gainers all week long, and this short on BABA was a solid way to cap it all off. The $165 Puts ran from a low of .78 and reached 2.26, for an intraday gain of 190% The $162.50’s also fared quite well, running from 1.84-4.36, which represents a 137% rip.
